Jan 3, 2013Unless I'm missing something, a comma no longer functions as a pause in the dialing system for a saved contact since the update. It used to be handy for dialing extension numbers, authorization codes etc. but they seem to be ignored after the update. There is also no apparent way to edit a phone number with any character other than the ones on the dialpad.

Nov 5, 2010I followed all the steps given on Sony Ericsson site of updating android 2.1 from 1.6 on my phone Xperia 10. It went through all the steps successfully and end up successfully stating that update completed. But after that when i check the version in my phone, it is still 1.6

Aug 18, 2012Just a day back i connected my phone to my pc and got a notification from PC companion saying that a update is there for my phone.I accepted this and the update started[note: i had updated my phone to ICS 4.1.B.0.463 or something and then i got themsg to update to 4.1.B.0.578] the contents got downloaded then it started to update half way through it got stuck and then got a error saying " Update was not succesfull" so i tried some more times did everthing according to procedure but still same problem and now my phone not even starting

I've gone through all the steps and phases and the software is telling me it's up to date yet there are no changes to my phone at all except the wiping of all my files that I've backed up. The phone is still on 1.6, I still have only 3 home screens and everything else is the same. I've gone through the update twice now and nothing has changed.

Oct 15, 2011I updated the software to 2.3.4, a small blue facebook icon appeared on my status bar, saying: Unabla to sync facebook, or something like that, in hungarian. When I delete this from the status bar, it appears again in seconds, even when I'm on wifi or 3g, and using facebook. So it' driving me crazy, can't make it go away,In the settings menu, at sync settings, my emails and the facebook are synchronised, but facebook inside xperia is not, and there is a green circle next to the others, but this one has red circle and saying there were problems with the sync, it's gonna continue later.is it just because the facebook inside xperia app is not updated yet?

When i click on the repair phone due to Battery Dained out quickly issue, the PCC or the SU is saying "Modified Software cant be repaired or updated".As per the given instruction in blog i have unlocked the Bootloader but didnt rooted my phone. I am not sure when i havent touched anything in my phone except the Bootloader, why PCC cant repair the phone keeping the bootloader unlocked or change the bootloader locked again to original Factory Settings?

But after the update it randomly restarts several times during the day even I left phone without any activity. But I want to highlight I used Sony PC Companion to update the firmware and during the update process I left the sim card within it and several times it failed the update with no exact error code but it said update failed kind a thing. But I think I finally figured out the reason for that pc companion related problem because my OS was windows 8 consumer preview. So I tried the update using windows 7 and it went properly.
