First off, I have to say that this "support" forum is a very weird way of providing quick support to customers.
Anyway, I'm trying to sync my BB to my PC and I'm getting a "Connector Specific Error".When I look at the sync log, I get "Read-only database cannot be synchronized". I haven't changed any settings, and all of a sudden I get this error msg.
Recently I have been unable to sync my Blackberry calendar with my Outlook 2010 calendar. I am getting a message "calendar not installed" when I synch my organizer files. My other organizer files synch okay. I am able to make calendar entries on my device and on Outlook but unable to synch calendars. I tried everything I could think of.
The calendar is not syncing wireless with outlook 2010 calendar, I followed the instructions manual, but the option menu in calendar does not show any wireless sync option (tickmark)!
the only options are showing only the following:
- Calendar Display - Conference calling - Date & Time - Accounts: *email account1 *email account2 *email account3 #Appointment color #display reminder #number of entries
the email account is already defined as the default account for calendar (CICAL)!! My colleauge have 9790 using the same server, and the same setting, and the calendar is sync properly through wireless. I tried sync throug bb Desktop Manager, it worked. I dont have BES, so I set up my Microsoft Exchange email as internet based account. the emails are being sync properly between handheld and the server.
My BB desktop software is only allowing me to configure the calendar sync with one email account and not both. I have tried advanced setting and it doesn't seem to recognise any second outlook folder's calendar
Having problems syncing my Blackberry Calendar with Outlook??Steps taken thus far:Removed Blackberry Software and downloaded latest version Toggled on both two way sync for Blackberry to Outlook Calendar
Does not update Calendar from the blackberry to Outlook???
I only used Desktop manager to sync contacts. Now I want to sync calendar from BB to Outlook. I activated and set aparameters in desktop manager but There are no entries in my outlook calendar.
Up until recently, meeting invites that came in from colleagues (sent via Outlook 2010) always went directly to my calendar on the BB. Now they no longer do - they show up as an email with an attachment called "application/X-rimdevicecalendar", and when trying to open the attachment, I get an error saying it can't be opened on the device.
I'm using Outlook 2003 to sync with my BB Bold 9000 (OS v4.6.0.303). No matter what I do, when I sync the first round of results will show that most of my Outlook entries will be deleted. When I then choose Resync it does the sync correctly. I have deleted my BB calander and resynced by xferring all Outlook items to the device - sync again and the same problem occurs. All I want to do is a simple sync of all items both ways but somehow I cannot get it right. Any advise? Thx a lot
Just upgraded to latest OS. Now BB calendar does not update in Outlook. (although outlook does update on BB).also get error message "Connector specific error"
I am trying to sync my calendar and contacts with Microsoft Outlook. I go through the sync process and when I say okay it get the message "Microsoft Outlook is not installed on this system". Why is it not recognizing my Outlook program?
I have added my work email address to my BB and the emails come through OK (although something odd happens, if I reply to an email from my work PC, the original email comes through again on my BB). But for some reason my outlook appointments in calendar have never come through at all. My workplace uses an outlook exchange system so we can access emails off site. I recently loaded Blackberry Desktop Manager onto my desktop to see if I could sync the emails manually. This worked OK - once. However, for some reason it doesn't want to sync anymore. I ended up with duplicates of the same appointment on my BB so deleted all calendar entries, now when I try to sync this way, nothing happens.
Not sure what is happening and I am no Outlook expert but doing a sync using the DW with Outlook and all of the organizer data moves except the majority of the calendar data. Only 6-8 items from my 9700 calendar are moved to Outlook. It is like it does not "see" the others.Anyone got any insight on this?
Running Vista and using Outlook 97. Used to only be able to sync tasks and memos. Problem in syncing contacts was described in error message that adress book was configured to sync wirelessly. After making sure I'd changed the settings still had problem. The problem with the address book and task non-sync seems to have been fixed after upgrade to newest BB Desktop. However, my device calendar still does not sync with my Outlook.
I used to be able to sync my calendar from outlook to my Bold no problem. Now, the sync routine within the Blackberry Desktop application just skips calendar sync completely, nothing in the log file, just gives a little beep. Tasks, contacts, memo all sync fine. I have updated all device SW (5.0.0) and desktop versions. I have done hard resets, combined all calendars to one, etc.
