I have had the X6 for a few months now and I previously had the 5800. On the 5800 the screen used to disable itself when I was on the phone but on the X6 it keeps the screen live meaning that I keep putting people on hold or muting myself! So everytime I'm in the phone I keep having to lock the phone or hold it far away from my face.

My Phone is always putting ppl on hold and or calling them again how do I stop this. I have tried locking the phone while im on a call but this still dose not work. Is there another way to stop this or taking the hold, mute and add participant buttons off
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhilst on a call this morning my phone randomly called Orange answer phone and put my original call on hold, I cancelled the answer phone call and went back to original then within the next minute the original call went quiet and I heard the ringing tone and discovered it was randomly calling a number (it was not a saved contact and I had to go through history later to see where it had come from and found it was a call I had received last Saturday - so not even a call in recent history) I have no speed dials set up - I did double check this! When prompted I did the latest upgrade last week to v7.1 bundle 1149(v7.1.0.342 - platform 5.1.0.276) and was pleased was prompted to do this as it included the update to wifi calling which I need in certain areas though I didn't have it enabled today.

How do i get music onto my X6 from my PC? I've installed Ovi Suite, tried all the updates for phone and different connection settings(mass media, pc suite etc) but my PC and Ovi both say i don't have a memory card installed? I'm not good with phone and tech in general, but doesn't the x6 16gb have 16gB of memory??? How do i get my PC to recognise this so i can transfer from my PC to my phone?

I have like 100 mb of memory, I install 5.0 over wireless update today for verizon and now I have like 40 mb of memory. Which is not enough. I know the OS wasn't that big. It has to have 4.7 still on there right? How do I delete those files? Why didn't it delete it before? Or did it create some kind of backup file on my phone when I did the wireless update? I didn't do it through DDM. Please help because I don't have enough memory to get a bunch of apps anymore because I went to 5.0

My problem is putting music on the phone. I have never been able to do that with an ipod without major drama, and i hoped this would be different, but i has so far been a failure. I popped a cd into my pc and loaded up media player, then plugged in my phone to my pc and basically my pc can't or won't allow my phone to sync. I can get to the 'connected media' screen on my phone and i have;

when i click any of them it says;Authorisation failed- Unable to access the selected media server. please ensure that you have access rights for this server.And nothing shows up in the 'connect a device' box on WMPlayer either.
Some M4V and mp4 files will not play when on my external sd card, but will if i put them on the actual phone drive?Is it a problem with my SD card maybe, as its only a 32gb cheap card off ebay.Sometimes the phone also says no sd card inserted when there actually is.

I know that this is an extremely idiotic question but looking online, there are web pages on how sync between Google calendar, but no sign of hotmail!
I saved my calendar onto the computer and I got an iCal(ics) file and apparently, nokia PC suite don't accept this file type! I tried to use sync, but the only half the calendar came out correctly while some meetings came out as saying tentative or nothing.In some parts of the calendar, there are two meetings at once, this displays fine on outlook, but will this affect the view on the phone?

Doesn't have any service at all. I was wondering if I took the SIM card out of the Nokia and put it in my Bold.. what would happen? With this set-up she has a password lock for the screen, which works fine and she knows exactly what she's doing with. Then about four weeks down the line she tells me she woke up one morning, typed in her password but was told it was wrong and she had 9 attempts left. View 4 Replies View RelatedIn the last week or so my phone keeps putting itself into silent mode, so it doesn't ring when someone is calling me or make a sound when I get messages. This is a nuisance as I keep missing calls. The only way that I can get the phone to ring is to restart the phone, however it will then randomly set itself back into silent mode at some later point in time. When I go into sounds and notifications it will not allow me to increase the ringer volume.
