IPhone 5 :: Can't Delete Saved Passwords From Safari On IOS 7
Jun 3, 2014
I'm unable to delete two entries on Safari's Saved Passwords (on Passwords and AutoFill) on my iPhone and iPad.Those two entries appear on both my iOS devices (iPhone 5 and iPad 3, both running the latest iOS available).
I've already set "Settings>Safari>Passwords and AutoFill>Names and Passwords (OFF)".Every time I delete them from my "Saved Passwords" list, they disappear only for instances. I exit and re-enter "Saved Passwords", and they're back on the list.
Both have the website just as "https://". These entries were not created by me...at least directly, since on of the emails has @t-com.de termination, which I've never used before.I already have my "Keychain" on iCloud turn off. Never did any jailbreak on any device, and now I'm starting to worry if this is a security issue of some kind.Â
Info:
iPhone 5, iOS 7.1.1, iPad (3rd gen) also applies
I need a way to view / sync saved WiFi passwords in order to use them with another device.Where they are stored on a C3, and how to recover them to a PC?
I recently used social networks of the new opera mini 7.I logged in and logged out of the social network shortcut and found that all saved user names and passwords removed/deleted.
I just picked up a Turbo after retiring my Razr M. No matter how many times I did a factory reset on the Razr M, every Wi-Fi that I've ever connected to would reamain listed in the "Manage Networks" tab (including the saved passwords). Thought I read somewhere that Google saves all this information under your gmail account.
Basically when i go to upload a photo on Facebook on the phone and go to choose from phone libraby it doesnt let me upload any pics i've saved from emails or from safari on the phone it lets me upload any other pic from the folders that get synced from my mac or pictures i take with the phone.
Last time I did the software update to my 3G iPhone, all my bookmarks in Safari (on the phone) were deleted. I was very unhappy about that, so I've been hesitant to do the latest update, because I don't want it to happen again.
Is there some way to back up Safari bookmarks, so I can put them back on again if they're lost? I'm very hesitant about syncing/updating things, since I always manage to lose lots of stuff on the phone whenever I try to do something
I have been trying to delete a e-mail message which shows up in my message inbox, however when I try to delete it, it will not delete. I have tried deleting it from my Saved folder and it will not delete the e-mail message. Can someone tell me how to delete this message once a for all.
I went into my "messages" app, (the one where it tells me i have a voicemail) and i went to delete my voicemail notification (once i was done listening and deleting my voicemail) and i accidentally hit "save" instead of delete. Apparently i saved the notification because on the top of my screen it has the number 1 with an envelope, but i have no new voicemails or texts. I looked all over my other apps and i can't find where it's saved.
How do I delete automatically saved email addresses. When I compose an email and press a letter to find a recipient, every person I ever sent or received an email from is in the list. It is not the same list as my contacts. I have looked everywhere in the BB files and cannot find the file where they are saved.
Recently my blackberry stopped saving pictures that I have taken on the camera. It comes up as 'read only files' and it's blank. Now i cant even delete the pictures that are saved on the memory card. I have tried the battery pull, connecting my blackberry to my pc, even tried formatting the media card and it comes up as formatt failed both on the blackberry and also on the pc.
I have been first using iPhone and set to my account then my wife is having the phone and we set her account, but now when updating some times it asks my account password some other ask me wife's password. In the settings iCloud and Store are set to my wife's account but stil sometime toask my password for updates. How we can stop that?
I'm having some problems with my iPhone. I changed the password on it a while back and completely cannot remember what it is. I have iPhone 5S and haven't really used the password to unlock the phone since (I use the Touch ID). I couldn't get into my phone so I had to restore it. I remotely deleted it using find my iPhone because I was also having windows problems recognizing my phone. With a fresh install, I set up as a new phone and restored using an iCloud backup. I'm sure that during this process it asked me to set a new Touch ID as well as a new passcode, which I set to one that I use more frequently. I've used it for a bit now, and came to wanting to add my other fingerprints - it then asked me for my iPhone password. I entered what I thought it should be 4 times and then though hang on, has it changed my iPhone password? I then locked the device and entered the password it should have been set to a 5th time. That then activated the 'iPhone deactivated' screen, which has now disabled my Touch ID! I'm now locked out AGAIN, I'm assuming because the iCloud backup has restored a password that I can't remember, does this sound right?Â
how long erasing the phone, restoring, entering passcodes and wifi codes, restarting the whole icloud restore, and all the other bits of tinkering that you have to do, re-syncing 3000 tracks, letting photos redownload. I don't want to waste time doing this a third time...can you confirm/clarify whether it does pull over the previous passcode?Â
I downloaded an app called "the vault - secure document and data storage" I recently updated it and now the app crashes every time i enter the last digit of my password. I tried to find the app on itunes to contact the creators but now I can't find it and when ever I google the apps name the apple.com link to the app gives me an error saying the app is no longer available. how I could contact the makers of the app so I can try to contact them and get some help getting into the app that saves all my passwords? or maybe a work around so I can get in and write them all down to transfer to a new app?
my iPhone is blocked due to wrong passwords. I haven't used it for a while because I used a blackberry. Now I'm fed up with blackberry so want to use my iPhone again.
My iPhone says I should connect to iTunes but when I try it tells me the phone is blocked. What do I need to do?
1) When I delete email messages using my pc (aol) they remain on my iPhone (also aol) and the same is true in reverse. How can I delete from both simultaneously?
2) Where/how on my iphone can I store various passwords.
what is a good ap to store passwords across multiple iOS devices? Macbook, iphone, ipad, so something cloud based. Anything that already works with keychain?
iPhone Backup - Does it back up 3rd party(Exchange, gMail, etc) mail settings and Passwords? So when I go to transfer/restore my backup to a new phone, will the exchange account settings, like server, user name and password be restored to the new iPhone?
Is it possible to transfer my saved messages from the "Saved Messages" folder to a memory sd card? Im thinking about upgrading my phone but have alot of saved important messages I dont want to loose.
