IPhone :: Can't View Or Edit Contacts?
Jul 2, 2012i just inherited an iphone 3. when i got it i updated the software, but after the update it wont let me add, view, or edit my contacts. i was going to restore it but it says the contacts are being synced over the air so they wont save to my computer. im afraid if i restore it i will lose all my contacts. is there any way i can stop the over the air syncing? i already turned the wifi syncing off. i just want to make sure i dont lose my contacts. they are saved to my sim card but i cant import the contacts because it also wont let me view the mail, contacts part under settings.

Jan 4, 2010Every time I receive an Email through my yahoo account, I get a text message notification of the email as well. How do I make this stop?I don't text a lot so I don't have unlimited texts on my account. Kind of annoying to have to delete texts as well as the fact that it's eating my monthly text allotment. I have been through every options menu and have not located anything that addresses this.

I can change it from loud to normal to quiet etc,but when I go to advanced and press the BB button and get edit,nothing happens when I press on the edit! Same thing with making a new profile. So frustrated! I saw someone else also posted about this last year-so I also tried the battery pull and it didn't work!

This was really useful as I work in a noisy envirmonment. Can you do this on the Mini or do you have to keep looking at the phone to see if you have anything new - very sad. Also can you get a view only of new messages as currently I can see all including drafts so its tricky to know whats actually new incoming.

I was browsing through my pictures in the photo album and noticed the edit feature, I wasn't sure what the buttons at the bottom were for so I clicked the red circle and realized it is the red eye edit tool. But it took me to a full screen of the picture and tells me to click on the red eyes and to click twice to undo, but after lots of clicking I can't seem to get the screen to go back to my normal photo album. How do I close this feature? I can access my camera roll through the camera but not through the photo album. Even after hitting my home key and trying to get back in it still takes me to the picture that is in edit mode.

Sep 9, 2014For most apps such as Facebook, Facebook messenger, and what's app I leave all my notification settings turned off aside from the red bubble. I don't need any extra notification from these apps.
Recently everytime II open up any one of those apps I get a pop up of some sort within the app covering the whole screen telling me how to turn on all my notifications for the app and I have to "x" out of it everytime before I can get into the actual app. If I do what it says and turn on all the notifications it stops but I don't want all those notifications. Â
