I was given a blackberyy for BBM. I bnought a sim and memory card. It was activated. I have been sending messages and all I get is an "action pending" symbol. No incoming or outgoing connection.

ive got the blue " new blackberry messenger" symol on the top of my phone but i have no pending messages to read - i have deleted all messages, chats etc - the only thing i have done is deleted a contact and ignored them - i tried unignoring all and its still there! have taken the battery out etc but im about to throw it across the room now!

I get the check next to what i typed but no D or R. it takes from 2 hours to 6 for one of my messages to arrive! this happens with all of my BBM contacts which i thought was pretty weird because i can receive their messages at once. I have whatsapp and i can text from there normally and all my other apps work normally.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've a bold 9700. I am in Australia with Vodafone Australia bb data plan. I have been experiencing difficulties with the BBM applcation and have to admit I'm both frustrated and dissapointed.
After wiping out my BB for security reasons, I installed a recent copy of BBM application v.57 however I have encountered problems after problems.
I have been trying to add my contacts back but this operation has been unsuccessful (both way. Ie: them inviting me and me inviting them). All the time, I got the same message PENDING (Waiting for authorization) and nothing more (with overseas contacts in India, France, ect...).
With a couple of overseas contacts, they have been added but communication is simply impossible (undelivered messages). I have noticed that all my australian contacts have been added fine and communication works fine but none of the overseas ones work.
I have requested several times from my operator to check the service (which is fine) and send me service books which got delivered fine. I can send email via BB, I can PIN people, I can browse internet but cannot communicate via BBM.
I have tried adding people by PIN and email address but no success either. I have also tried downgrading my bBm to version 4.7 but no better.
I'm extremely frustrated with the situation and would appreciate your help in that matter. Can you please investigate further so I can have full usage of my BB (which is why I got one in the first place)
Since one week i have really annoying problems with my internet in xperia. Problem is that after several minutes of using internet on it for example wifi, it just disconnects from internet. Arrow on wifi symbol is still showing that it's sending something but internet is gone, i have the same problem with 3g too. After couple of seconds it reconnects, or if I restart wifi really fast internet is still on. Is it possible that it happened after i dropped it few times when I moved out.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded to a 9700 from a 8900 two months ago, and recently ive noticed at times my messages through the messenger seem to take an AGE to go through.Also most recently, ive been receiving messages really late aswell, and this can be upto 12-24 hours later.Im on t-mobile(uk) and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? My handsets software version is 5.0.0.423.
View 6 Replies View RelatedJust realized the other day you can make a Group in the BBM's and send one message to multiple people. So, I was trying it out. I sent a request to 2 people, to join. One accepted no problem.. For the second person, their request to join didn't seem to go through, so I sent it multiple times. But they HAD joined & then deleted, as test was over.
By the time we were done testing, got it all sorted out. Deleted the Group etc... I guess because for 1 of the people I send the request multiple times thinking it wasn't going through I now have "Pending" sitting at the bottom of the BBM area, & can't get rid of the Pending notification (pending waiting for them to join). They joined once. Deleted. & they no longer have it showing at their end, to join.
all contacts come up as pending when i add them, no invites are coming through?

While I'm trying to add my friends PIN who lives in the same area as I am it's working. However, I have some friends in Thailand when I added their PIN they received my request and they did accepted it but the contact still on pending. I already try it many times it still on pending.
Moreover, during group chat my friends in Thailand can see my messages but I can't see their messages. Is there any possible explaination to this problem?
I got my phone yesterday and thought to download PDF file from internet. Once I downloaded I pressed open it did and after I downloaded another one different one pressed open and I got this message "The document could not be opened because there is a pending dialog in Documents To Go. Please close the dialog and try again". I pressed ok and tried to close the application but it is still open and I can't close it.

I'm using nokia 5800 model. In that two messages got failed while sending and stored in Outbox. I tried to delete those two messages. But the status of those two msgs has been changed to 'Deferred' and are not getting deleted. I restarted the mobile, but again its there in the Outbox. I tried PC Suite to delete those messages. But those messages are not getting listed in the PC Suite. Kindly Suggest some solution for this problem
View 15 Replies View Related1) When sending text messages the messages go through but some remain in the outbox. They are actually sent, and not waiting for resend. The only option when selecting them is to delete, which removes them from the conversation threads. It doesn't seem to be related to service, but to whether I am using the phone for any other purpose at the time.
2) When connected to a car BT system, shut off car, BT seems to go into a black hole. You can't reconnect, can't make a call (well, it makes a call, but you can't hear anything; can't play music, etc.). The only solution is reboot. This happens with multiple systems in different brands of auto, so not limited to one brnad.
What does that red triangle symbol thing mean? Its always there whenever I'm talking to this particular person.

The symbol appeared when I texted a friend who recently moved to China. He still has his same American Blackberry but no data plan, hence no BMMing, but his messages still appear in my BBM chat list with the same symbol. The conversation shows up under in my text messages like it normally would as well. What does this symbol mean? Does it have anything to do with him leaving the country/deactivating his data plan?

i charged my iphone overnight and it is turned off. i noticed for the past few days that the plug symbol when an iphone is fully charged never appears. the iphone seems to be still charging. but when i turn on my phone it says that it is 100% charged. why wouldnt the charging symbol change into the full plug symbol when fully charged?

View 5 Replies View Relatedi've had my blackberry for 5 months now and bbm has always worked fine up until the other day, it randomly stopped sending messages, it will send one every now and then but usually just shows the clock icon for hours, I tried deleting bbm from the core applications and re-installing it but i'm still having the exact same problem but now i can't see anyones display pictures. I can still recieve messages fine though
