I've just upgraded from OS-5 to OS-6 (6.0.0.546) on my BB9700, while finding my around I clicked Menu>Hide and have hidden my Contacts icon.Now I can't find how to 'Unhide' it so I can get it back onto the home page.I can find the 'Greyed' out contacts icon and think I should be able to Press Menu and see the 'Unhide' option but it's not there

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9000 that keeps going to contacts no matter what icon I click on.I tried upgrading the OS and the phone worked fine for about an hour and then went straight back to only going to contacts. The same thing happens when I downgrade.I am unable to make calls or do anything from the contacts list. The phone is basically unusable.
I have tried the upgrade and battery pull and restore from back up.Does anyone have any suggestions of what this could be and how to fix it.

My cell phone contacts are gone when I select the contacts icon. When I select my call log I can see them. My email contacts seem to all still be there. My cell phone contacts are the ones missing. I have gone to Verizon for help and they said it is a Blackberry issue. Please help.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am unable to open my contacts icon after sending it to the service centre. My software was recently reloaded after error 102. All else is fine only the contacts folder is not opening on home screen.
I have somehow lost the icon for "contacts". My contacts are still there, I can find them by searching but don't have an icon on my home page (or anywhere else) to click on to add new contacts or find old ones. Can anyone advise what I've done? I've tried synching with my laptop but that hasn't brought the icon back, and I've powered off. I backed up to the cloud earlier but am a bit bothered about trying a full restore! Besides, the contacts icon was missing when I last backed up, so it probably wouldn't come back anyway!

I can search for names in messaging and everyone from my phone contacts, to my facebook friends and even Fearne cotton from twitter is there! All I have is a phone icon that is for Visual Voice Mail, which I am not signed up for and don't want to be. When I click the VVM icon it says do you want to sign up and I hit No and it just kicks me back to the main screen. How can I get rid of the Visual VM icon and get the Call log icon?
