I have before changed the personalized message at the end of my emails ("This message was sent from etc"). Now when I need to change it again, the menu in Email settings is not the same anymore and there is no option for this message. Why has it changed? change it back or how to change the message?
View 2 RepliesWhen I got the Droid 2.2, last November, I read over the setup instructions and was able to personalize the greeting on the opening screen. Now that I have changed a few things in my life, I would like to revise the opening greeting. I'm talking about the greeting that is on the unlock screen when you power up the droid. I have read extensively the setup instructions, the forums and such and cannot find the option I used to set it up originally. I thought it was in "settings/display" but the only settings there now are Brightness, Autorotate Screen, Animation, Screen Timeout, Wallpaper Settings and Roaming Banner.
Did an update wipeout my ability to change this greeting?

View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently went into the keyboard settings to clear the personalized data stored with the predictive text feature on the default Samsung keyboard. However, it appears that an update somewhere along the way moved the location to clear this personalized data.
I used to drill down in the language and input settings menu, into the Samsung keyboard options, and could enter into the "predictive text" menu. However, that menu has been replaced with a toggle switch that will simply turn predictive text on or off.
I have a new Samsung Galaxy S5. I have set personalized ringtones and personalized text message sounds for my friends and family. I know how to do that! The problem is, some of these don't "stick" and what I mean by that is, even though on the contact info it says that personalized ringtone or text sound is set, when I get a call, the default ringtone or message sound plays. And it's not consistent. Some personalized ones work, others don't. They all worked on my S4.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm guessing this is just a difference of network compared to Verizon....but then I had Verizon, I could get text messages from email addresses. For example, I had signed up for a service from Mosio that sends me my "daily fortune' every morning at 6am when I would wake up. On Verizon, the "From" would be an email address, so I would just add that in my contacts and when the message would come up it would read the name I entered under my contacts.
With AT&T, when an email is sent to my phone as a text message, I get this funny phone number that changes every time (meaning I can't add it to my contacts)Is there anyway to fix this, or is it a network problem?

The email says 'Here's a picture message you've been sent from <my phone number>. The message has no other content even though it is indicated that there is an attachment.
Is this a problem with my network provider or are there some settings which need changing?
