BB Bold 9700 :: Outlook 2010 Synchronization - Sync Process Ends With A Microsoft Outlook Connector Error Message : "No Available Message Stores"
Jul 20, 2010When will Blackberry Desktop Manager be able to sync with MS Outlook 2010? I spent Ģ100 on the latter yesterday after discovering that Windows Calendar can not be synchronised with my new Bold 9700: the sync process ends with a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error message: "No available message stores". Burrowing into Blackberry's on-line support, it seems the most likely cause is BDM - 5.0.1 - trying to connect to an unsupported version of Outlook. (Article ID KB15564).
The result is no contacts or diary on my expensive new smartphone, which is disappointing beyond belief, since Outlook 2007 etc. seems no longer available.

Mar 19, 2010I have a clean install Windows 7 Ultimate running Outlook, tried DM 5.0.1 and tried DM 4.6. I am not able to sync from the BB Device to Outlook, nor am I able to two way sync.

Sep 7, 2011I disconnected my old curve (which syncs perfectly with outlook), then I plug in the bold - it is recognized, but says I have to configure the synchronization. outlook is not even a choice - but it is a choice if I plug in my old curve again. this is ridiculous!

Now they no longer do - they show up as an email with an attachment called "application/X-rimdevicecalendar", and when trying to open the attachment, I get an error saying it can't be opened on the device.

Mar 10, 2010I'm using Outlook 2003 to sync with my BB Bold 9000 (OS v4.6.0.303). No matter what I do, when I sync the first round of results will show that most of my Outlook entries will be deleted. When I then choose Resync it does the sync correctly. I have deleted my BB calander and resynced by xferring all Outlook items to the device - sync again and the same problem occurs. All I want to do is a simple sync of all items both ways but somehow I cannot get it right. Any advise? Thx a lot

May 18, 2012It wiped my old calendar entries (even though I have "Keep Forever" selected on the options), but I need all the past calendar items because I used it for keeping track of meetings, events, etc.Short of reinstalling an old backup, copying into Outlook, and then re-installing my current version, is there any other way of getting that info out of the backup file and into Outlook. I really don't want to install a previous version of the backup onto my phone because when I do, it never carries over many of the phone ringing settings, etc. and it takes me forever to get things back to normal.(I am running an older version of the device software on my phone (5.0.0.714) because I can't stand the new version's calendar view.)

Jan 30, 2011I have added my work email address to my BB and the emails come through OK (although something odd happens, if I reply to an email from my work PC, the original email comes through again on my BB). But for some reason my outlook appointments in calendar have never come through at all. My workplace uses an outlook exchange system so we can access emails off site. I recently loaded Blackberry Desktop Manager onto my desktop to see if I could sync the emails manually. This worked OK - once. However, for some reason it doesn't want to sync anymore. I ended up with duplicates of the same appointment on my BB so deleted all calendar entries, now when I try to sync this way, nothing happens.

Jul 25, 2012Got a new Blackberry to use for both my personal and work e-mails. Previously work had supplied all Blackberrys but were moving to HTC, but as I am a luddite who prefers buttons, I opted out and to go it alone. Initially I managed to set up my outlook so that everything worked well - outlook mail, calander etc was synced, and updated regularly. I did thisvia the blackberry desktop, rather than the BES, as I knew this was being discontinued. Then I went on holiday last week, and while somewhere in Germany, my work mail stopped downloading (my personal mail carried on fine). Now I'm back, and it still won't work!
