I've had my blackberry bold 9790 for around 2 months now and have had no problems whatsoever with it, but the past couple of days the little black timer thing has been appearing more and more, and now it won't charge through my laptop or through the wall socket, it won't go past 2% and I've got no idea how to fix it, it never happened with my old bb, and charging this new one has been fine until now, help?

When the dock is powered off, nothing happens (screen stays off). Is there a way to start the widget clock mode manually -- I do not want to leave the Atrix charging all the time. I notice that there is an app to start the car dock view. Is there one to start the landscape clock widget? The Atrix is up to date running 2.3.4.

When I plug my iPhone 4 in to charge, either through the wall or plug the USB into the laptop, I'll get the same message, " Charging is not supported with this accessory". and it'll stop charging. I don't understand why. It'll work eventually but I have to pull it out and in a few times and not touch the phone until it's fully charged otherwise it'll stop charging and that message will pop up again.
I put my phone on charge last night and went to sleep. Woke up this morning and my phone was off! Dead! It didn't charge because this happened to it. I don't get what it is. Could it be I need a new charger? Because to be honest, the part that slides into the plug is bent a little and has rust and dirt inside it but I can't clean it because I can't get inside it. And the lead where the part is where you plug into the phone is a bit messed up but I haven't had a problem with it since 2 days ago.

I have had this iphone since it came out. It has been able to charge in the wall every time but when I tried to charge it this morning plugged it in the wall it did nothing. View 2 Replies View RelatedAbout 3 days ago, my Torch decided it no longer wants to work with ANY wall charger, or car charger for that matter. I have been using it just fine for the past 6 months, and charging it just about every night, topping it off for a fresh charge for the morning.
Now, NO wall chargers work, simply no response. The ONLY way I can charge is via the USB cable and my laptop. This is VERY annoying and no one at the AT&T store seems to know what's going on.
I've tried all kinds of battery pulls and reboots - even upgraded to the latest software, downgraded back - NOTHING seems to be working!
What is the solution to this problem? How can I get it to charge again in my wall and car chargers?

When I plug in the wall charger, the phone fails to recognize that I plugged it in. No charging message, no beep, nothing. It does charge with the USB cable when connected to the PC (for now).The cables are the ones that came with the phone. The USB port of the phone is fine. I tested the cable and it works properly.I think that the OS v5.0.0.438 is causing the phone not to recognize when it is connected to the wall.

I usually plug into a computer whenever I am at work or a lot of time at home, but I have recently discovered that I cant charge off my wall adapater anymore. I have tested multiple wall chargers, as well as multiple cables, and while they all work on a computer USB port, and the chargers can charge all my other devices fine (including a HP Touchpad that has higher power reqs than the phone), the phone refuses to charge off the wall. I phoned Carphone warehouse for advise about the repair of the phone under the warranty and was told the charger socket is not covered under the Blackberry Manufacturers warranty and any problems with the socket are down to wear and tear, which I would have to pay £160 or more to have it repaired.I can not find any warranty information on the internet. Please can you advise if this is the case.The phone is only under a year old and I have never mistreated the phone charger socket therefore I do not understand how such an issue could occur, unless there is a fault with the phone? I also have a blackberry curve for work and had no problems with the charger socket.

If my Atrix 2 dies and I use to USB cable to connect it to my laptop, it will not charge or turn on. The notification light turns white and stays constant. If I plug it into the wall it charges so I know the phone is not broken. I have tried holding down the power button, power ad volume down, power and volume up, power and camera....If I plug it in while still alive and choose the USB function as "charge only" it will charge, but no other time. Does it always have to be "charge only"? I cannot charge and look at files at the same time?

The battry only gets charged when i connect it with the usb to the macbook. I bought a new wall charger, but the same problems remains. View 1 Replies View RelatedI plugged my phone in to charge, instead of the usual lightening bolt, a message came up saying my phone is not charging because of the charger etc etc. so I turned it off, and the usual yellow charging light was flashing. 5 hours later, the battery had gone up by one bar. I have tried charging it on the usb charger on the laptop + still no lightening bolt yet still the yellow flash when switched off. Am I right in thinking that it is the charging port on my phone that is faulty?

The chargers I tried with work perfectly with others iPhones. If it may help, my iPhone was dropped couple of times. Also from my observations, I think sometimes the iPhone might charge while it shows no charging.

just recently my Bold 9930 has had the habit of rebooting whenever I plug it into either my car outlet, or the charger that came with the phone. It doesn't happen all the time, but I'd say it happens about 25% of the time I go to plug the phone in.I'm running the highest official OS (7.1.0.580) on Verizon, and did not experience this issue with the previous OS. I didn't experience this issue right after I upgraded, it was about 3 weeks after that update came out, and nothing happened to the phone.
