Jan 15, 2012I have nokia X7 at first I have no problem connecting to wifi. I can connect and can browse internet but after a week can still connect to wifi but the problem is a can't connect to the internet I can't open even google and it says "Browser unable to connect to website". And it also happening at home sometimes i can connect to wifi and can brows to internet but most of the time I cant browse to internet and at my work until now I cant open internet via wifi even the connection is 100%. And when I check to connection manager "status connection (inactive). I also do restore factory settings but I have same problem, I didn't change any setting in my nokia x7.

Apr 18, 2011My son's Nokia X2-00 has a strange problem. If you unlock the phone or press red key in locked state, when the phone was in stand-by for some time, the clock is not correct - it shows the last hour:minute when the phone was used. After un-locking and some fiddling with the phone the clock becomes correct. The phone is not yet updated with 8.17 and is still with 4.90.

The differenceto european summertime should be of 6 and a half hours.This is due to a change that the venezuelan authorities made about 2 years (2009) ago. Feb 13, 2010I have a Nokia N97 and am having a couple of problems with it.Software Version 20.0.0.019. (There is an update to v2.1, but when I check for updates it says that no updates are available, so to double check I typed my code into the "check if my device is compatible with upgrade etc..." and it says that the current compatible version is 20.0.0.019.
Are some N97's compatible with the update and others not?The most annoying problem I have at the moment is that even when a WLAN network is available, setup and tested as being able to be used for surfing the web or for applications, there are some applications (Ovi Store is one of them), that refuse to use the WLAN and instead wants to use the much more expensive internet provided by GPRS I think..
So I tried deleting the GPRS connection (in destinations/internet) in an effort to stop the software for selecting that connection and hopefully defaulting or allowing me to select my wireless network, which were all set with a higher priority than the GPRS connection, even before I deleted it.
Imagine my amusement when it still wanted to use the GPRS connection, and somehow managed to, even though the connection is no longer setup on my N97.Does anyone know if there is a setting I am overlooking or something I am missing?

Mar 18, 2012Starting about 3-4 weeks ago my security code on my credit cards have been incorrect, they are not incorrect. I can't update my apps, and this is really starting to **** me off. May 31, 2011ive just updated my nokia x3 but when i updated it ovi suite restored my phone using an old backup file. this backup file held a diffrent security code which ive forgotten. ive spoke to nokia and the care point in sailsbury. the repair point says i shouldnt be charged for the repair. im awaing a responce from nokia, about them charging me if i use the repair option on the website. I dont feel i should pay as ive followed the instructions that ovi suite gave me. i think the repair should be free. i was really shocked after the update and then my phone asked me 4 the code. i thought that the nokia software updates were fully tested before realsed to be installed into customers phones. i cant belive it

Mar 10, 2010I've recently bought a Nokia 5800 xm and have been able to connect it to my home internet using the wlan wifi.
I can only use the wifi if i go to settings>connectivity>wlan. If i go straight to internet, it tries to connect to t-mobile internet. This also happens when trying to use applications such as bbc iplayer and the ovi store.
Is there a way of setting the wifi connection as the default connection? If not, is there a way of setting up my applications so they connect using wifi?

From time to time, any of the apps I use (from the official Internet browser, to Foursqure, Opera Mini, Gmail, or any other that need Internet access for that matter) don't even give me the dialogue to chose an Internet connection. I just get a message: Unable to connect to Internet.
I'm pretty sure all my settings are ok, especially because this happens sometimes (from never per day to always per day/session) and there are no rules when it starts working again. Sometimes it needs a few phone restarts, sometimes it just need some time.
So basically, the applications don't try to evoke Internet access. Even if I already have a constant Wi-Fi connection, they still don't see it "or even try to do so by asking".
