Apr 24, 2012I am facing 2 problems with my BB bold 9780 1. its showing media card error and not detecting content of media cardin mobile whereas its showing content when i connect it with the laptop. This problem is from last 7 - 10 days 2. Today, its getting restarted again and again. While starting, during software security verification, it gets switched off automatically and then restart.

Nov 15, 2012I just got a bold 9900. Problem is that the device reboots when using GPS. So I turned turned location services to off. I tried to upgrade the OS to v7.1.0.714. Still no chance in using the GPS without the device rebooting. I wiped the device and again same problem.
People most often send the phone back to the mobile carrier but I was wondering if any other solution exist?

Nov 14, 2011I purchased the new Xperia Neo V last Saturday only. As soon as I came home and started using the phone it started rebooting every now and then. I searched on internet and found that many people are facing the same issue with the same model. On Sony Ericsson forum they recommended to go for a factory reset and software upgrade. I tried both the things but it is exhibiting same behavior.It doesn't reset when you're working on it but as soon as it goes in standby mode and I try to make it alive by pressing the Home key it restarts. I also observed restart issue while receiving calls.At times, it resets itself continuously, when I keep it idle. The device screen gets dark then after some time the device splash screen reappears (the graphics that it shows while turning it on), then again a while it goes into standby mode and again the same cycle. I've noticed it resetting itself like this for more than 10 times at a go.
Earlier the phone had s/w ver 4.0.1.A.0.283 after updating it became 4.0.2.A.0.42.I've seen on net that many people had experienced this issue with other Xperia models. Did sony not learn from its earlier mistakes? You might not have the idea how bad impression you guys are creating in the market. Just search on the net and you'll come across thousands of people being harassed after trusting Sony. I've been a Sony fan because my last SE phone W700i is still performing its duty without letting me down. That was the only reason I trusted again Sony this time.I urge you not to play with sentiments of people, at least if you are aware of the cause of this problem, communicate it to your users properly and provide a proper solution at the earliest.

Mar 27, 2012I use a corded headset with my blackberry, I have owned a bold 9000 and a Torch and just upgraded to the Bold 9900. I have two headsets, one in my vehicle and one in my office. They both work fine and work with other blackberry's and devices.The problem is when the headset is connected to the blackberry the software does not select this device as the default device for answering or placing calls. This is a real flaw in the programming and is a complete nuance. Every time I place or receive a call I must select the headset manually on the touch screen.All the other blackberry's make the transition automatically. Meaning they all send the call to the headset without any intervention from me. I do not understand how this feature could have been left out if all the previous blackberry's worked just fine.

I visited App World yesterday to download a few games, came out and thought I'd change my wallpaper picture on my phone. Went into 'picture library' and found just under 500 images that I never saved to my phone! Scrolling through them I recognised a few from the games I viewed and downloaded from App World. I deleted them all (took me near on an hour) went on there again today and a few are back again! It seems my phone is automatically saving images. How do I stop this happening? Is it some kind of setting I have to change?

The issue I am getting is frequently mobile is getting silent automatically No ringtone is ringing, when I am getting incoming call only display is coming, when I am receiving call I cannot hear anything. So everytime I have to switch off mobile and remove battery and restart the phone again, for sometime everything is working fine but after some hours again getting silent.

Jan 6, 2010I have had my Bold 9000 for about two months. I bought it unlocked and have been using it with T-mobile. When I first got it, i upgraded it to the latest leaked os 5.0. The thing is, I had problems with it. First it would just randomly crash and restart and crash and restart, continuously tell it just drained the battery out. Sometimes, on restarts, the standard Blackberry ringtones would not work, and sometimes they would. Sometimes when it would restart after crashing it would say, "net_app_something_ (52) isnt working and was canceled". I assumed it was a bad leak and tried several different version. (and this same occurred with each OS. I would install it on my pc, on my buddy's who has an unlocked Bold 9000 on t-mobile just like me. In the end I gave up and went back to 4.6. Yesterday i tried the new, official OS 5.0.It worked at first, but then when I install the newest BBM, it started crashing again, until the battery was gone. So now I have reinstalled it, kept the standard BBM that comes with the OS. and also deleted Quickpull. thinking it might have to do with it as well. On a last weird note. It seems only to crash in the evening. In the morning it is perfectly fine, however once it passes 4pm , the crashing beings, non if this occurs with 4.6.
Any ideas? My friend and I are both lost. Sorry for the wordy post, but it is really difficult to describe the retardedness of this situation.

Feb 26, 2012I have set up my bluetooth to work on my Ford Focus Audio system. Followed the instructions:
- Paired the devices.
- Entered the code given by the audio unit.
- Confirmed that they were connected.
The blackberry asked if I wanted the phone to connect automatically to the unit (So I don't have to go through the process of waiting for, and accepting a connection on the phone. Drove to the garage to get fuel and turned off the engine. Got back in the car started up and drove off. At this point the phone should have connected automatically like my old Nokia. No sign of it doing so. On stopping I looked at the phone and it was asking to accept a connection from Ford Audio. This is not automatic connecting. Automatic connecting is the phone linking up itself as soon as I get in and switch the radio unit on. So why hasn't this worked?
