May 20, 2010I've had my N97 for about 6 months and it has been the worst nokia experience. 7 days after purchase, i had to take my device to nokia care for the much documented camera scratch issue. it took a month for them to fix it. my device keeps crashing and freezing every now and then, and tiny scratches are reappearing on the camera lens. now that its out of warranty, i'd need to pay for repairs even though its a knows issue.And there's this weird issue i face every now and then, captured images wont show up in the 'photos' app, although they are visible in file manager. A *¤7370¤ corrercts the problem, but then again the issue reappears in a couple of weeks. Nokia care suggests to reset the device. so its like this:I reset my device every two weeks for it to work correctly. my next device i'm afraid, is not going to be a nokia.

(My local bar tender knows to put two coasters down, one for a drink and another for my iPhone), but I recently noticed that on the back camera that the glass is really scratched up that covers the lens. Sep 4, 2015I suddenly got a problem with camera. The trigger button on the screen disappears. Then when I look closely, the display (not ths camera preview, but the whole interface of the camera) is magnified. Which means that the trigger button is located somewhere outside the screen. And the side menu only shows 2 icons with another 1 only partially shown on the border. I have tried clearing the cache, restart, etc with no avail.

Jun 18, 2014I love my new M8. I previously had the HTC One S, and when in camera mode, you had a camera OR video button at the same time.
On the M8, I see this setup for my front facing camera, but on the rear facing, I have to keep going into the menu and selecting one or another. I frequently flip back and forth, and it's soooo annoying. I'll be ready to snap a pic and oops I left it on video mode. Then I have to stop the video and go back and change. And when you're taking pics of a 9 month old baby, they don't understand to stop and wait a few seconds.
Anyways... is there some kind of setting to display both the camera and video button on the same screen at the same time? I looked around but couldn't find anything.

Oct 10, 2012I noticed that my Lumia 800 has a scratch inside of the screen. The scratch doesnt appear to be on top of the screen but underneath it. Its kinda noticeable specially when looking at the phone under the sunlight. I just got this phone for a day. I got the phone in the afternoon and only saw the scratch in the evening.I wonder if there are other issues about a Lumia having a scratch underneath the screen.

There are times when I need to take a picture and send it out through email, however upon opening the camera today I find that the view finder and the pictures it takes are upside down. All menus and overlays are in their correct position and right side up. I can't find any settings that would reverse this effect, and what's more is I don't really see that much about it on the web. This is a new problem that I've only just encounted, the phone was not always like this. I really don't want to go back to the sprint store again.

Jan 29, 2012I take new photos on my blackberry 9900 they wont open or display... so the photo shows for the few seconds after i have taken it, then i can send it to someone if i want to within about 5 min of taking it - then if i try to access it later the photo doesnt open and i just get the picture icon instead? The first 30 odd photos I took in the begining are still there but all my newest ones dont open, I have tried downloading them to my computer but then it says :file format not supported on all the defective photos?
