my iphone does not show up in itunes when i plug it into the computer (windows 8). It used to, not anymore. I have the new op system, the phone will charge so is connected and works normally, it's just that itunes doesn't recognize the phone or something like that.Â

iphone 4 won't turn on. I press top button and still nothing. I plug it in and there is a pic of plug and itunes logo. I hook it to my computer and itunes comes up and says it has detected a iphone in recovery mode. It asked if I want to restore so I hit restore button and it starts extracting. When done extracting, a messages comes up and says this iphone can not be restored error 1656. What can I do now? I bought this phone new in October. It has not been damaged in anyway. It started one morning after charging all night.

I've tried everything, unplugging it, changing ports, restarting apple mobile device services, everything. My iphone will connect to the computer and charge, but that's about the extent of what it will do. It won't connect to itunes, it won't even show up as a driver on my computer. When charged to an outlet, my phone shows a message that it cannot receive incoming calls and must be restored through iTunes. When I disconnect the phone from the power source it shuts off. When I connect it to the computer, the apple sontinues to come on and nothing else happens. Almost as if it is resetting itself continuously. And it does not show on my iTunes.

When up connect my Atrix to my computer via the USB cable, I get the message, "Do you want to scan and fix MB860?" as wells as "Do you want to scan and fix SD card?" This happens on a Windows Vista and on a Windows 7 computer. The problem is not that I do not disconnect properly from the computer, as I always click that "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the tray (isn't that what they call it?) down on the right of the Taskbar, and then click the proper choice before unplugging the cable. If I tell it I do want to scan and fix, there is never any problem found after the scanning.

So I have the Iphone 4 with the new IOS 5.1. Ever since I downloaded the operating system to my phone, Itunes crashes when I plug my phone into my computer. the itunes app on my phone works fine, but is frustrating because I have many movies and music stored on my computer that I cannot get to because of this freezing issue. my iphone 3gs was previously 3.1.2 firmware and i used my brother laptop that already had blackra1n installed so i used it and it looked fine then it just got bricked? it just doesnt turn on and when i plug it in computer it just says its in recovery mode and needs to be recovered.
so i thought i would just recover it to 3.1.3 but i wanted to avoid that step and go straight to 3.1.2 so that i can instantly jailbreak it correctly this time. i search around Internet and find a download for 3.1.2 firmware and i follow the steps and im supposed to do shift+and click restore on itunes and browse the download all looks swell until when it says preparing for recovery and it just comes with the (1600) error code.
However, if I unplug my earbuds I have vocal.
