I have recently turned my iphone 5s on then off as the message screen was stuck. Since turning it back on the screen is constantly flickering no matter what menu I am in although its more prominent at the top left corner.
I have had the phone since March, its currently on IOS8.1.1 and has been for a while but was fine until about 10 m,ins agoÂ

I've Nokia N79 Having Problem With Screen I've installed Ovi store and Upgraded fw on v32 suddenly the phones screen gets blinking in definite period of 7sc I've reflshed phone,changed settings,hard reset,soft reset, and many more.. But problem still presents. Should I replace display? Or display adapter?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI got my Droid Razr Nov 10th; had problems so Nov 11 evening I reformated device, factory reset.
As of this morning on Nov 19th I noticed my LED notification light flashing, so I turned on screen to see what I missed. Nothing. Okay so I unlocked phone and waited a minute to see if some third party application will tell me I have a notification. Nothing.
I turned display off, waited a min and it started flashing again. This time I had to go to work so I turned off device 100% and went to work; 6hrs later I turned on device and I got the LED notification light again. Still cant figure it out. After texting a friend, his 2nd text finally made it go away.
I attended a wedding ceremony as a guest and put my cell phone on Airplane mode so no distractions during wedding and thankfully no lights. 1hr later I re enabled all Data (turned off Airplane mode) and still no LED notification.
I thought I was saved.
But I was wrong. After 2hrs I'm getitng the LED notification light again. Tech thought it had something to do with battery, well at at any rate I'm getting a new device, will be here Wednesday but apparently its still blinking at me.
Heck I even have that thing plugged into the AC charging battery and its still going off. The weird thing is, is that when I turn a blank black screen to power up for me so I can use device the LED light goes away, but when I turn off the display (not powering device off) it comes back.
Verizon tried to get me to Motorola Tech Support but guess what, during the transition of being transferred it was 5:59 then 6:00 and the phone cut me off so their website shows them being closed. i just missed the transfer to talk to someone at motorola by 1 minute. So now i have to wait til after 3pm PST tomorrow before i call Motorola back about this issue. Til then I'm hoping someone else knows something
At the top left of my N8 there is this blinking envelope and the 'sim card full' msg. appears as I touch it. no contacts and no sms on the sim card. Contacts > Options > Memory > SIM Memory - shows 0 Contact persons and Free=500.All SMS msgs are deleted (no unread sms).How to have this blinking stop?

I got home one afternoon put my phone down went back to it and pressed the home button and it seemed that it turned itself off so I tried turning back on, didn't work so I hooked it up to my laptop tried turning it on again it came on but I got a WHITE screen. So after that I decided to leave it for a bit I went to it after it started working fine...until 4 days later. I was on instagram and all of a sudden the screen starts flickering like crazy and then it turned itself off, I did what i did last time and just left it for a bit it came back on working fine. And then about 2 days ago I was listening to music and the screen froze then started flickering (getting quite annoyed at this stage) and then turned off, this time I tried turning it back on straight away only this time it worked. And that brings us to this morning, i was on facebook and about 5 minutes later it starts flickering and freezing once again and then turned itself off. So i hooked it up to my laptop I then got it to turn on for like 6 seconds then the screen started to dim and turned off. That brings us up to now about 10 minutes ago i tried turning it on, it turned on but I got a PURPLE screen and it just stayed like that until i turned it off.

The screen on my iphone is showing the top part of the screen at the bottom of the screen. A system reboot hasn't worked - the power/lock combo. The images on the screen are flickering and jittery in some apps but perfect in others. After a reboot thing there is a discoloured oval in the screen and the edges are faded.....

Screen has a line flickering through it, and the graphics also are starting to flicker. When I open the camera, the graphics invert to look like 'pop art', and then the camera crashes. When using other applications sometimes the app crashes, to a black screen and usually the graphics invert. The only way to rectify is to put the phone to sleep, then when i wake it up - its back to normal, until the next time...? Its becoming more and more frequent, and has been happening for 6 days now.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone 4 had around 50% battery left. The phone shut down and now I can not restart it. I have tried holding down the power button and home screen multiple times. I have also plugged it in to my computer, which will not recognize it, and left it in the wall charger for about a half an hour. I have not dropped the phone and it has not been exposed to water.
I recently went to the Apple store and got the phone replaced becasue the home button was not working and there were various cracks throughout the phone. Is it possible that there was a problem with the refurbished phone they gave me?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought my Z3 in January, 2015. Now the display broke at the edge. I went to a specialist for repairing Smartphones. They changed the display, but direct after the repair its flickering at the borders. I can also see some pressure points at the bottom border of the display.
The IT guy says its because of the battery. Within time it is getting bigger and now it is pushing against the display. That should be the reason for the flickering. I can't believe that, because the smartphone is only 7 months old.
Sometimes when I touch power button to start using the device, only empty standard ( factory standard) wallpaper shows up, no user interface at all. What is more the screen keeps going on/off uncontrollably about once per second. There is no way to interact with the device. Only thing that works is to press power long enough to get "turn power off" option and restart.
View 7 Replies View RelatedFor the past three weeks my S5 has been flickering and the screen will freeze up. When I try to text the screen shakes up and down and I can't type the letters. When I'm on wifi it "seems" to work better, but when I'm not on wifi it's definitely much worse. Any screen that I go into it does this and it's getting worse. Sometimes it will freeze and I just have to leave it for a few minutes before I can do anything on it.

What is the proper action to take here? Do i wait for a fix and then download it or do i have to return the phone because it is a hardware issue? I also have a friend who got his phone a few days ago and it has the same problem but not quite as severe.
if i had to guess i would say this have to do with the dimmer componen for the background lightning of the lcd panel, but i have no way to verify this.Other than this i totaly love the phone so i hope this could be fixed with an update, dont want to spend any time w/o it

View 1 Replies View Relatedi also face the same problem of flickering screen in my xperia mini. i read through most of the posts and tried the tips given like keeping the screen brightness to maximum, downloading some power control and brightness widgets and setting the brightness to maximum etc. none of these methods are working. I tested with the ambient light sensor by closing wiht my hand after setting the brightness to max also. Still the sensor was playing with the screen brightness. Someone please help me with any good suggestion to resolve this issue. my phone software build no. is 4.0.2.A.0.42. flickering is predominant when the background is light.
