I recently took over my office Bold 9000 for personal use. After some initial hassle, the vodafone shop managed to crack it open (metaphorically) for internet access and my AIM account, so I now get my emails. But I can't find any way to access my aol calendar. Have downloaded funambol but haven't found a way or running it on my handset , which has no discernible apps function.

My other organizer files synch okay. I am able to make calendar entries on my device and on Outlook but unable to synch calendars. I tried everything I could think of.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm using Outlook 2003 to sync with my BB Bold 9000 (OS v4.6.0.303). No matter what I do, when I sync the first round of results will show that most of my Outlook entries will be deleted. When I then choose Resync it does the sync correctly. I have deleted my BB calander and resynced by xferring all Outlook items to the device - sync again and the same problem occurs. All I want to do is a simple sync of all items both ways but somehow I cannot get it right. Any advise? Thx a lot

So I sync with my PC via USB cable. Everything seems to be working fine, apart from the calendar. It appears to sync, asks me to accept changes, which I do, but the new entries do not appear in my Outlook calendar. Am I missing something simple?

I have multiple email address set up on my BB, and then use the BB calendar to keep all of these different calendars in one spot. It also allows me to have a color coded system in my calendar (work is one color, personal is one, etc), see the picture.This is probably the place where I'm different than others, I started keeping it on the BB before setting up my outlook calendar, yahoo calendar, or either of my google calendars. Is there a way to sync from the phone to the other calendars without ending up deleting my BB calendar inputs or ending up with duplicates or ending up with all of the events under one calendar.I hope that makes sense. I'm using BIS and OS 4.6.0.304 if that matters.

the only options are showing only the following:

the email account is already defined as the default account for calendar (CICAL)!! My colleauge have 9790 using the same server, and the same setting, and the calendar is sync properly through wireless. I tried sync throug bb Desktop Manager, it worked. I dont have BES, so I set up my Microsoft Exchange email as internet based account. the emails are being sync properly between handheld and the server.
My bb calendar has been deleting events recently, I will add them to the calendar and it will be there for a few days. After a couple of days, I will go back and check it, when I go to check it, amazingly it is gone. I do sync with google calendar using googlesync, but the entries are on the google calendar, just not on the bb calendar. I am using 5.xx411 vodafone release.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have seen the previous posts but I don't use outlook. Here is the situation,I have one calendar that I use and sync it with googlesync to my google calendar. I can add an event, save it and it shows on the phone. When gsync refreshes it will send it to the phone, but after about 45 mins to an hour the event is gone from my bb calendar but is still on google calendar.Anybody else having this issue, and please if any suggestions please let me know. here is my specs.

I'm using the Bold 9000 with ATT's latest OS, 4.6x. Twice in the last 2 weeks all of my past calendar items - over 1000 - were deleted on my Blackberry. Both times I discovered this when I started a synch with Outlook on my laptop and BB Desktop Software wanted to delete all 1000+ past appts. from Outlook. That would have been a disaster.
This has never happened before and I haven't changed any settings. Calendar is still set to keep all appointments forever.
Is there somewhere else in my Blackberry settings I should be looking to find the source of this problem?
I accidentally synced with 'overwrite' clicked. I thought it would 'overwrite' all entries, but instead, it added all the entries so all of my entries are listed twice. How can I clear all of the entries on the blackberry bold and then resync with my computer to restore them?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI performed a Sync using Blackberry Desktop and now the Bold 9000 is "dead". The battery was fully charged prior to the sync and the unit was working properly. Following the sync the unit display went blank and the unit will not turn on. I have removed the battery and replaced it with another known fully charged battery and I stll cannot get a system boot sequence to start. I have attempted to re-insert the sync cable and connect to the computer but the unit is still dead.I have also tried the charging cable but to no avail.

Is there a setting I am missing somewhere? I would like to see the messages as read on my BB so I don't have to keep opening emails that I have already read.

My Blackberry has worked fine for 13 months. Today I looked up a contact in Outlook on my laptop and I only had 11 instead of the 1200+ I used to have. I still have all the contacts on my device. When I synced my device with my laptop it only synced those 11 contacts. I can't get the other 1200+ into Outlook on my computer. Help!
View 9 Replies View RelatedAm facing a peculiar problem with my Blackberry Calendars.A brief background of the situation : I have 3 email ids synced to my Blackberry Bold 9000 (OS 5.0.0.681). However, none of the emails have any calendars associated with them. I sync my Address Book & Calendar entries through Outlook 2010. At this stage, there are 197 entries in the Calendar, all marked in Blue. Default Services does not show an CICAL option. Neither is there any CICAL in the Service Book.When I install the Facebook app (1.8 or above), all calendar entries get marked in Red and named as Facebook. Default Services starts showing a CICAL option with only one entry "Facebook". A Facebook CICAL is added to the Service Book. There is no option or entry for any other Calendar.
The problem is that all the entries under Facebook are the same 197 as the Outlook entries. No entries from my Facebook account are added to the device. So it is as if the Outlook Calendar has been renamed as Facebook Calendar without any Facebook entries being added to the database. The entries are not duplicated under Facebook. Just that original Outlook Calendar has now become the Facebook Calendar.I would like to have both these Calendar entries (Outlook & Facebook) on the device as many of my business associates / clients etc are on my Facebook profile and i would like some reminder of their bdays etc too.Things that I have tried so far to rectify this are as follows. Each process has been repeated multiple times with no change in results:
1) Re-set up the Facebook Calendar Entries association in the Facebook App > Options
2) Deleted Facebook CICAL from Service Book and then re-associated the App as above
3) Re-installed the Facebook app after deleting the Facebook CICAL.
I downloaded Desktop Manager version 6 per a prompt from version 5 to update my software. Now everytime I sync my BB, it erases my wallpaper and sets it to the default. Totally irritating!My phone is a 9000 Blackberry Bold, my service provider is AT&T.

I don't know if any of those changes caused the problem.The first time I attempted to sync the calendar following the above changes I received an Intellisync message "Connection to Yahoo server lost". I seem to recall that this occurred once before on another Blackberry model that I owned but can't recall how I resolved it.
