My iPhone 5 just had a white screen with a black apple on it. I have seen the reverse before (black screen with white apple), but not a black apple. Is this bad? It seems to be working ok now, but it was not working at all before the apple appeared.

i've just updated ios version but during restore it goes shut down and then i try to reset the i device but notthing happened when i reset the i device it'll went in dfu mode automatically i'm afraid is there any problem with mine's i deivce mine's i device isn't turning on no apple logo no hard reset works ?

I turned the phone off so I can turn it back on. It took a long time to turn off and then the apple logo would stay on for about 40 seconds and go to a black screen. I could see the phone was on but the screen was just black. I plugged my phone into my computer and it says i must restore it but I really cannot lose my content on my phone. What should I do?

IPhone 4 has a black screen which will display the apple logo and appears to be at start up but then blacks out for approx 10 seconds and then displays apple logo again. Same action over and over. I was updating my Iphone 5 to the new update and left it plugged in to finish the update. When I came back it was stuck on the white loading screen and a message on the computer said iTunes could not connect to the Iphone because it was locked with a passcode and wants me to enter the passcode. However I cannot enter the passcode because the phone won't let me. I cannot get the iphone to shut off or restart as my top button hasn't been very responsive lately.

My 3 months old iphone 5cĀ screen suddenly turns black with the white Apple logo for a few seconds then returns to normal almost everyday especially while playing game like Dead Trigger 2 or while using the camera and sometimes while browing the web and after disconnected the call. The problem started since last week the screen just shows a sign connect to itune, after several attempts i succeed to restore it. Since then this problem occurred, the first time it happened the screen just black and I tried to switch on the phone but it doesn't not on and when I pressed the home button and the power button then the phone switch on.

View 12 Replies View RelatedThis is getting ridiculous. Now Apple basically got rid of all the bumper colors except for black. Black is the only color available for the "free case" program and no bumpers are for sale outside of that program. So I can't buy a different color even if I wanted to pay them $30 for it. They're effectively discontinued for now. I know they'll come back eventually (with the white iPhone) but for now it's "You can have any iPhone you want, as long as it's a black iPhone with a black bumper".

I am helping out a friend who has a Nokia 6280. She claimed that it's infected by a virus because her problems started after using a Bluetooth headset. I don't quite believe this as I've heard it's more likely to be struck by lightning than to have this phone infected with a virus. Anyhow, the problem is the following: When you power on the phone, you get the Nokia handshake, then the phone loads. However, as soon as the phone loads, a bunch of black lines appear to streak across the screen rendering it black. That's not a huge issue because it goes away after a few seconds. Now I've read this could be an issue related to the ribbon that connects to the screen, but the screen turning black does not occur in any other instance other than right after when the main screen appears. I can play with the slider all day and nothing will happen, but like clockwork the problem appears after the phone loads.What gives? The phone works fine otherwise, so what could the problem be? If you need any more information I will be happy to provide. I've uploaded a video of this issue here (using my 5800 XpressMusic at night - the quality isn't that great sorry, but it does show the problem). Pardon the audio - my kids were watching Spongebob Squarepants so you might want to turn the audio all the way down! I guess my question is two-fold:
1) can this in fact be the result of a virus?
2) if this isn't due to a virus, what is it due to?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI dropped my iphone about 3 hours ago and it landed screen-down, but it was not shattered. everything on the phone works however i can't see anything - the screen is COMPLETELY black. i tried resetting it by pressing the home and power buttons at the same time, and it has not worked. since the phone is entirely functional except for the screen, i can hear when i get a text, etc. when i tried restarting it, I knew it worked because it made a sound when it came back on and was charging, therefore the only issue is the screen.
