Jul 22, 2010Hey,I have a question for turning off a mobile network,because I'm going on a holydays in the other country,and I want to turn off every connection to a network,don't want to recieve any e-mail,any updates from internet.I don't want to get to pay too much.If I will use internet in the other country,I will have to pay a lot,and that's what I don't want to.So how can I disable getting e-mail,or internet acces?

May 21, 2012I went out last night, kept my iPhone in my bra (maybe this is an important detail? idk) and when I got in the car my iPhone screen wasn't coming on for a while. It finally came on and the apple sign was there then it turned off. I tried again a few minutes later and it was on, the battery at 81% but I couldn't slide to unlock it and I couldn't lock it again, the screeen was just on and unresponsive. Now it's just not responding at all and it won't charge (i tried 2 different USB cables) and it won't connect to the computer.

Nov 6, 2011I have a problem with the internet on my Bold 9900. When I'm on internet with Wifi there's no problem. When I'm on internet via my mobile network, Facebook & the browser can't connect. Blackberry Apps World & Amazon haven't got this problem. I have already went to my provider (Proximus) and they said my internet must work fine.

Jan 23, 2011Okay, so I have a blackberry bold 9700 smartphone (3G, Wifi) v5.0.0.422 (platform 5.1.0.121), i know i havent updated in a while.
It seems to be picking up Rogers network, when I am on the Telus network. It will not find the Telus network at all. I've tried pulling out my simcard, and resetting it. I've tried to manually select Telus, but it will not come up, it says: Mobile Network: *none* or Rogers.

But with "emailconnect" I get just 30MB per month! May be enough to push the emails, but not to surf or use some apps.
Is there any possibility, to use my "mobileconnect-option" (connecting by APN web.vodafone.de) instead of the emailconnect-option?

Dec 6, 2011I recently deactivated my Blackberry Bold 9000 (v4.6.0.304 operating system) from AT&T since I ported my cell phone number to US Cellular who had better coverage in my region. I'd like to continue using my Blackberry Bold 9000 as a free wi-fi only internet access device and install the Google Voice app so my kids could text message and make phone calls via the Google Voice app and phone's wi-fi connection. While my BB Bold is able to connect to our home wi-fi network like in the past it doesn't successfully connect to the internet and gives me the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later."
