BB Software :: Update 9300 From Version 5 To OS 6?

I just update my 9300 BB from version 5 to OS 6. Nice, but now I can't make searches looking for a specific word in Files, Contact Notes or Memos.Unfortunately the search just look for the names of the files that contain the word that you are looking but not inside the files like in the version 5. L. Are there any way to solve this handicap because this is very important for my business analysis here in Ecuador. Please need your help o just tell me how to go back to the good previous version number 5.0. On the other hand the new browser does not allow me to see web pages with the option "column view" like version 5.

My friend has downloaded this newer version with no problems, ive followed every instruction given to upgrade to 6 and it just keeps telling me there isnt any. On the main page for the OS 6 upgrade it states the 9300 can get it, but i cant.

I have Iphone 4 currently 4.3.3 version and am having issues updating to current version 5.0.1. Phone is plugged in, computer asks if i want to update, I click yes, computer downloads the new software (25-35 min) but when it starts to transfer to phone an error message pops up saying that the network has timed out. This has happened on two different computers.

my problem is I cant update my MAC OS X version 10.6.8 to version 10.7.3 and whenever I check for software update , it doesn't show any update further than 10.6.8 ! I'm trying to download app and it required version 10.7 , what should I do ?

I wanted to intsall Mail For Exchange, and the Nokia E72 NAM doesnt seem to have it when I bought it (unless you can direct me to it). I decided to follow the instructions to install it, but it requires me to update the ovi store. I dont know if this will update the firmware as well, but i heard that the newest firmware (v031.032 i believe) is very buggy, so i want to avoid this until another firmware comes out.Can someone help? if its already on the phone, i just need to know where it is. If its not on the phone, will updating the ovistore affect anything in terms of new firmware or other sorts? The reason i want to install this is to utilize the google calendar so i dont have to keep plugging the e72 into the computer (and possibly damaging the plastic usb cover).

I have just received a "Blackberry Bold 9700 Unlocked International Version" which i purchased from Amazon.Com. "This is supposed to be a new unbranded unit".
The installed software version is 5.0.0.351 with platform 5.1.0.98 and branding version 1.0.160.529q.I have read in this forum that there is a later version of the os available yet when I utilized the BB desktop software updater, it say that the latest version is installed. Is this correct?
I also have other issues with applications. I am unable to download and install the "BlackBerry APP World"; I get a message, " Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support BlackBerry App World"
"Google talk" give an error messag: " Service not enabled for this hand held" "Blackberry maps" are not loaded on the handset.Setup wizard does not give me the option to set up my personal e-mail only enterprise e-mail.I am able to browse and send and receive MMS & SMS messages.
Kindly advise as to ho to resolve these issues and whether there is a more current software version for the handset, and if so: how do I update it.

I have a 3GS firmware version 3.1 (7C144) that I want to update to firmware version 3.1.2. Is this possible? I don't want to update to 3.1.3 because I want to be able to keep my unlock. The only reason I would like to update is because there are a few apps that require 3.1.2 to work. Should I just leave it and say forget it for now? Or is it possible to update just to 3.1.2?

Getting issue while making backup or trying to update the Plateform from 7.0 to New 7.01 New Release , it got stuck while taking backup and the massage on the computer comes Blackberry Device Restarted while it's not device is still on.. is there anything which i can make backup atleast so just make security wipe and install one more time everything but that will gain to my data loss.

I had managed to update version to 2.3.3 from 2.3.2 during this week.But somehow, PC companion still shows me that I had new updates for my phone.
So I did the 2nd update as follows on the instructions, and after reboot the phone, ALL my personal settings, messages, contacts, apps, games setting on the phone are gone!Luckily the phone was still new and i had a back up last few weeks ago.Hope Sony Ericcson will look into this issue and prevent it from happen on the next update!
