Jul 6, 2012I currently have a 16g iphone 4s. I am swapping phones with my brother, and went to wipe the phone with the built in reset from settings. "Erase All Content and Settings". I clicked it and it immediately went to the "loading" screen where it is just a black screen with the white cirle, continuously circling. Now ive done this before and it took only a few minutes to reset. But this time around, i am currently going on 3 hours of it "Resetting".is there a shortcut, should i open phone up and unplug battery? let it die out? or wait it out and keep it plugged in??

May 2, 2012I cannot get past the Set up Iphone page when trying to transfer my old 3S phone to new 4s, all my contact etc carries over to the new phone but everytime i connect back to the iTunes it ask me to do the same thing. I am trying to set the new phone back to factory settings but it asking for a restriction passcode, I dont have one???

May 21, 2010I have a big problem and I hope someone is able to help me. So i recently bought an iPhone 3g on ebay and it was already unlocked and jailbroken. I wanted to delete the contacts in there so I did the "erase all contents and settings." The things is, I did not know I was not suppose to do that to a jailbroken iPhone. Now my phone is stuck on the logo screen with the loading wheel thing. I did not look at the firmware version or any other specs. I also tried to do a restore on itunes, but I got "iphone could not be restored error 20." I am new to this, can someone please help me?
