I have just bought a new i phone 6. I went to restore it and it stopped working and displayed the temperature sign - i phone needs to cool down before you can use it. It is not hot and I have tried turning it of and on, it just boots up to the same temperature page. It also won't display in iTunes so I can't restore it from there,

Here's my situation .. recently got the iPhone 6 plus 128GB, an unfortunately it fell out of hand and landed on it's back (with a strong case on), it got no dents or anything.Â
I picked it up and it was off, i tried to turn it on, it didn't turn on.
I connected it to iTunes and it requested me to restore it, after a few minutes a message saying restore error, I do not remember what it said exactly. Now my iPhone 6 plus is not working and iTunes is not recognizing it! Â
It got "Bricked"....

And I'm not talking about live weather animations. I know how to activate and deactivate that feature.
Is there any app which we can use to adjust the r g b values for the display and adjust the color temperature of the screen? Anything similar to KCAL on Nexus 6. Any kernel/app will do.

I assume there is something wrong with the connection. sometimes i can play with the daughterboard and the backlight lights up. but there is still no display.
The problem is that the phone is in PTP instead of MPT.
I don't care about the phone much as the pictures on it, because they are the last picture I have of a family member that recently passed away in an accident.
Even though the phone is rooted. when I load up Nexus toolkit, the phone is listed as unauthorized and I don't know how to pull any files off of it.

Today my iPhone 4 showed 'TEMPERATURE' - iPhone needs to cool down due to temperature. Anyone experiences this issue? I have the full BodyGuardz skin applied on it and was just using it as normal with email checking, web browsing, GPS with Copilot, but my phone was not used when I got a weird noise with the temperatue warning. I got same temperature warning message. I hadn't used my iphone 4 all day, and when i got a call from a friend, after a few minutes of talk time, my call was dropped and had received the error message...INSIDE my house with thermostat set to 67 F ! I do notice that a spot on the lower left corner of the backside seemed warmer. I tried to call again, but got the same message in even less time. My phone is about 2-3 mo old, no damage of any kind. Another thing (possibly unrelated) a few days before the battery completely died. When i plugged the charger in and tried to make a call, the call would drop giving me a battery error while still plugged into external power! I have never had that experience with any other phone. I have powered the phone completely off to see if that helps. And changed settings like turning off location.

I was recently personalizing my Nokia 3120 classic and was trying to see what I preferred regarding the display (essentially the home screen). When I pressed the 'up' navigation button and then 'options' to changes what was displayed, I set all parts of the display to empty (when I first bought it, it was populated with a line of application/function icons - left to right in the top-most row, the date and time in the second row and 'notes' in the third row).
Now I can't get anything back, and none of the Menu functions allow me to make any changes to this part of the display. Restoring factory settings does not restore this either. There is no intuitive way for this to work on the 'home' screen as the options function doesn't exist any more (emptying the rows has removed the function altogether).

I recently purchased a used iPhone 5 for cheap. I replaced the battery and it worked right away. It took several hours for the phone to charge completely and after I unplugged it, it drained very fast. The phone was still tied to the previous owner's account, so I wondered if it was draining fast because it was searching for something via my wi-fi. I charged it again before I went to bed, but unplugged it so I could charge my iPad overnight. When I woke up the next morning, it was under 20%. I went to work and got a hold of the previous owner to get her to remove the phone from her iCloud account. I called my girlfriend and asked her to plug in the phone so that it was on when she removed it. When I got home from work, the phone wasn't working. The screen didn't light up and there was no sign that it worked at all. I left it plugged in for the next 24 hours and it still didn't work. Holding the home and sleep/wake buttons do nothing. My used iPhone is a metal and glass brick. Found out from the previous owner that these were the exact symptoms she had before it stopped working and the battery needed to be replaced.

my 9360 kept rebooting itself yesterday. i looked up another forum and i worked out that it was because it needed a critical software update.the update itself took all night, then when i woke up this morning, it asked me to 'verify the data' and then it went on to 2 loading bars, with the bottom one saying 'overall backup process' and it has now stopped dead on 13%, with the top bar saying 'social feeds'i have tried turning it off/on again and again,i have tried rebooting it a couple times by taking the battery out.it still turns on and comes to this screen where it does not respond to any buttons (apart from lock, but it goes black and then comes back on again within about 10 seconds)

3G has stopped working on my launch day iPhone 4. Edge works sometimes. The sim card works fine in my 3GS. Anyone heard of this problem before? Done a full restore with no joy(and another problem, iTunes wiped my iPhone 4 back up when I just choose to call my restore iPhone 'iPhone' to test it out - is my back up lost forever? I'm assuming if I take it back to the Apple store at the weekend, if they have stock, they'll have to give me a brand new replacement? It's just over a week old, so I'd want one in a sealed box!
