View 5 Replies View Relatedtoday I bought a Blackberry Bold 9900. I had a bold 9700. I was very surprised for the very very bad camera. It has not the autofocus. I cannot scan barcode. I think it's an big error/problem for this phone. It costs 600 euros, it costs like and iphone 4. I cannot scan document. The next time I will buy an Iphone. BB bold 9900 0 - Iphone 1. Iphone wins!!

View 3 Replies View RelatedFor some reason today when i opened up my camera to take a few shots it had problem auto focusing on items close to me, as you know when you tap the screen to focus on a point in the screen you get the circle and a small beep to let you know it's focusing ok, it seemed to have problems getting to this point and there was an audible high pitched buzzing or clicking sound coming from the lens itself and the screen image would not come into focus
the phone has not been dropped or roughly handled so i am 100% sure it's not an issue caused by being knocked, i have tried a reset and a reboot but the issue still remains, also i have done no recent updates and there are none showing so that's not the issue either
When trying to FaceTime with my iPhone 5, the rear camera continually moves from focus to out-of-focus. I'm FaceTiming with absolutely mad because the picture moves from blurry to clear almost constantly.
I had to replace my first iPhone 5 after only 15 months because the rear camera couldn't auto-focus anymore (a well-documented problem), and I had to pay for a replacement phone. Now after only 5 months with the replacement iPhone 5 I received from Apple it seems like I'm having more issues with the rear camera.
I seem to be having a problem with the Autofocus function. It works fine for close up pictures i.e. I press the button softly once and the camera focuses then the square goes green to say it focused, then I press again and it takes the picture fine. When I do the same for further away pictures I do the same process but the square never goes green....so the autofocus did not work. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?
The camera settings are on normal for autofocus BTW.
I just got the bold 9900 and the camra does not focus on small print

View 2 Replies View RelatedI got my new Bold 9900 about two weeks ago. I noticed today that there is thin black line that across my camera screen. This line is near the bottom of the camera screen and is in photos I take. This line will move downwards as I zoom in and disappears if I zoom in enough (and won't be in the pictures taken when zoomed in enough).
This line doesn't appear when I change to video camera. BTW my conveneice key which currently on the default option (camera) is EXTREMELY hard to activitate...I need to press REALLY hard!
I am on my 3rd Blackberry, currently on the new Bold 9900. It developed this camera fault that seems to be an issue throughout the Blackberry series. Yep the "camera not working because there are to many apps running" problem......except there are no apps running, this is clearly a hardware issue.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I use the camera, it just displays 8 vertical bars of equal width, each a different shade of grey. If I cover the camera then the whole screen goes black. If I take the picture, the same image is saved and can be selected and viewed. Device details below.
Bold 9900 on T-Mobile (UK). Only bought it a couple of weeks ago.7.1 Bundle 1149 (v7.1.0.342, Platform 5.1.0.276)Only a couple of apps installed, loads of free space.
I expect this will be an RMA. Very disappointed that I can't find a contact phone number for Blackberry considering how much I paid for it.
This is my second m8 I recently updated to 4.4.4 with at&t now my camera refuses to focus I can see well on the camera when the object is about an inch from the camera but, anything further and the camera gets unfocused.

I don't know why the camera on my E5 doesn't focus well. Cause when you usually point at something, the focus always starts to ... focus, but this doesn't.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI got my HTC One about 3-4 weeks back from vodafone and everything worked perfectly, then about a week ago my camera started going out of focus and i cannot get a single picture in focus. The other problem I have is I accidentally dropped my phone, this was like a day after I figured out about the camera, and it's got the tiniest crack at the top of the screen. It's pretty much invisible unless you put the phone under a bright light and look for it, it doesn't bother me because it doesn't effect the screen and I cant even tell, however the people in the vodafone told me it voided my warranty.

View 9 Replies View RelatedThe camera will not focus at all on the back. Selfie camera works great right away. After about a minute with the back camera, it will finally focus and work great. All films have been removed from the exterior lens of the camera, so I know this isnt the problem. Camera is on auto focus, too.
View 9 Replies View RelatedThe camera in my new Galaxy S5 will not focus. A fix for this which I've seen several places on the web is: "You have to clear the camera app cache if you want from your camera app to take good quality photos and to focus correctly. To do this go to Settings > Application Manager > All Apps and then find the Camera app. Click on it and clear cache. This is like a factory reset for your camera." However, When I go to Settings > Applications > Application Manager (I must take the extra middle step to get there; perhaps my phone is a later model), I do not see anything called All Apps and cannot find the camera app there.
The camera is really no good if all the pictures are out of focus.
