I downloaded BB OS 5.0 for BB Bold 9000 for Zain-Kuwait Operator from Blackberry official site as I need Arabic support in it then I installed the exe file. Deleted the Vendor.xml from C:Program FilesCommon FilesResearch In MotionAppLoader and Started the Loader from the same folder above but it refuse to update to the 5.0 and if i clicked Browse and selected Blackberry.alx from the new software folder in C:Program FilesCommon FilesResearch In MotionSharedLoader Files9000M_v5.0.0.464_P5.2.0.41. It tells me This Apllication is not compatible with your device and cannot be loaded.

May 20, 2010I'm having a problem when trying to update my Nokia 5230 using the Nokia Suite.Please note; my phone is plugged in, there is an update for my phone as the last time it was updated was when it made manufactured (nov 09). The USB mode is on 'PC suite'. I have downloaded all the latest versions of the Nokia Suite.
When I click 'Update Phone Software", it takes me to the updater. When it comes to the 'Searching for a connected device', it hands for about 1-2 minutes, then says "Unable to find device".

The podcasting app from URL...doesn't want to install on my E70; it objects with "Expired certificate".I've tried with the certificate verification both enabled & disabled in the Installer plus also allowing unsigned apps to install.This is the only app that won't install on my device - I have a dozen others including Opera, Google Maps and all the std Nokia ones like SMS Accelerator & Zip Manager.
Is this really a certificate issue or does my E70 have it's knickers in a twist? If it's a question of getting an updated cert' then how do I do this?If someone from Nokia is able to respond that'd be great - perhaps they can vouch for the following app: URL...

8. No actions are required

I tried to do all this with internet and Ethernet cable unplugged, no change.

Nov 13, 2010Few days back I message poped up on my X10i phone that new software available. I check it on SUES and it said new software 2.1 is awailable. So I started download with SUES........files downloaded and installation started on but just after around 2% installation it stopped and an error message came up that " Installation was not successful. Please check your phone battery, make sure that it is atleast 50% charged and try again" and then when i boot my phone it just give the exclaimation mark on the start and hangs there. Although the battery was already charged to 100%.

BB Software :: Unable To Install For 9300?
Aug 16, 2011bought 9300 handset only to upgrade from my 8520. soon as i plugged in and went to desktop software it said phone has upgrade device software available. says currently has 6.0.0.546 and 6.0.0.600 is available. so i follow the steps just like ive done previously on old 8520 to install new software. gets to back up and then says " error occured while downloading software for device,please verify internet connection and try later". so i go to blackberry site and click the device upgrade button. says phone has 6.6.0.207, and 6.6.0.223 is available. so i follow procedure exactly as is written on this support forum for upgrading, which is exactly how i did it anyway. gets part way through the upgrade and then says exactly what error message there was before. What am i doing wrong? desktop and bb site say upgrade is there but both methods fail every single time?

Once i follow the steps provided and get to the 'Phone Software Update' window, with the four steps (Start, Prepare, Update, Finish) I'm stranded at step 2. The whole 'unplug the USB from the phone and computer' steps are proving useless, nothing is happening. I've tried seven times with intervals, and many reboots of my phone, none of which have proved successful. Anyone able to tell me what i may be doing wrong or is there a current problem installing the software for everyone?

Feb 24, 2010I bought a new E55 unlocked.I have a problem with it, i am only able to install j2me but cant install any sisx apps.ive tried downloading new ones e.g. from www.fring.com for my OS directly on the phone and also gmaps, stright from the phone browser but all in vain it gives an error "Unable to install" i checked the settings in App manager and set it to all software installation and online check is desabled, tried to install again, no victory, same error. tried to update firmware to this new version from pc, it failed, halted the ongoing update then tried OTA , it succeeded but the version it updated it to is 022.009 and not the latest tried software installation again, got the same error my mind is boggled as to what is going on any ideas guys.Ps: i went into *#0000# and then into options and update still gets the 022.009 version my variant is "asia pacific" region.
