I have an iPhone 4. the screen right now is stuck on delete photos and cancel. I can't do anything else..the touchscreen just stopped working. Im able to use the power button and the volume and silent buttons on the left side but nothing else. I can make a call or answer a call or power it off..what can I do?

E7 would need a mechanical call disconnection button (could be programmed e.g. for on/off-button??), as the touch screen every now and then gets stuck and you're not able for example to end the call. Especially when you don't want to leave a message to a voice mail and the phone just keeps on going there's gonna be several f-words in the voice mail.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI have an X8 with the 2.1 Android update, I have noticed that if I try to download something using my wi-fi internet while the phone is connected to the PC then the download gets stuck, any further downloads also dont progress and it is not possible to even cancel the downloads in such a case. Only solution I have found is doing a factory reset. But I am afraid it might happen again, if I download apps while the phone is connected and I dont want to have to reset it again.

I know this because I was able to use another (old) Hotmail account on the device but when I try and set up my current Hotmail account I get problems.

My 5800 touch screen is not responding well like any touch screen should. Compared with my friend's phone and he said there is definite problem with touch. Now is this rectifiable? Or better to go for an exchange? I dont trust Nokia Care because my e72 is still with them for some error which they are not explaning properly. Poor customer service.

My Mac crashed last Friday. First timeIs there any way to get my photos FROM my iPod Touch back into my new hard drive. The iTunes sync only goes one way from the computer to the iPod. It syncs the photos taken with the iPod (really an old iPhone 3G without phone service) but not the folders which I synced from the old hard drive to the iPod over the past year.

I just bought the new Nokia 5233 phone.Whenever the phone is locked and I set a alarm. There is no way i can stop the alaram other than to reset the alarm manually by alarms-> edit.
There will be two touch buttons that apper on the otuch screen. One to stop and other to snooze the alarm. Even If press them, it wont work. The alaram keeps ringing. I even tried clicking on the green button and the menu botton at the bottom. Still no use. I cant even unlock the phone. Only thing i can do is press the red button at the end, which will snooze the alarm. After this, I have to manually change the alarm time.
The same thing happens even with phone calls. I cannot use the touch button that apper on the touch screen. I have to use the green and red button at the bottom.These problem come into picture only if the phone is locked. Otherwise it works fine.
I have read several posts and tried things. My touchscreen keyboard on year old motorola droid 1 works completely when horizontal but when vertical the 'delete key' and the 'L' key respond as the ones next to it. i have tried safe mode start, took battery out,etc.

Realized soon after that my local REI had it in stock and I had a xmas gift certificate. Went to REI and purchased it - (Canceled my order for the Garmin 910XT in the process) Went back to the site to try and cancel my order but the 'Cancel items or order' button on my order page wasnt' functional. No biggie, I'll call. After being passed around to the same 3 depts TWICE, I was finally told the ecommerce section was closed for the weekend. Once again, I understand that.I then call on Monday, they tell me the order hasn't yet shipped but I'm not allowed to cancel it at that point. Don't quite understand and getting a bit frustrated at this point but whatever, I'll deal. Customer rep tells me that they'll issue a return slip and email it to me.
OK, I'm good with that.Wednesday comes and still no email with return slip. I call, go through the same 3 depts again and get someone else who tells me that it takes a while to get the return slip but I'll have it within 24 hours.24 hours goes by, I call again and get hung up on 3 times in the process before I can ever get to anyone. Once I get someone on the line, they tell me that it should be to me within the next couple of days... A RETURN SLIP?Once I finally lost my temper a bit, they said it would be 'escalated' and that I should be receiving it within a few hours... we'll see. They also let me know that I could not return it without the receipt.Meanwhile, I've completely soured on the one that I purchased and I'm considering returning it as well and changing my order back to the Garmin. By the way, I called Garmin's support team just to compare... night and day!

It's been a bit of a mess, since I use Entourage as my email program.The REAL problem I'm having now is that my iPhone 4 now won't sync. iTunes "quits unexpectedly" at stage 7 (of 8) in the syncing process, where it says it's importing photos. My iPhoto is '09, version 8.1.2 Is this not compatible with Lion?

My Sprint Touch Pro's touchscreen slowly died today. And I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what I should do. I bought it on eBay and apparently the warranty is non-transferable so that's void. I have it on Boost so I'm guessing going to Sprint is out of the question also.

i recently switched from a android phone to a i phone i wanted to still have the photos from my old phone on my i phone so i transfered the pictures onto my computer with a sd card and synced them with my i tunes for some reason most photos came in as double or tripples probably due to something with the sd card since i had it in a few differnet phones but now i am trying to figure out how to delete just certain photos since it wont let me delete any ive read there is a way to use a empty folder or somthing to delete all the photos but i dont want to delete all of them just some?
