iPhone 4s stuck at passcode screen. Touchpad numbers are not responding. Phone keeps turning on and off. There seems to be no way of rebooting it. Also where it would normally indicate the service provider it just says searching. Prior to this the memory on the phone was full.

I cant accept incoming calls, disconnect outgoing calls, end browser when on internet, and my touchpad does not respond either. my call send button, end call button and my trackpad do not respond at all...any ideas??? please help!!! My phone has not got wet or been dropped. I checked for an update when I was notified that there was one available but when i got to the site it told me that no upgrade was available, made no sense.

Tried a number of combinations but none worked! Has it ever happened that an iPhone won't let you in with the correct passcode? Does it usually malfunction when you switch back to numbers? And most importantly - is the only solutioin to reset the phone???

Phone fell out of my pocket on a roller coaster, it stayed in one piece and will turn on but with no screen activity. To back up my phone itunes tells me it requires me to input the password. Tried to back my data up to an old iPhone4 (ios6). I can't back up via the cloud because the phone I'm baking up to is running an older version of iOS than the phone with my data on it. I'm trying to back up from iTunes but can't b/c I can't enter my passcode on the shattered screen. I only have backups on the cloud. I have never backed this phone up to my computer. Because I was told iCloud back ups were good enough. But now I'm stuck in a catch 22.

i recieved a text today and when i went to slide to unlock my phone my screen didn't respond. i tried to take a picture and my screen still doesnt respond. so i slide up and it works but it doesn't respond when i try to click on camera, calculator, flashlight, etc...then i pull down and it works but wont allow me to press on anything.

My iphone 5s' touchscreen has not been responding as of late. it glitches very badly, randomly opens apps and does not respond to my touch. Sometimes it even completely freezes up. I do not know what to do. It just goes in and out of apps crazily without me doing anything to it. Its as if it is being controlled remotely from somewhere else.Â
I have tried to restart the phone to fix the issue but that hasn't worked. I also reset the phone to factor settings and set it up as a new device but to no avail. this is really inconvenient as I need my phone to function properly for day to day use.

My iphone 4s is less than a week old. It has a black screen and is not responding. I tried charging. It gets warm but the phone doesn't respond. I tried a different plug. A different wall outlet. A different plug and different wall outlet. I tried rebooting. I tried to contact customer support but (haha- you have to call them or them call you back. I can't find an online tech support option for the iphone. I tried resetting it. I tried plugging it into the computer to wipe it and reload. My computer can't even recognize the phone. I've recently purchased an Iphone 4s. It's and incredible device that has no barriers, but one issue that is present is bewildering. When the phone is plugged into any power outlet in my residence the screen doesn't respond or spots responding all together, the decline in response slowly becomes more apparent as its plugged in. Now, if the phone is removed from the power source it continues normal functionality like it has no issues.

View 1 Replies View RelatedFor the last couple of weeks my screen has been starting to act kind of weird. The problem is that the screen become unresponsive from time to time. For the most of the time when the screen stop responding I can "reset" it by pressing the sleep-button and then wake the phone up again or tilt it to landscape-mode.
It's very annoying and I don't know what to do. For example, just a regular text/sms takes like 8-9 "resets" as described above, to finish. I use the latest software for both iOS and iTunes. The phone has not been a subject to "brute force" or any kind of liquids and part from a few very small scratches the phone looks like new (kind of).
