I am new to this forum. I have a Bold 9700. Ever since Aug 7th (today is the 11th), I have been receiving the same 4 or 5 emails over and over and over on my Blackberry. I deleted them on both the handheld and email...that didn't work, I opened them, then deleted them, that didn't work. The emails are not on my server, I do not get them in my email inbox on the computer, yet probably 6 ot 7 times a day, I get those same emails over and over and it won't stop.
I just got a BlackBerry 9780, and I had been using the BBM for only a couple days and it seemed fine. All of a sudden the messages I was sending no longer had a D above the tick mark, and I haven't been able to get one to go through, nor has anyone responded to my messages.
the other day I was trying to stop some junk mail from being delivered to my phone, so I was "unsubscribing" to things on my BB. Now, this may not have anything to do with my problem, but it all started here. These are the issues. Can't get on any websites?a worm has gone through my hotmail account and everyone is getting "emails" from me with a link that I did not send. So, I keep getting mailer daemons. I have changed my hotmail password and also deleted everyone from my contacts on hotmail on my PC. I NEVER attach my BB to my PC so.... where is this worm coming from? Does my BB have a virus or a worm? How do I get rid of it?My BB just reboots on its own.
I have an iPhone 4s and I sync my email from an exchange server. I have mail that is delivered to sub-folders in my inbox but these emails do not appear on my phone but I can browse to the folders and see the emails. Is there for these emails to appear in inbox on the phone.
This problem started today. All singular imessages are not responding in this way, so far only the group. After researching I have done the following so far and nothing is working.
1. Turn off/on the phone.
2. Checked for updates. (none)
3. Reset the factory settings.
4. Cleared and re-entered icloud name/password.
5. Turned off/on "group messaging", "mms", AND "sms" just to be sure.
6. Made sure "send/receive" has both icloud and cell number.
I just came home from an international trip and am wondering if some settings or restrictions may be limiting the group messages.
- Messages are not delivered (or they are delivered hours later)
- I sometimes don't receive messages (or I receive them hours later)
- I type in blue (so I think it's an iMessage) but then when I send it turns green.
You can't imagine the consequences of this and how it affected my relation with my girlfriend !!I switched it off and I don't care to find a solution (the same with iCloud).
since a few days I have a strange iMessage problem. When I write an iMessage to someone from my iPhone it shows up as not delivered after a few seconds, but the message does arrive at the recipient. If I look on my iPad the same message looks ok, it shows the delivered/read status perfectly normal. When I switch devices, the problem exists the other way around. I get the not delivered status on my iPad but the same message shows up OK on my iPhone. The problem exists on different WiFis and on the 3G network.I already tried to "reactive" the iMessage service on my iPhone but to no avail.
Is it possible for a text message to show "delivered" but actually not be delivered. I sent a text, received the "delivered" notation and the recipient is saying that they did not receive it.
When I send an imessage through my iphone it delivers and the other person receives it, but on my phone it says "Not Delivered". When the other person sends to me, it does the same. Here is what I have done so far:
Reboot the phone Reloaded the firmware Disabled/reenabled imessage. Turned off "Time Zone Support" iMessage works fine on my iPad, doesnt work at all on my Mac.
I'm trying to figure how-to configure and use e-mail without using BES.I checked with the local telco. And the number is not ascociated with any BES service. The services entry show no indication in that direction. Moreover, the SIM card config show that everything is disabled. Meaning that the phone is unlocked. At least that is my understanding. However, even after a wipe, the BB device does not allow me to configure an e-mail account as described in the manual. It keeps on asking for a BES activation first
When I dial voicemail by hitting #1 it begins to dial and then automatically a 3second pause kicks in...how do I get rid of that.I can't access my voice mail...because of it
Just bought a BB - I have tried 3 times now to retreive calls in my mail box - each time they ask me my password + reask to accept my name & message - then line goes numb with a buzz sound every second?
I recently upgraded from my 9300 to a bold 9780 and my e-mails are not activating on my new device. I canelled ... what i think i needed to on the 9300 but my e-mail still displays on the display of the 9300 and the transfer to the 9780 just not happening. I had some colleagues look at it as well and we cant seem to get it to work.
I recently sold my Nextel Blackberry Curve 8350i. It has been since disconnected and I have switched to another carrier. I have sold the phone but I don't know how to receive my e-mail accounts from my old Blackberry. Can anyone tell me how to delete them since it has already been disconnected from the network. Thank You.
Yesterday received notification of an update to internet mail account feature for managing email addresses.I proceeded with the update, it failed part way through, I'm not sure at what point.I now cannot access access the feature "internet mail account". I have the Bold 9780.
I am trying to setup email on my Blackberry, when I load the link I get error: "The site cannot be accessed in this manner. Please use the URL or link provided to you by your service provider."
So, I don't know how this works when you order the new iphone 4, but when you pickup at att or apple they will open the box for you and register everything for you at their office. So if it was delivered then do I just simply switch sim cards? My wife and I are both eligible for an upgrade. We both plan on upgrading to the iphone 4. My wife is currently using a BB with the BB unlimited data plan. Att says that you can keep your unlimited data even when upgrading, but is that for current iphone users? (Can she switch from BB unlimited data to iphone unlimited data?) My wife is not a big iphone fan and I'm scared she might not like it so I was wondering if I had to sell it will att allow her to switch back to her old BB or does she have to stick with it since she upgraded?
i have the exact problem. I have a 9800 , and my bbm messages are not being delivered, and only stays a tick...i tried the advice mentioned above, and the problem still persists.
My bbm has been acting up lately. It will be working fine, and then all of a sudden it just won't deliver any messages to a particular contact. I can received messages from them, it just won't deliver mine. This has happened to me twice now, to two different contacts, but I've had no problems with any other contacts. I've tried pulling my battery, backing up my phone, and deleting and then re-adding the contacts, but I'm still not having any luck.
I sent a couple of BBM messages, which were delivered (D) but the Read (R) wasn't showing. I then decided i did not want the receiver to read the messages, so cleared the chat. Was that enough to delete the message showing on the other end? I have now deleted the contact entirely and will ask them to join again. Was the message deleted fully with either of the two actions?
I recently got a new HTC Desire S from three, the GPS doesn't seem to be working properly at all, had complained to three and received a replacement, but still experiencing the same issue. tried GPS status, ... no GPS lock seems to be found.
I am having problems today with my 8520 Curve. I keep receiving a message from donotreply@blackberry.com informing me that my emails are not being delivered to my device. It goes on to tell me to turn on the IMAP setting for all mail on my email account and validate my account.Having checked, my IMAP settings are correct so I re-validated my Bkackberry and, for all intents & purposes the email account is now valid. However, I then shortly receive another message exactly the same from [URL]..I have gone round this cycle 3-4 times now but am still not receiving emails
Having issues with BBM - I'll send a message and it says it's delivered but until I restart my Torch it never gets received. All other apps are fine (Twitter, Facebook, Messages, etc.) - it's just BBM.
