When an incoming call, email and or message is received only the LED blinks. I get no sound/ringtone nor does the phone vibrate. I've checked the phone's settings and all appears to be as it should.
so I have a few contacts that have their number and their PIN; when they sms me, it shows up as a little phone icon to the right then the message inbox which dont bother me, however my problem is the sound and vibration when they sms me, it dont vibrate or there is no sound when its on loud. I've tried everything possible, but no luck. so does anyone know how to fix this issue.?? and yes, i have looked and if i overlooked it, sorry(:

Phone does not ring, does vibrate, sound profile is set to "Phone Calls Only. Did a hard reboot (removed & reinserted battery), did not change the problem.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI just got my Curve 8250 yesterday, and I spent last night setting up my ringtones. I put the phone in Vibrate mode when I was asleep, and when I put it back into normal mode this morning, nothing happens when a text/PIN/phone call comes through. I just get the red flashing light. I've done a 30-second battery pull and made sure that the profiles were as I'd made them yesterday.

When someone calls me, my phone rings once and then there is a long delay before it rings again. My daughter has the Bold and she uses the same ringtone and doesn't have this problem. I have Sprint and she has AT&T if that matters. Thank you for any help you can give me.

If so, do i have to adjust this option for every sound (i.e. MMS, e-mail, alerts, etc)?Or there an easy way to adjust these settings? I'm not very familiar with the BBs so please be gentle.

If i connect the headphones it only rings when the music player is on. If i stop the player is not ringing again, only vibrates. I know the menu very well and is all set to the right parameters. I've bought a new housing complete and i'm waiting to have it delivered next week because 99% i think is the speaker.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Curve (8530) from Verizon and within the last 24 hours my phone has gone from being fully functional to not functioning at all. First, my speakerphone stopped working, then I lost all sounds (ringing, alerts, etc) yet the vibrate setting still works, and now my trackpad has frozen to where I can't navigate the phone at all. I can still make calls by typing in the number or using my programmed numbers on the keys and I can still receive calls as well, but if I try and navigate using the trackpad, I can't move off of the sounds icon.About 4 days ago, I downloaded the new OS software when my phone prompted me to and when these problems started happening, I did a "soft" reset (alt+right shift+del) and a "hard" reset (removed the battery) which not solve any of the problems. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas about how I can fix these problems outside of going to the Verizon store and waiting hours to get help?

my iphone doesnt ring or vibrate when i recieve a phone call or text all it does is light up! all my setting are correct and i have downloaded an vibrate app that i read sometimes fixes it but nothing seems to work.

My phone will vibrate, but does not audibly ring. The silent switch is not set, If i go into the settings menu, the ringer menu files are missing.All other sounds work flawlessly, music plays, keyboard clicks away and voicemail, and text alerts come through, it's just the ringer that's problematic.I have attched the screen shot of the settings page here below.
