I recently upgraded from my 9300 to a bold 9780 and my e-mails are not activating on my new device. I canelled ... what i think i needed to on the 9300 but my e-mail still displays on the display of the 9300 and the transfer to the 9780 just not happening. I had some colleagues look at it as well and we cant seem to get it to work.

I am a vodafone greece consumer with a full 12 monts programme for my bb.when i got the bb the bbm and email didnt work. i was only able to make my profile for bbm and for the mail it doesnt have the option for a personal email account only the enterprise.I went to the vodafone store and i asked about the bbm internet service. They opened that for me and i have BIS too. i thought that would solve my problems but nothing. Still nothing works. I register the GPRS bla bla bla many times. I receive a msg that tells me that im registered to tte wifi network but nothing again. Ofcourse i made the batt trick many times.

And the number is not ascociated with any BES service.The services entry show no indication in that direction.Moreover, the SIM card config show that everything is disabled. Meaning that the phone is unlocked. At least that is my understanding.However, even after a wipe, the BB device does not allow me to configure an e-mail account as described in the manual. It keeps on asking for a BES activation first
View 9 Replies View RelatedI am new to this forum. I have a Bold 9700. Ever since Aug 7th (today is the 11th), I have been receiving the same 4 or 5 emails over and over and over on my Blackberry. I deleted them on both the handheld and email...that didn't work, I opened them, then deleted them, that didn't work. The emails are not on my server, I do not get them in my email inbox on the computer, yet probably 6 ot 7 times a day, I get those same emails over and over and it won't stop.

This is really bothering me.I have a yahoo mail account set up on my phone - It has been on there for over a year - it has always worked this way - If I get an email (the phone goes "bing") and i read it on the computer - and responded and delete it on the computer it would be removed from the phone the next time i looked. Recently I began noticing that the message is not being delated from the phone if I delete it from the mailbox, and I can't figure out why.
Basically I want to be able to read the message on the computer and hit delete and for it do the same thing on my blackberry and vise versa. Now it seems to work if I delete the message on the BB then it will not be in the Mailbox on the computer.
i am using bb since 4 years. i now switched to bb bold 9700 which has wi-fi and 3g. i need help on following topics, sorry if this is repeat question but i searched all possible solutions on website but remained failed.
1. how to set up hotmail, yahoo mail, gmail accounts along with official company mails which is already set up. important is to received online mails the i am receiving official mails on company account, means it rings when a mail hits inbox, i want the same for hotmail, yahoo mail and gmail?
2. how to play Internet on it, when i click on any Internet video, it asked, do you want to switch to wap to stream the video, when i say yes, it gives error message, if i am on wi-fi connection, even then it does not play any video, simply gives error message.
I am trying to setup email on my Blackberry, when I load the link I get error: "The site cannot be accessed in this manner. Please use the URL or link provided to you by your service provider."

Doesn't matter if I take battery out, as soon as put it back in the screen re-appears. Power switch won't work. View 4 Replies View RelatedI purchased recently a second hand Blackberry Playbook and the first thing I did was a software update. After the update the device booted normally but it couldn't detect any of WiFi (802.11b/g) access points that I have home and in my work (3 different hotspots in total). I searched on the support site for the problem and I saw that some others have faced the same issue and they fix it by doing a full wipe out (factory reset). So I tried the same with no success, now my device boots and I am unable to complete the first registration that can only be done via WiFi. I also tried to re-update the device several times using the latest Desktop Software, but the result is always the same no Wifi detected.I contacted the Greek subsidiary of the store that the device purchased and they told me that I must contact with RIM central branch because the RIM support policy about this product (Playbook) is that customer gets support directly from them. The store that the Playbook originally purchased is Expansys France and I have scanned the invoice as evidence of legal purchase and valid warranty.Please advice me how can I get support for the product because I sent an email and the reply tells me that I need to submit BlackBerry inquiry via approved channel Blackberry Playbook wifi problem.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI don't know if it is because I have not got Contacts sync set up properly, or even whether these settings can be tweaked, but the synchronisation between the Contacts list on my BB9900 and Gmail Contacts for addresses (i.e. building addresses) completely screws up the field parsing!
For instance: I enter somebody's address on my BB, making use of the separate Address 1; Address 2; City; County/Region; Postcode; and Country fields as appropriate, then when I check back an hour later, the entire address has been moved into the Address 1 field (with the other fields empty), I presume as a result of Gmail Contacts syncing?
Note: I DO NOT use Google Sync; I just have the Contacts synchronisation option checked in Email Setup for my gmail address. I used to use Google Sync but I recently removed it from my previous handset (9700), as it used to duplicate/triplicate/n-tuplicate my Contacts and Calendar entries! Surely this isn't the way syncing is supposed to work? Is there a way of mapping the fields between BB device and Gmail Contact list, so that this doesn't happen?

When i plugged my blackberry into my PC it wanted to update the bundle/version of something on curve, everything was working fine until i updated this... (the bundle 6.0.2534 thing...) Now when I try to set up my e-mail it shows my 3 accounts i had linked with my blackberry a hotmail, a orange.blackberry, and a gmail) but when i type the password and click "verify" it shows "unable to continue session please log in again"I read online that it could be the version of email software I was running, so - i found the most current and i updated that, still; same problem. I've battery pulled, i've security wiped, i've done everything I can think of.
I have this second-hand BB storm my dad bought from Saudi and I'm from the Philippines. It's fairly new-ish. Here's the thing: I've looked through thousands of sites concerning voice mails on BB but mine just won't work. I've already set up my number, password (ppxxxx - is that correct?) and when I tried holding 1, it went to voice mail but the activation wouldn't come up, saying it's busy. I'm expecting the putting of greeting and such.
