HTC One M7 :: Display Flickering After 30 Minutes Of Use
Dec 25, 2013I received a brand new HTC One today. Ordered from Amazon - boxed and sealed. My phone seems to have developed a screen flickering / issue after about 30 minutes of use.

I have had a look on the web but can find very little regarding this specific issue. Something I can fix (software update?) or is this a hardware issue that requires me to send it back?

Sep 8, 2015I bought my Z3 in January, 2015. Now the display broke at the edge. I went to a specialist for repairing Smartphones. They changed the display, but direct after the repair its flickering at the borders. I can also see some pressure points at the bottom border of the display.
The IT guy says its because of the battery. Within time it is getting bigger and now it is pushing against the display. That should be the reason for the flickering. I can't believe that, because the smartphone is only 7 months old.

Jun 23, 2012I got home one afternoon put my phone down went back to it and pressed the home button and it seemed that it turned itself off so I tried turning back on, didn't work so I hooked it up to my laptop tried turning it on again it came on but I got a WHITE screen. So after that I decided to leave it for a bit I went to it after it started working fine...until 4 days later. I was on instagram and all of a sudden the screen starts flickering like crazy and then it turned itself off, I did what i did last time and just left it for a bit it came back on working fine. And then about 2 days ago I was listening to music and the screen froze then started flickering (getting quite annoyed at this stage) and then turned off, this time I tried turning it back on straight away only this time it worked. And that brings us to this morning, i was on facebook and about 5 minutes later it starts flickering and freezing once again and then turned itself off. So i hooked it up to my laptop I then got it to turn on for like 6 seconds then the screen started to dim and turned off. That brings us up to now about 10 minutes ago i tried turning it on, it turned on but I got a PURPLE screen and it just stayed like that until i turned it off.

Screen has a line flickering through it, and the graphics also are starting to flicker. When I open the camera, the graphics invert to look like 'pop art', and then the camera crashes. When using other applications sometimes the app crashes, to a black screen and usually the graphics invert. The only way to rectify is to put the phone to sleep, then when i wake it up - its back to normal, until the next time...? Its becoming more and more frequent, and has been happening for 6 days now.

Aug 27, 2012I was upgrade my blackberry device software 9930 to 7.1.0.649, after restore all data, all my bbm contact avatar disappears, it will appears after change avatars (it's okay & no problem) but I can't update my display picture. I was change avatars, crop and save more than more but still won't update, and I ask to my friend, he/she said: your bbm display picture not update from 1 weeks ago. I tried to fix this issues but still not work, this is what I have tried:
1. Host Routing Table & Battery Pull
2. Delete & Reinstalling my BBM, Downgrade & Upgrade
3. Reinstalling & Downgrade my Device software / OS
4. Send Service Book
5. Delete my bbm data from blackberry desktop software and restore it
6. Security Wipe & Restore it again

Aug 13, 2011Wondering if anyone else if experiencing this. I've replaced it in the mm dock several times and it is so dim I can barely see it. I have tried setting the display brightness to max and setting it to auto with no effect.I've set the night mode brightness on the mm dock setting to as bright as it can get with no change. BTW it is 1:30 in the afternoon. Interesting that at night when it should be dim it is as bright as it can be. Checked the clock and the DX2 knows the correct time.
