Nov 14, 2010Yesterday i updated my phone to android 2.1 through pc companion and it took almost half an hour. It was a success but when i switched it on, after sony ericsson written on it, it shows a camera logo sitting on top of a logo of the phone with an arrow pointing towards the phone, somethin like this: the arrow was glowing, i think it was to do something with the camera. I couldn't figure it out and after about 3-4 minutes, it booted up and the phone started. After that when i opened the camera, i found out that the picture was too much pixelated and bad quality even worse than before the update. i tried shooting some video in HD mode, the video also was too bad quality.

Mar 15, 2011I purchased the X10i headphones for my N900 today today. There goes another 250 EUR down the drain. The headphones work with my 3 DACs, with my 3 computers and my laptop. With my iPod and my son´s iPod Touch. But not with my N900 ( or my wife´s Nokia Musicexpress). Upon inserting the headphones, they just make a CLACK-CLACK-CLACK-CLACK sound @ 10 CLACK´s a second, until I remove them. Anyone else had the same problem? Or know of any other brand of phone which is incompatible with a pair of headphones?

Jun 15, 2010I received a notification on my xperia x10 to update new software so I updated the sony ericsson PC companion first (as that needed updating). I backed up my files using My Backup Pro and then I followed the update procedure.
1 Start - Took about 25 minutes to download the update files
2. Prepare - I followed through this procedure so many times but nothing is happening unlike the previous updates i've done. ( Disconnect USB from phone and PC, more than 50% charge (Mine was 96%), turn phone off and wait 5 secs, connect the usb cable to PC, then while holding the back button connect the usb to the phone.......but nothing happens afterwards (unlike with previous updates). Only the phones lights turn on with the SE logo and then the battery sign just appears.

Then I root and after that and I upgrade trough FOTA to .62 but my phone got bricked because I have the bootloader allowed. Sep 14, 2011the Gingerbread update slows down the X10... Mine was ok on the 2.1 after the update the phone is soo slow.it sometimes becomes unsuable then i have to take the battery out and reboot..even the Task Kill App (Advanced task Killer) from the Android Market doesnt make any dfference....When I kill the apps it usually says i have 51MB memory avilable... just dont know where the rest has gone.. on the 2.1 if I killed all the apps i usually would get around 128MB memory...It hangs and the response is very very slow ever since i upgraded....The only positve side to the Gingerbread update I can see is the Flash Player and thas about it...
