So I have just bought a bold9780 and every time i try to insert my SD card into the phone a message pops up saying all media files will be on my phone, but then all of a sudden another message shows up saying "media card storage can not be accessed due to fatal errors". I'm not sure what to do..

View 2 Replies View RelatedI cannot synchronize my Bold 9780 with my laptop via USB anymore because BB Desktop Software tells me : "Blackberry Desktop Software cannot communicate with the connected device".
I've been using my device for nearby a year now and everything went smoothly until recent times although I haven't changed anything in my settings.
My configuration : v6.0.0.294 on my BB device ; BB Desktop Software release 6.0.0.40 on my laptop ; Windows XP Professional Release 2002 Service Pack 3 on my laptop.
I tried to install the last version v6.0.0.546 via the web but my laptop could not recognize my device. Within the Windows Device Manager, my device is identified as an "Intelligent Blackberry phone" (so no USB port issue). The USB cable is OK (I checked with another one and faced the same issue).
Is the problem due to the fact that the release of the BB Desktop Software on my laptop is different from the one on my device ? By the way, this is the case since the beginning and everything went smoothly until recent times.
I just got a new Blackberry 9700, and it was with Telus before. I got it unlocked, and the guy at Rogers put in a new sim card, but nothing changed. It still comes up as Telus when i turn it on, and it says "Off" where the signal bars are.

Being prompted to login using BB ID to verify this change, I tried to log in but it was with no success. Now, my 9780 isnt connected to BIS regardless of having 3G coverage.I also had BB Protect on with my previous sim, when I changed card it gave me a message to confirm this change and asked to login with my BB ID, but tried over wifi and BIS but cant connect.
Having so much diffculties, I made a backup on my pc and run the security wipe. But, still unsuccessful.I tried rebooting, called my telco but still no success. Also, my telco told me that BB Protect had nothing to do with any of this and I'm from Malaysia.
I have me a blackberry bold 9780 and woke up one morning and it just stopped reading my media card wit some unable to access media card due to a fatal error. Was sent away via the carphonewarehouse repair center and another phone came back. This phone has now come up with the same problem. Will not read any SD card and these cards work on other Blackberry or PC etc. I have tried all the remedies out there. Reinstalled the OS. Started the phone without the Sd card etc.

Now I can't access the media card any longer, went to Rogers and they told me "never seen that before and I should get in contact with Blackberry tech support. I did have a notice popping up for a couple of seconds reading (fatal error with the media card). Now i cant even delete the pictures that are saved on the memory card. I purchased the blackberry off ebay (it was unlocked and previously used with AT&T) and it has worked for the past several months just fine.A few days ago I recieved the JVM error 102, after looking for solutions and none of them working, I just reinstalled the OS through the desktop manager (version 4.7).Now the phone is able to start up and seemingly function properly, however: the phone has reverted to its original AT&T theme and it does not recognize my SIM card. The entire GUI is different than it was previously, and it is incapable of making any calls nor connecting to the T-Mobile network. Upon receiving my unlocked Play, I noticed that the SD card isn't mounted. I tried numerous times resetting the phone and trying to see what was wrong but I can't seem to fix it. When phone is connected to usb the card mounts and I can see it from the PC and copy files to it. When I try to browse the card from the phone, it is not found. I thought I had formatted it FAT32, but of I look at card properties in file explorer on the PC, it says 'File System: Generic hierarchical'. So I'm thinking perhaps it is not formatted properly. If I am to try another format, is it best to let the phone format it, or do it in a card reader on the PC first? I'm worried if I let the phone do it I may wipe my internal SD by mistake.

View 8 Replies View RelatedWhy is it that the SD card on my Atrix is often not seen, and is there anything that can be done about it? Here are some examples of things that have not seemed to work with and/or recognize my SD card:
1. When my phone is hooked up to my car stereo via USB, the stereo finds audio files on the phones internal storage only, not on the SD card.
2. I have the app "Widgetsoid" which has a toggle switch to mount/dismount the SD card. Instead the widget mounts/dismounts my phone's internal storage.
3. I was using DoubleTwist for a while, but it was hit or miss as far as it seeing my SD card. Sometimes it would find my internal memory, other times it would find my SD card.
4. I had a BT system installed in my car temporarily, and it could only find audio files on the internal storage, not on the SD card.
The SD card seems to function fine with respect to file management when using my laptop and USB or Wifi. The music I have on the SD card functions fine with the stock music player and with ProAmp.
I just got my N900 about 2 days back, my sister dropped it and it would not turned on. I flashed it, and now it turns on but it does not recognize my internal memory card. I don't have an external card. I can't use camera, all websites show blank, and I get low error messages on almost everything else due to this.
If I go to settings/memory the the device memory is full and available memory for installable applications is at 80 MB. There is no corrupt memory card message. Also if I go to backup utility I get a "no memory card inserted" message. Any suggestions?
The title pretty much sums up my problem. I used the instructions from here to re-flash my N900.

And now as the N900 starts (takes a really long time) it does not ask for the SIM-card PIN code and as it is started it just shows a SIM-card icon with a red line over it near the battery icon. SIM-card is fine as it works on my N95. Any ideas what's wrong? I also tried another SIM-card. Nothing. And PC-Suite is not recognizing the phone either. I even tried flashing the eMMC but it didn't make any difference. The small lights in the bottom of the screen just blink for about 45 seconds and then after the boot video the phone start as if no SIM-card is there.
The question is in topic. The card is for 32Gb Class 10, first it was in FAT32, then I formatted it to exFAT. why phone is not seeing it at all.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOk, so I still have the songs I had b4 I've downloaded the 2.1 OS; when I look into the X10 Mini, the "AVAILABLE ROOM" seems to have gotten bigger; but I also have many times in which the phone says: "no SD card found" or"no available storage" and such, regardless all my songs are there(not sure where!), and the "SD and storage" still shows the amount of memory like - Total room: 3.67GB and Available room: 3.11GB; considering I only had about 1.70GB left pryor to the 2.1 OS update!!!
