Now I'm apparently stuck on Apple logo loop and the phone is restarting all the time.This is the iPhone that was exchanged for my faulty one, and unfortunately I didn't do the SHSH backup to saurik's server on this one.Is there any way, that I will be able to use 3.1.2 on it and do JB/UL? Or at least UL?

Apr 3, 2012In Settings > General > Reset, when you tap on Erase All Content and Settings, can you stop it once it starts?
I'm hoping the answer is "no"; that it carries on and will only stop once it has erased EVERYTHING securely from the iPhone.

Jul 6, 2012I currently have a 16g iphone 4s. I am swapping phones with my brother, and went to wipe the phone with the built in reset from settings. "Erase All Content and Settings". I clicked it and it immediately went to the "loading" screen where it is just a black screen with the white cirle, continuously circling. Now ive done this before and it took only a few minutes to reset. But this time around, i am currently going on 3 hours of it "Resetting".is there a shortcut, should i open phone up and unplug battery? let it die out? or wait it out and keep it plugged in??

After i clicked it, it restarted, then the apple icon came up and a loading bar. About 2 of them pass, then the little loading spiral thingy came up and it goes round, then stops, then goes some more, stops. Then it restarts and does it again.

May 2, 2012I cannot get past the Set up Iphone page when trying to transfer my old 3S phone to new 4s, all my contact etc carries over to the new phone but everytime i connect back to the iTunes it ask me to do the same thing. May 21, 2010I have a big problem and I hope someone is able to help me. So i recently bought an iPhone 3g on ebay and it was already unlocked and jailbroken. I wanted to delete the contacts in there so I did the "erase all contents and settings." The things is, I did not know I was not suppose to do that to a jailbroken iPhone. I connected it to my computer and it only shows the apple logo, this has been going on for several hours now.
