I disconnected my old curve (which syncs perfectly with outlook), then I plug in the bold - it is recognized, but says I have to configure the synchronization. outlook is not even a choice - but it is a choice if I plug in my old curve again. this is ridiculous!
I managed to delete current address book from bb bold 9930. And I can sync addresses from outlook back to device. But the addresses don't appear on the device.
I recently updated my bb to bold 9930. When I synch the new bb with my outlook address book on my home computer it does not update the deletions, but adds the changes -- so I have a longer address book yet again.
I think that I need to delete the current address book on the bb bold, and then add the revised outlook address book to the bb bold. In essence, overwriting the current address book on the bb bold.
How do I delete the current address book on the bb bold 9930?
I get new phone restored and try using BB desktop to sync my Outlook contact list with phone. It wants to errase all contacts and then add all of them back in each time. Also get an error at the end of sync "During sync, some of the records were invalid. The following 1 records were skipped:Address Book: Device - 0Microsoft Outlook - 1 Do you want to view the sync log for more details Yes / No" Never did this with last phone.
Just bought a Bold 9930 and also a MacBook. Now, my question is if I can sync my phone (addresses, documents etc) both when I am using my MacBook (when travelling) and at home with my PC?
I own a Bold 9930.I've noticed that my device doesn't completely sync with Yahoo email. If I read an email on my device, it is marked as read on Yahoo. However, if I read the email on Yahoo, it doesn't sync with the device - the device copy of the email is never marked as read.I used to have full 2-way sync.I contacted Yahoo, and was advised by Yahoo support that 2-way email sync between my device and Yahoo is not possible.
When will Blackberry Desktop Manager be able to sync with MS Outlook 2010? I spent Ģ100 on the latter yesterday after discovering that Windows Calendar can not be synchronised with my new Bold 9700: the sync process ends with a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error message: "No available message stores". Burrowing into Blackberry's on-line support, it seems the most likely cause is BDM - 5.0.1 - trying to connect to an unsupported version of Outlook. (Article ID KB15564).
The result is no contacts or diary on my expensive new smartphone, which is disappointing beyond belief, since Outlook 2007 etc. seems no longer available.
After downloading software upgrade cannot sync my Bold 9700 with Outlook. Error message is "MAPI Login failed -run Outlook with the profile "Outlook" selected and try again".
I have a clean install Windows 7 Ultimate running Outlook, tried DM 5.0.1 and tried DM 4.6. I am not able to sync from the BB Device to Outlook, nor am I able to two way sync.
My BB desktop software is only allowing me to configure the calendar sync with one email account and not both. I have tried advanced setting and it doesn't seem to recognise any second outlook folder's calendar
I had bought a Blackberry Bold 9900 two weeks ago. Yesterday, the phone refused to turn on after a full night's charge. Tried reinstalling the OS and backup, but nothing worked. Since its under warranty, gave it back to the dealer. All my contacts were in the phone. I have a backup of it.Is it possible to retrieve the contacts from the backup to MS Outlook? (outlook 2007)
I just switched from a PC to Mac Air and downloaded BB Desktop to my Mac so that I can sync contacts, calendar etc. What happens is that it automatically syncs to Apple and not to Outlook and there is nowhere I can change the settings. I lost all my info on the BB so had to sync with my old PC again..

I want to sync my BB Bold 9650 with MS Outlook 2010. I do not want to use the BB calendar, contacts, etc.,instead just want to use Outlook contacts, calendar, email and tasks. I just can't find any clear directions to get this accomplished.
Up until recently, meeting invites that came in from colleagues (sent via Outlook 2010) always went directly to my calendar on the BB. Now they no longer do - they show up as an email with an attachment called "application/X-rimdevicecalendar", and when trying to open the attachment, I get an error saying it can't be opened on the device.
I am trying to sync my bold 9700 with Outlook 2010 calendar & contacts. When I start with the configuration, I can select outlook as an available desktop application, but once I select it and a two-way sync - then immediately, I get a message saying "the operation terminated unexpectedly". I have tried restarting both my cpu and blackberry
I just tried to sync my contacts with outlook 2010 but I get an error message saying that Outlook 2010 64 bit has been detected? Anyway to make this work? Please don't tell me to install the 32 bit version of Office as I have a 64 bit CPU and Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Since I've installed Windows 7 Home Premium (32bit), I've been trying to Sync with Microsoft Office 2010, but when I go to set up the sync, it can't find Outlook - only Yahoo.I've tried re-installing DM, which I do have the latest version available on their site, but I still encounter this issue. I'm running version 5.0.0.602 on my 9700.
BB Bold 9700 TMobile V5.0.0.586 (Platform 5.1.0.146 Free Space 115.8Mb I use Windows vista and outlook 7. My BBDTM is version 5.0.1.37. Every time I try to synchronize, I get the error message: During synchronization, some the records were invalid. The following 2 records were skipped: Address Book: Device - 0, Microsoft Outlook - 2 Do you want to view the synchronization log for more detail? The sync stops and does not sync all my contact info to my Blackberry.
I just bought the Bold 9700 (May 5th, 2010) and have Outlook 2007 and running BB Desktop 5.0.1. How do I sync my sub-folders in Contacts, Tasks, and Notes with my BB Bold 9700?
I'm using Outlook 2003 to sync with my BB Bold 9000 (OS v4.6.0.303). No matter what I do, when I sync the first round of results will show that most of my Outlook entries will be deleted. When I then choose Resync it does the sync correctly. I have deleted my BB calander and resynced by xferring all Outlook items to the device - sync again and the same problem occurs. All I want to do is a simple sync of all items both ways but somehow I cannot get it right. Any advise? Thx a lot
Just upgraded to latest OS. Now BB calendar does not update in Outlook. (although outlook does update on BB).also get error message "Connector specific error"
I am trying to sync my Bold 9700 with outlook contacts. I have been able to sync the calender and memo pad BUT only 71 of my 345 contacts. It stops at 71 with a big red cross and gives me an error message 0x80040f63. My previous Blackberry sync was fine and I have downloaded version 5 of Blackberry Manager so it seems all up to date
I am trying to sync my calendar and contacts with Microsoft Outlook. I go through the sync process and when I say okay it get the message "Microsoft Outlook is not installed on this system". Why is it not recognizing my Outlook program?
It wiped my old calendar entries (even though I have "Keep Forever" selected on the options), but I need all the past calendar items because I used it for keeping track of meetings, events, etc.Short of reinstalling an old backup, copying into Outlook, and then re-installing my current version, is there any other way of getting that info out of the backup file and into Outlook. I really don't want to install a previous version of the backup onto my phone because when I do, it never carries over many of the phone ringing settings, etc. and it takes me forever to get things back to normal.(I am running an older version of the device software on my phone (5.0.0.714) because I can't stand the new version's calendar view.)
I have added my work email address to my BB and the emails come through OK (although something odd happens, if I reply to an email from my work PC, the original email comes through again on my BB). But for some reason my outlook appointments in calendar have never come through at all. My workplace uses an outlook exchange system so we can access emails off site. I recently loaded Blackberry Desktop Manager onto my desktop to see if I could sync the emails manually. This worked OK - once. However, for some reason it doesn't want to sync anymore. I ended up with duplicates of the same appointment on my BB so deleted all calendar entries, now when I try to sync this way, nothing happens.
