We have an iPhone 5s here that once the screen is powered on it displays red frames or highlights around available tap objects which cycles from one/group to the next and repeating endlessly. I thought it might be an app or an accessibility feature but I can find the source.
View 1 RepliesAll it does is randomly tag photos and add another useless album that takes up screen space. If I want a photo tagged, I'd do it myself. I don't need the phone deciding for me.
View 2 Replies View RelatedInstalled 4.3 on my Sprint HTC One earlier today. From my understanding, you can now add your own music to Highlights. The option is there when a Highlight is created, but when I choose "Select Music" it brings me to a menu with only four options (see attached):

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been able to add custom RSS feeds to Blinkfeed, but how can I get them into the Highlights? Right now the only way to access those feeds is to swipe from the left and select each individual custom feed, which results in Blinkfeed only showing items from that one custom feed. Then I have go back and do the same for each other custom feed, and then once again to get back to Highlights.
Ideally, I'd like to be able to see the items from all of the feeds (custom and otherwise) in the Highlights category so I don't have to go back and forth.
The customization within Settings "Add topics to Highlights" doesn't give me the option to add the custom feeds.
Having problems with saving Video Highlights after updating to Android 4.3 and Sense 5.5? Since I updated, I can't save the videos... Gets to about 7 to 10% and then freezes. I am able to construct and edit the videos but I can't save or share like I could before...

View 2 Replies View RelatedBought the Nexus 5 I decide to start utilizing cloud storage more but I'm now facing a very irritating problem. In the Photos app when you view backed-up pics they are grouped by date. This is so frustrating since I have a bunch of albums with only one pic.
I have about forty pics people sent to me though WhatsApp and every single pic has it's own album. I have a separate folder for "family" "friends" "dance" things that make sense grouped together. I took the time to curate every pic into specific folders but auto back up jacks everything up.
I play Gun Bros, bought warbucks and purchased 1 set Infinity Armor 3. I play classic and reached Level 51, got 1 predator and 1 coronal ejector. But when I log in to Game Center everything was reset to nothing. How can I get them back? I used $35.99 to get myself 170 War bucks. Now everything is gone. >.<

Just noticed that iPhone will auto-capitalize its own name, and Satan, but not God. Any way to make God also auto-capitalize?And for that matter, how do you reject an auto-correct decision? When you hit Space it puts in its suggestion, then you have to backspace and type it again. Helpful when it's right, but pretty annoying when it's wrong.

I tried to delete a couple items from the note & after a few seconds the items reappeared. Can you not edit a note & save? I do not recall ever having the issue previous to the latest OS.

Instead it shows on the phone on a POP account. Now the POP account was the first account he configured on the phone. However, I have not found a setting for any type of defualt mail account that I can disable.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have my work email self sort using rules so that messages from certain people (ie the Boss) go into their own inbox, so they don't get missed. However, only the mail from the main mailbox is getting pushed to my iPhone, not the mail from the Boss folder.
I've gone into the Exchange account settings on my iPhone and I have set the inbox, plus 4 other folders to be pushed. However, only the inbox is getting pushed. FWIW, here's the rule: After the message arrives, move messages from BOSS to BOSS folder.

I recently saw that the "Other" file on my iPhone 4 was getting past 3 gigs in size. I recalled reading recommendations here to do a restore on the phone to get this file back to a reasonable size, so I did that, and then after setting my iPhone completely back up, I synced it. The phone was showing me the "connect to iTunes" screen even after the restore was done and a sync had completed.
Now, all kinds of things are missing from my phone and did not show up after syncing (and multiple additional syncs)! All photos and videos are gone, all texting threads, all my alarms, my wallpaper settings, the organization of my apps/folders, my phone number "favorites"... AACK!! My songs and apps are there. I got my calendars and contacts back from iCloud, but so much other stuff is gone. I had given up on retrieving everything else, but now I feel compelled to ask for help. Am I wrong in expecting the restore & sync process to put my phone back to exactly it's condition at the time of a prior sync? How can I get all of these settings and data back? Is there a way I can sync from a specific date before I did the restore? I've never had these issues before.

Preparing to backup my iPhone to my computer, I saw there was an uupdate available (5.1.1). When I cllicked to update a message window popped up saying,
"There are purchased items on the iPhone "Mac User's iPhone" that have not been transferred to your iTunes library. You should transfer these items to your iTunes library before updating this iPhone."
But how do I ascertain what hasn't been traferred and where, and how would I do that transfer?

I use Webmail from Time Warner Cable (RoadRunner) for my e-mail. When I am using my e-mail on my home computer (using the internet to access webmail.wi.rr.com) and delete an item in my inbox, the e-mail still shows up on my phone. Additionally, when I delete an e-mail on my phone, it still shows up in my e-mail on my home computer (using the internet to access webmail.wi.rr.com). Does anyone know why this is happning and how I can get the inboxes to match one another?
