Text icon disappear from home page and go to search menu and d ont know when I get a text so I have to check my contact one by one what a pain How do I fix that witout wipping every time
View 1 RepliesMy apps occasionall disappear from main home pages as well as from folders placed on home page but yet they are all still loaded on phone.Has happened numerous times for same apps and most apps are stored on SD card.Running latest gingerbread version 2.3.3. This has happened before on version 2.2.

I have a Storm 9530. I have 3G coverage in my area, but my network connection icon says 1XEV. I have a friend with a Storm 2 whose icon shows 3G. We have tried downloading the same web page at the same time and my download actually seemed a bit faster. Does anyone know why my icon does not show 3G?

My keypad and trackball do not work on the home page, except for the green phone, escape, red phone, convenience buttons, and the mute button. I can switch applications with the left convenience button, and all the buttons and trackball work on any other screen. It's not a password issue, and I don't think it's how the keypad lock works. My Torch 9800 has developed a weird problem with the text icon on the home screen. When I tap on it, my desktop messages open instead?it used to work fine when I first got the phone. The only way I can write a text is to select a contact from the contacts list and then select to send that person a text message. This all works but is a pain. I'm sure this is just finger trouble and a setting has been changed somewhere but where.

I slid the text size bar all the way to 450%, which enlarged the right screen, but didn't change my home screen as much. View 5 Replies View RelatedI use Sprint and everytime I miss a call the Messages icon appears and does not disappear until I open the messages folder and open the missed call message. This is incredibly annoying for me, as I usually just press the send key and see what calls I have missed. Doing this does not clear the messages icon or notification.
I really dont need missed calls sent to Messages, the only reason I ever use the Messages folder is to clear the icon from my screen.Can anyone help me either disable this icon or alter what is sent to Messages?
