when viewing my message folder, it shows phone calls sent and received. I want to only see my emails when viewing the folder. Phones made and received are showing in the phone folder and that is want i want. Can anyone help me?

My curve has been fantastic, but after a while its getting really slow, the messages take a week to load, and i have to do a battery pull sometimes to get it to work.and another problem, even when im connected to a wifi network, it uses my sim internet, any idea why?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI updated my phone the other day with the v5.0.0.734 OS. It wiped out everything. I had to go back and restore my contacts, reload ringtones and apps, etc. Got everything back the way it was now.
I have three email accounts synced to it. All are active, Wi-fi on, network on. New mail isn't showing up on my handset, only from my gmail account, the hotmails aren't showing up. Used to be you could look in the folder for each email account and see what emails were there, then there was one folder that showed all of them. What am I missing?
For a while the camera and photos worked just fine, but now whenever I take a picture, it never saves to my pictures folder. Unlike other issues I've read about in other posts, there is no placeholder, error icon or ANYTHING in with my other photos, they just simply aren't there.
The other day I somehow mysteriously took a few photos that DID save to my folder, but just now I looked back and they have disappeared.
Is it possible to recover or restore a deleted folder? I accidentaly deleted my "Media" folder, and I want to restore that folder with the little 'Play' icon.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded my 8520 to v5.0.0.681 then when I checked for options > applications I see app world, app center and BB maps but when I checked it on folders (downloads, applications, games, etc.). I can't find any of them. I did reboot the phone, pulled the battery reinstalled the OS but then still having the same problem.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIt's been happening since this today, when I receive a SMS or email the phone rings/vibrates and everything, then when I go to to the SMS&MMS or email icon nothing new is there. Earlier this morning everything was fine, I was sending/receiving texts without any problem. Then I connected my bb to my computer and opened desktop manager, received a SMS while it was plugged in, I tried reading it and saw nothing. That's exactly when I started having this issue. The only unusual thing was that I was running warcraft 3 at the same time but that has nothing to do with the bb. I already tried turning off the phone then turning it back on, did a battery pull using quickpull, did a battery pull physically and it's still the same.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a bb curve 8520 on orange, im from the uk and have virgin broadband. i have a dlink wirles router. i can connect to it no problem and get the wifi emblem in white and black showing its connected, i also have my routers name come up so its definatly connected. i have litteraly no signal in my house, either 1 bar or sos, sometimes i will get uma signal, sometimes not, my gf has the same contract and phone as i do, both are orange branded phones and she gets uma signal almost instantly as she steps into the house. why do i not get uma, are my settigns not configured properly? as i really cant send or recieve calls and messages.

Well the new ringtone she set for that profile, is not showing up for all contacts. It is still showing old ringtone! I tried switching but still stays the same. Only way to change is by individualy contacts.

It messed up my contacts birthdays on the calendar again (just like every update ive downloaded since i got my phone), but besides that I thought everything was fine. But then, After using it for a few days, I've occassionally been unable to hear anything during calls. It works most of the time, but occassionally, when someone calls me and i pick up; it says "Connected", I don't hear anything. Same with vice versa, when I call them, it says "Connected" and I dont hear anything.

It's like the tone if you have a call waiting, but the thing is there is no other call. It's getting pretty annoying because it does this on every call. The wife's phone does the samething. We do have the latest update on the 8530.
View 12 Replies View Relatedgot a 8520 a couple of months ago, and after two weeks the phone speaker would break up when making a call, so you could only hear 1 in 3 words someone was saying, and inbetween was silence.T-mobile sent me a new one out next day, but now after 4 months the new one has started doing it.Can make calls fine with ear piece, speakerphone is working for playing music, haven't tried it for calls, and handset speaker works fine for music too, but breaks up when phoning anyoneThe second time it happened was just after okaying an upgrade. View 5 Replies View RelatedI got the Curve 8530 on Verizon... I receive a text message from a person, go to the sms icon on my home screen and click on it. My bb shows the new message with the persons's name and a preview of the text. I click on it to view it but it doesnt open the conversation. Then I'll try an older conversation and it works fine. But what is strange is that it will only continue to happen to that one contact. So ill receive a new text from someone else and i can read it with no problems.
