I get a message telling me to send a log to Blackberry support (Synchronisation error. A program error occurred at line 140 in .Error.cpp. report this error by sending a log to technical support) when the calendar sync fails (using latest software). Only problem is, I can find no way of doing this from the support pages.

Anyway, I'm trying to sync my BB to my PC and I'm getting a "Connector Specific Error".When I look at the sync log, I get "Read-only database cannot be synchronized". I haven't changed any settings, and all of a sudden I get this error msg.
I have a new curve (8530) and my carrier is Verizon. My curve was syncing with my Yahoo calendar in December without any issues. Since January it no longer syncs. My memo pad syncs, but not the calendar. I do not have Outlook on my computer, so Yahoo is my only choice of calendar. I spoke to Verizon tech support for 2 hours and we tried everything. I uninstalled and reinstalled Desktop manager, but that didn't help either.

It syncs the address book, tasks and memos fine, but totally skips over the calendar. I have seen several suggestions on here and tried them but still doesn't workt says on the BB desktop software that my BB doesn't have a calendar installed but it does and it works fine on the device it just won' sync. There are 2 calendars on the device Facebook (which if I knew how I would delete) and my email address

I have the device connected to my pc with the BB Desktop Manager.In Organizer I have selected it to reconcile between Outlook and my device.
I recently added my personal email to my blackberry. It is a @gmail.com address. My calendar also synced with the Google calendar, which I did not want it to do. I normally sync my calendar with Outlook on my desktop. I went to sync with Outlook today and none of my calendar entries are syncing. If on look on my device all of the entries are marked as being xxx@gmail.com entries. How can I change all of these entries back to sync with Outlook instead?

I used to use google synch, but this no longer works & they have stopped supporting it for blackberry, so no help there. Reading through many forums I saw that I could use BIS to do this. Everytime I add another email it gives me a prompt that it already exists.The other issue that may be causing the problem is I have a pay ahead plan without the blackberry plan which basically does everything but I can't email, I can read them can't reply. I am using the Blackberry Curve 9300 and I am also currently using the Yahoo Calendar and Google Calendar for separate uses. I find that I am not able to sync my Blackberry Curve 9300 to either of these Calendar.

I got a BB plan activated with my provider (Airtel - www.airtel.in ) and got it to sync my work email, contacts and calendar using the BIS site. My employer uses Google Apps Premier Edition, so it was a rather painless process.Afterwards, I upgraded the device to OS6. Once the upgrade was complete, my emails started syncing automatically - nothing really needed from my side. But the Calendar and Contacts do not sync any more. I can see that the checkboxes for Calendar and Contacts are enabled both on the BIS site as well as the device, but they simply do not sync.

I uploaded an update of the Facebook App, now all of my entries are gone in the calendar that were in sync with my gmail address. I have the 8350 model and prior to this all calendar entries were saved to my email for gmail- this gmail option has disappeared in the CICAL drop down the only option available is Facebook. I tried to uninstall the Facebook App however that leaves no option for Default Service for the calendar, so the option for default service for my calendar is completely removed.How can I go back to the original settings for my calendar and is it possible to retrieve prior/future entries from the now blank calendar?

I accepted the prompt to upgrade to OS6 and now it fails as soon as it tries to sync. We don't have an Enterprise server. Do I have to downgrade the OS to v 5 again (how do I do this?)

If it turn off the calander sync option then I have no problem with the contacts sync.I have been searching forums for this error and I found 1 that referenced the fact that if I had put any attachments in the Outlook calander such as meeting notes or PDF's that the Blueberry wouldn't sync.