I have just switched from a Windows Mobile phone to a BB 9000. I live in Cyprus and have subscribed to the local BIS service offered here. So I sync with my PC via USB cable. Everything seems to be working fine, apart from the calendar. It appears to sync, asks me to accept changes, which I do, but the new entries do not appear in my Outlook calendar. Am I missing something simple?
I'm using bold 9700, I have about 6000 entries of calendar on my device as well as outlook. My device sync both ways. All of a sudden I find no past entries left out on my device nor on my outlook calendar. The future entries are retained.
I used to have a nice sync to my outlook calendar with old OS 5. Not sure if problem related to 6.0 or not but now can't sync my calendar at all. Getting Intellisync Error Code 0x83860028.I redone the settings several times, won't sync either way BB to PC and PC to BB?
I am trying to sync my bold 9000 with my calender and contacts in outlook, had success with the calender but contacts don't show up in the address book. The heading in the address book is business-is that my problem or are the contacts located somewhere else.
I just got a new crackberry and found out that I can't sync with my work outlook email and calendar b/c it's on an exchange server. Is there a way around this?
I just recently changed my phone from Bold 9000 to Bold 9700. Using Desktop Manager 5.0.1.37 and on Vista sp2 and Outlook 2007. I used to be able to sync perfectly ok with my Bold 9000, and since I changed my phone to Bold 9700, it wont sync my calendar - as if it skips the calendar completely. I've tried a number of suggestions from this forum including deleting the intellisync folder and resetting the sync setup, hard resetting the phone, and nothing works. I'm running out of ideas.
Following some changes to my Outlook configuration, which included changing the mail profile in use, I am now unable to sync Outlook Notes to my Nokia phone. After running a sync operation, the Ovi GUI shows the sync sucessfully completing but the updates to the notes are not made. Checking the sync application log (PC Suite profile) on the phone (UK Voda E71) via Bluetooth, it does not show any attempt to sync with the phone; The log is not even updated. My hunch is that I need to correct the Outlook folder location that Ovi finds the notes in. Can anybody advise how I might do that?
New here and a tad bit upset with my failure to synch the address book. I had it in originally, I used a 'skype out' product to export skype contacts to Outlook, then I usefully synced to Outlook, but had a bunch of repeated addresses. Found a solution to delete address book and to reimport from Outlook. Successfully deleted address book on BB. Tires to sync but now it fails to do so. I have reinstall 1, battery, 2, SIM card, 3 desktop program. The synch starts - to be certain- I even go so far as the option to approve the sync or snot. Then it begins to do the syncing and the countdown of addresses yet to by synced clicks downward, as it should, then there's a 'bink' sound, and then nothing, and I check my BB, and no addresses have moved over. I have tried SEVRAL TIMES even 'syncing all' I have arranged for the synch to be for the addresses only. I have arranged for it to be from the computer to the BB. Hopeless. Extremely frustrated.
Samsung SGH-t749 using New PC Studio ver. 1.2.0 IEC. When I try to sync Outlook Calendar with the phone calendar it runs out of memory. I don't know if it is using the internal mem., but I don't see a way to direct it to use the SD card. It also mentions that it is getting email info from Outlook. Does this mean that it is also syncing the address book? I only want to keep the calendar on the phone synced. Anyone have any input?
I get a message telling me to send a log to Blackberry support (Synchronisation error. A program error occurred at line 140 in .Error.cpp. report this error by sending a log to technical support) when the calendar sync fails (using latest software). Only problem is, I can find no way of doing this from the support pages.
I am using Nokia X6-00 16GB version in India and started using Outlook recently. Recently i got some meeting requests in my mail and they are present n Outlook calendar. I want them to be syncronised to my Phone's calendar.
My phone's calendar events are going into Outlook but not the other way...

sync my Outlook Calender with my Torch wirelessly. I set up my Outlook Exchange E-mail successfully (though it would be nice if I could move e-mails to Outlook folders as well).
How do I sync Torch Calendar with my Outlook Calendar wirelessly?
I use a Mac laptop at home (older one with Tiger OS) , and PC at work. I do not want to share home info with the work PC but would like to be able to sync my work outlook calendar to my iphone 6.I also do not want my work email on my iphone. Of course the IT guys at work don't like Macs and say this can't be done.Â
