Got a W760i locked to tmobile and want to unlock it but can't find what cid it is, anyone know how? I've checked the secret menu thing but nothing (or am I not looking properly?)
View 4 Repliesw760i phone could not switch on after i switched it off while boarding a flight. I have my phone fully charged the night before my flight. I have also tried to charge the phone after I couldn't switch it on but it's not working at all.

When I close my phone using the slider the screen goes black but once the lights on the keys go out an a press any button I can see my phones screen again. Then when I open my it goes black again until the lights go out then I press any button an the screen comes back again. Please can someone help me how I could fix this issue.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy W760i camera will not open now. I press the shortcut button and I get the press 0 for help screen. After a few seconds the phone returns to the wallpaper, then goes back to sleep. I get the same message if I go through the tools menus.

My problem: Some days ago I noticed that there is something with my cable-connection at my W760i. When I hear music with Headphones it sounds very strange. Sometimes the singer is away and I can only hear the Background music or the music is only on one ear. I've tested the cable if the problem is there, but no it is ok. And the charger and the PC-cable are working without faults too. So there must be a Defect at the phone, I think. I want to send my W760i to Sony Ericsson, because I've still warranty, but I can't find any address.

I read through another thread about unlocking the 'up' key as well as the right and left soft key mods and the camera mod and so i did the itm and xml files but after restarting my phone the only mod that kept i think was the camera mod. do i have to do the 'unbranding' although its technically already debranded so that i can make mods to it? how can i delete some of the locked media/application files?

Well it's not a software fault, it's just because I hit a button and the inside of my pocket just touches the screen and it unlocks. I saw on the xperia you have to slide your finger to unlock it, that would do the trick.

Required Items
1) Sony Ericsson Phone with CID up to 53
2) DCU-60 Cable or DCU-65
3) Internet Connection
4) Charge your battery!
How to do:
I Take No responsibility if anything goes wrong
1) Google up Omnius Server
2) Download the application (will link to rapidshare)
3) Extract the application with winzip or a similar program
4) On the website click "Register for application" on the left hand side
5) Go to your email check your junk mail as well (MUST validate your username & password)
6) Load up the application
7) Click on "Settings" then pick "Server Settings"
8) Put in your username and password you made earlier with "Register for application"
9) Now choose your Phone model on the top left hand corner "Tested on my rogers C905a it works 100%"
10) Click on "Unlock" and choose "Unlock Network lock by reset"
11) Turn off your phone, take out battery
12) Press and hold 2 & 5
13) Wait and wait and more waiting patiently
14) Turn your phone back on
15) Press > * < < * < *
15) Press right, star, left, left, star, left, star
16) Go to Service info pick "SIM lock" and now it should be all unlocked.
It's still good and I cannot use it now I have moved to New Zealand from the UK, because it is locked to Orange - who can afford Orange roaming NZ to UK! I cannot afford a new phone either, anyway I like this one. I have heard all about unlocking procedures and they sound a bit scary. What do I do?

That is: When I go into the elevator , It could not get through (normal situation) But when I am out of the elevator,My aino still could not find any signal for transmisson (this ocuurs everytime when I am out of the lift or somewhere such as ktv,restaurant and so on if I turn off the cell the phone and then restart ,it could work again. and it is the only way available to solve the problem. I have another se model w810c, I have tested several times to decide whether it is caused by the sim card and the network service center(China mobile) or not The same problem does not exist on w810c

My xDSL provider provides me with a wireless router which I have been using for ten years with no problem. I get 5 public IP addresses and when they are all assigned to MAC addresses I simply restart the xDSL modem to connect a new device. The following happens when I connect to my xDSL WiFi connection.
1. I have to enter the WEP security code (why doesn't Satio remember this so I don't have to enter it each time?)
2. It gives the message 'Connecting to my Wifi node'
3. It gives the message 'Checking internet connectivity' (I am assuming it is checking to see if the IP address is assigned)
4. It tries to go to my homepage www.google.com (shows a blank screen)
5. Then it times out and gives me an error message "Internet: No gateway reply" HOW DO I SEE WHAT IP ADDRESS HAS BEEN ASSIGNED BY MY WIFI NODE?
C905. It's a great phone and I have it for almost a year now. But yesterday I did a firmware update and now if I take a photo with the camera I can't find where it stores it. If I look at my pictures they're not there. I checked my settings and it should be saving the pictures on my memory card. I checked the remaining space on my memory card after taking picture and it changes. If I take a pictures it also says it's saving it. If I let it save on the mobile phone itself I can find them and I can find my videos on my memory card too.

When I try to go to the software updates on the W760a hompepage, it loads a blank page. Another aspect that matters to me is the camera, it does not need to replace a normal camera, but the photos should be of a certain quality.
