On my Nokia X3-02, whenever I long-press "1" to access mailbox, I get to choose if I want to go to the voice call mailbox or the net call mailbox. I do not use the net call mailbox, it's not even defined, and even setting calls to "voice only" won't get rid of this menu. Is there a way to revert the situation so that a call will be made directly to the voice call mailbox without reverting to factory settings?
View 2 RepliesI tried installing in vain an interesting VoIP application called spokn (http://www.spokn.com/cgi-bin/nokia.cgi) on my N97mini. As it didn't work after installation I decided to remove it.After removing it also, I see that it has not deleted Call mailbox setting that it created while installing. If I go to Settings > Calling > Call Mailbox I see account listing with , but there is no option to remove it. In the options I only see "Call internet call mailbox".How does one get rid of this please. (as this causes extra tab to be appearing in my contacts)

View 3 Replies View RelatedI don't have the option to turn the 3G signal off. There's no setting for the dual mode or gsm. Only Operator selection and cell info display options are available. By the way i'm using a Rogers Canada X7. I want to conserve the battery more, so gsm mode will suffice.

Or to set them to trigger something rather harmeless. My father doesn't use them that much. Besides, he finds himself pressing them too easily and oops there it goes the radio blasting through the loudspeaker.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI've somehow managed to make several 911 calls by accidentally pocket-dialing off the lock-screen. Is it possible to disable this? Once the lock screen (with PIN) comes up, the emergency call button is fairly prominent.
I'm trying Hidden Lock now and it does allow me to remove the emergency call button entirely, but after unlocking, I still have to slide to unlock (so it's a double-action to unlock from the PIN).
This annoying feature is on the lock screen, left of Alternative Password. I put my phone in my pant pocket throughout the day, and accidentally make at least 2 emergency calls per day. I have tried to delete all contacts in my emergency group, but somehow it manages to randomly read them.
Is there a way to disable this feature altogether like unchecking the camera on the lock screen?
Is there a way to disable notifications only during calls? It would be nice to have a conversation without the Words with Friends chime in my ear every few minutes.

I have this problem with my Iphone4 on IOS7.1.1. One fine day without i realize my kid played with the phone while in the locked mode. Since i know the phone is locked, i didn't bother to look what they were doing. Now I realize the potential problem, that when they play with the phone they started to click on emergency button and started to press random number on the keypad. Last month billed it start to hit my pocket. Below picture some of the number that were made.Â
Question : How do i disable or get rid of the emergency call on the locked button.

When I select delete.. first it displays..'Delete entry from list?' but when I select 'Yes', it shows 'Invalid Selection'..If I call to these numbers..the details change to the latest call details (i.e. the date, time, duration,etc..) but when I try to delete them again shows the earlier details.Actally there were almost 15-20 entries in the call log when I performed the delete action.. View 3 Replies View Relatedthe phone occasionally turns off when i call, or recieve a call (i hear a click and phone turns off). i have to manually start it again. sometimes the problem persists for a few next calls, while sometimes it doesn't. anyways,i usually let it be for a day or two, and use my old phone. but this is getting really frustrating now, after all, i bought it to use it!i have tried the hard reset, the factory reset. i took it to the official repair shop here in my country, where i demanded they take away the **bleep** vodafone, preventing me to update further than v20 firmware.the repair shop gave it back, saying there are no more problems. im taking a guess even they did those soft/hard resets. i have the latest firmware (v30) and yes the phone does work much faster, but just now i did get another shutdown when having a conversation ! i even uninstalled pretty much all not needed apps (facebook, Internet, accuweather, games, ...) on the new firmware.i cannot have such a unpredictable phone, especially when i am working and have to take important calls. imagine how it is, when the phone dies in the middle of important conversation with the boss/costumer.
