I sent a SMS text message to another verizon user and it was recieved, but there is no little D next to the check mark. So can somebody tell me what this little D means, and if my sms text was recieved and it was sent to another verizon user, why is there no little D?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI couldn't find what I was looking for searching, so sorry for the new thread..I need to retrieve deleted text messages from the past month from one person in particular. I've done search after search on my phone and it's only giving me the messages I've sent to that person and not their messages.
Is there a way to pull these messages or do I need some sort of software? I haven't done a backup for a few months since I only use it as a phone and for Facebook.Please tell me there is someway to pull these messages. I need to catch this perp now and report him to my pastor.
Does anyone have problems sending photos using text messages?? Sometimes people receive them and other times they do not. I have one person that has an iphone and she can never receive a photo from me but yet she can send them fine. I just had someone send me a photo just now and I was trying to forward it to everyone on my contact list and it would not send it. Very frustrating. I never had this problem on my other phones.

My phone gets text messages and can receive calls at certain time but after a while if you try to make a call or send a text it won't go thru even though I have full bars or close to it.
Its weird I have service for like half an hour then suddently it stops. I have asked people with blackberrys who have verizon in the area and they aren't having any problems.
I have tried taking out the battery/Reset. It worked a few times but these last few days it has not solved the problem.
I already spoke to Verizon and they tried to do some troubleshooting with me.
My phone was working after I talking with Verizon but the problem keeps reoccurring.
Im in an area where I can't call 228 so even when my phone is working I cant update the software.
My Wife has an 8310 with a broken data/charge port and we need to save the text messages off of the phone to be used in court. Is there any way to save the text messages to the media or sim card? She already has a new 8310 and she has to return the old phone (with the messages) to the warranty company. She was emailing some of the text messages but for some reason she can no longer email from that phone.Any an dall help will be appreciated.

The problem that I am having is the messages that were sent to my tmo.blackberry email address that are saved to my phone I cannot find to save to a computer. I have tried forwarding the saved messages to another email address but when I do I get a red "X" and it says "Unlisted message error". Any help would be appreciated, I am going through a nasty divorce and I need all of these messages for court.

It's doing that great thing where is randomly erases messages and numbers in my call log. I don't know why it is not using the memory card since i have 3.6gb free on the card. Any ideas?i love my curve dont want to upgrade but this is crazy

"Device error 424"
"ABORT DATA-reset"
"JVM error 514 .JNI Argument error"
Used multiloader , Crackmem , JL_Cmder. All this things won't work. and the surprise when my Blackberry is plugged on my PC working like a new Blackberry with no errors nothing, and when I unplug the USB the errors come back and reset.
I'm new to the site, I just got my first blackberry about a week ago, an 8330 on the virgin mobile network here in Canada.I have already done the upgrade to OS 5.0, and love the differance. a friend of mine who has a Storm found vlingo app, but they want to charge 19.99 for a year of service. I have searched the forums some now and can't seem to find a free version that works on my phone. just wondering if someone might know where i can find it, or atleast a free alternitive?

I can be in mid conversation ad then not hear back from them for like 30 to an hour and they think I'm ignoring them. The time stamp shows when they sent and when I received what do I do to stop this.

Anywho, he has something set up that when he gets a phone call and doesn't want to answer it he just hits ignore and has it set up that it will automatically send a text message to that number saying "i'm in a meeting I will call you back" is this possible to set up with a Blackberry Curve 8330 on Sprint? In the device manual it says and in the device HelpSearch it sais the same:home->messages->options-> Message Display and Actions , but this sub-category option doesn't appear on my device messages options (i googled it and also ppl said they can't find this option on their curve 3G...)i have in option of messages this sub-categories:General Text Messaging options, SMS Text, MMS and in none of them there is an option regarding how long to keep txt messages...
