I was trying to add a fingerprint in the Touch ID of my iPhone 5S and it came up with a pop up saying this finger can't be read try an other one i tried another finger but still the same... Why?

I have Yahoo on my iPhone, right? When I read an email in my Yahoo account on my iPhone, and later log into my Yahoo account, it shows those messages as read. Heck, I can even file my emails away in my folders, if I want to; i.e. move them over to my bills folder, or my purchases folder, or my mom folder.Now, here's the deal with my other account tho. When I read a work email on my iPhone, and I get to work the next morning, there it is, bold and unread. I really want it to show as read. I get an obnoxious amount of work emails. The whole point in keeping up with them on my phone is to save me time in the long run. So, when I get to work and have to re-read them all, I've saved nothing. And it happens that when I need to take a photo rapidly, starting by a black screen (in standby so), through dedicated camera button, I can't modify some settings into Camera, just like modality or resolution or whatever, I can only modifiy Flash or Noflash et similia

It's better to let modify for taking photos as simplier as possibile, because we can't firstly unlock our phone and then press on our camera button

I have a new brand Xperia Z5 Compact from two days ago.I have configured my mobil with everything I had in my old Xperia P and then I tried to configure some fingerprints to use it as my security method. I realized that it is not working as the wizard process crashes closing before I can introduce my fingerprint. I thought that reinstalling Android through the Sony Companion would solve the issue but it is still happening.

My wife, that has the same phone from the same day, could configure a fingerprint without a problem. Can be a hardware problem that does not allow me to configure the fingerprint?

I got the iPhone 6 on launch day, setup Touch ID and it has been working flawlessly. Today, it wouldn't read any of my fingers. I went into settings and none of my fingerprints show up and when I touch any of the three "USE TOUCH ID FOR:" items (which currently are turned off (no green in the toggle) to try and turn it on for that service it goes to the Touch ID setup screen, but IMMEDIATELY goes to a second screen that says "Failed. Unable to complete Touch ID setup. Please go back and try again."Â
I've tried restarting my iPhone a few times and still have this identical problem. How do I get Touch ID to start working again?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI discovered this evening while wiping the screen with a micro-fiber cloth while there was a scrollable list on the screen that my finger touches were registering right through the cloth!So I played with that a little bit and I thought that was sorta clumsy tryingto keep thecloth wrapped around my finger.I wondered if finger touches would register if I was wearing a finger cot.So I tried one and was stunned when it WORKED!!It worked right through the latex or whatever they are made from.You can get them at the drug store. Just ask for finger cots at the pharmacy. If they don't know what they are, some people call them Mexican condoms. No offense intended for any hispanics on the board.Just roll it on your finger as far as is comfortable. All you need is to cover the tip of your finger.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had my Torch for a few months and I just swapped my SD card (8gb) from my previous phone into the torch. It worked fine for a good while but I then started getting constant messages saying the media card was inserted then removed; these would occur straight after each other until i would lose patience and take it out.I wiped the card, formatted it, followed all the instructions on the forums of how to transfer media onto it properly but now the phone doesn't even recognise it. I assumed it was just that specific card as it as caused hassel in the past, so i tried a few other SD cards and the phone isn't recognising any of them.I intend to send my Torch to get repaired if I can't find a solution but I would rather not send it away for 14 days if I can avoid it.
