My friend has downloaded this newer version with no problems, ive followed every instruction given to upgrade to 6 and it just keeps telling me there isnt any. On the main page for the OS 6 upgrade it states the 9300 can get it, but i cant.

Nice, but now I can't make searches looking for a specific word in Files, Contact Notes or Memos.Unfortunately the search just look for the names of the files that contain the word that you are looking but not inside the files like in the version 5. L. Are there any way to solve this handicap because this is very important for my business analysis here in Ecuador. Please need your help o just tell me how to go back to the good previous version number 5.0. On the other hand the new browser does not allow me to see web pages with the option "column view" like version 5.

I havent unplugged the battery, and the laptop I'm using is a vista machine 32bit with loads of hard drive and loads of ram. I dont know what i'm doing wrong, I thought or figured it should be a pretty easy process.
Also I have downloaded "8900M_PBr5.0.0_rel1682_PL5.2.0.104_A5.0.0.1036_Vodafone_Ireland" and ran this but still now update.

Since BB App World is been telling me there is a new version of BBM (V5.0.3.22), I have tried to update my device with no luck. If I try to update it connecting the phone via wifi or data service, it tells me that BBM is not available for download via BB App World, and if I connect the phone to a pc and try to install it via the pc, it gets me an unknown error.

That's fine, so I've clicked it to do it's thing, and nothing really happens, apart from it "Verifying update..." and occasionally the little clock face pops up on top of it. View 9 Replies View RelatedOk my daughters BB 9300 for some reason deleted all her contacts, and is generally very very slow.So I decided to backup SD bard, and do a wipe and start again.I went into Security>security wipe> delete emails, contacts, media card. it did it stuff, I then connected to my BB desktop on Mac, it connected fine, I then tried to do an update to the OS as it is on OS v6.2647 and there is a newer version, however it keeps saying needs 6Mb data free.The BB desktop says there is 35mb free, what else can I do?

I was thinking, my phone has a "T-Mobile" logo on startup. Im using it in the Philippines, via the Globe network. I downloaded the update for globe, but it didnt work. Does anyone know if I should download the upgrade for T-Mobile instead? And can I still be able to use my Globe number in it and my BB service?
