I want to sent it to warranty service. When I keep my phone in hand signal vary all the time and very often i can see that i have no access to my network, it happens also in big city. The other problem is electrostatic noise which was mentioned several times. I'm afraid service will do nothing so I wanted to ask what should I do to get my phone fixed (I read a lot of people had to sent their phone several times and wait 2 weeks every time until it was fine).
I'm looking forward to buy an Xperia Mini Pro. And I heard that there is an Electrostatic NOISE coming out from that phone. Is it true? If so what is the manufactured date rage which has the fault? can it be 100% solved with the software upgrade ?
I had Gingerbread 4.0.2.A.0.62 and no electrostatic noise in video capture (voice recorder programs had noise but not the video capture programs). Yesterday I upgraded to ICS and now it makes this cicada noise when recording video in QVGA and VGA modes but not in 720p and FWVGA and the video consumes alot of MB very fast.
My Z5C plays a sound when it loses or acquires mobile network signal. This is very, very annoying in areas where network coverage is bad. How to turn it off? I remember it being easy pre-5.1.1, but now i can't find any way to do it.
I have recently purchased a Z3 Dual sim D6633 and around twice a day either when receiving or making a call the phone suddenly drops out during conversation and both network strength bars are showing no signal. a message briefly shows up saying no no network signal ( or something to that effect ) then dissappears. A few seconds later the signal comes back for both sims and all is ok again. Why this is happening but its becoming frustrating especially when I have to call clients back.
My XPERIA Active (ST17I) lose connection to cell operator network, very often. For Your information, other brand phone with the same Sim card works proper with stable connection, in the same place and time. After investigation, turn GSM only and cell operator (Kyivstar UA) selected manually, my phone has little bit better network registration, but still lose network sometimes for no reason. Firmware updated to last version, but no changes for the above issue.
I have an exclamation mark (-!) on each call on my log list, I can't also check my balance I.e *144# isn't responding. What could be the cause of this? My device also looses network frequently...
I'm having a strange problem with my new Xperia Z3 Dual ever since I updated it to Lollipop. I’m using two SIM cards from two different operators. But every morning I notice that there is no signal available for SIM2. Signal comes back to normal on SIM2, if a call received or if I made an outgoing call from SIM1. Otherwise I have to switch on to Airplane Mode and switch it off every time to get the signal back. Because of this issue the battery drains so fast during night (due to loss of signal for 6-7hrs). And also I notice sudden call drops during conversations within 5-10 minutes after receiving or making a call.
I checked the same SIM using another phone to get verified whether this issue is related with the operator. But there I didn’t notice this strange behaviour. Hopefully this is something related with my Xperia Z3 Dual. I’m using WCDMA(Preferred)/GSM on SIM1 and GSM Only on SIM2.
I've been a happy xperia mini pro (android 4.0.4) owner for 8 months however today i started experiencing a repetitive static noise thump which appeared during all my calls. I wanted to find out more about this problem eventually any fixes, and if problems such as this would be covered by the warranty.
Everytime I receive a phonecall my phone neither makes a noise or vibrates I set the ringtone back (a song on my memory card) and i've set the volume to max but somewhere down the line it reverts back to ringone being set to 'none'
During phone calls, for no particular reason, a specific noise appears and I can't continue the conversation. Just hang up and call again. The same noise can be heard by the other side too.
Friends described it "like aliens invaded my phone"
I have updated my phone, tried the "repair" option on my PC and nothing? This malfunction costed me a lot!
On the new phone Nokia 2700 classic (after official upgrade to firmware ver. 09.95) periodically disappears icon of a signal of a network, after a while phone show the message "Error of registration of a sim card" and an inscription "there is no service" on the screen. After disappearance of the indicator of a network it is impossible to make a call and to fulfil USSD-inquiry, while on other phone (other brand) with a SIM-card of the same operator the network works absolutely normally. The network appears only after device reboot, hand-held search of a network does not help even. Network miss is often observed at attempt to be connected to EDGE, also the signal can disappear and itself, without what or my operations, in a standby mode. Replacement of a SIM-card has not given any result. Phone works in a range 1800 MHz.
I'm having problems with my iphone 4s it keeps dropping calls and then loosing the network temporarily. I'm in the UAE, anyone else experienceing the same here or elsewhere? I have read it might be related to the ios 5.0.1 update, which I did last week, and then the problem started.
Since the recent update to Market I lose my data connection every time I go to "My Apps" to check for updates. The H+, up/down arrows and signal bars on the notification bar change color from blue-green to black and the data connection is broken. Other apps say "no network connection." Cycling power corrects. Have not experienced this problem with WiFi (only one attempt to date).
I have bought a sim free experia mini pro and just don't know how to get with a network? I keep seeing the stuff about getting a SD card but they don't seem to be with a network so how do I get my phone registered with a network? I am currently with Orange on my old phone.

Will Sony release the ICS with the ability to take video calls form the 3g network? Currently we can only take video calls through 3rd party apps like Skype and with the data connection on.
I just got my new xperia x10 mini and I tried to search my adhoc security enabled WiFi network, but unfortunately the phone didn't find it. Any got any idea what the problem can be?
I am extremely disappointed with Sony.I purchased my first sony phone Xperia mini Pro. With GB all 3 G data connection and all network connections worked perfectly fine.Upgraded to official ICS. Now I can not connect to 3 G data network at all.Wasted almost 2 days thinking that this is a problem with my network service provider. After searching Google it looks like bug in Sony ICS upgrade. I had a high respect for Sony. Now I feel terrible. I feel my switching from Nokia to Sony is a big mistake.I am from India. Can any body tell me how to fix this problem on ICS on Sony Xperia Mini pro.Should I go back to GB ?
Phone was updated recently to Android 2.1, now the home WiFi network is not being detected by the phone now, all other devices are detecting this home network except my SE x10 mini/pro, tried to follow all troubleshooting points mentioned on the website but of no use now, repaired it about 2-3 times via web but not of no use...
I've got data traffic, and Wi-Fi ticked and I can see my network on the Wi-Fi Networks list but when I click on it and enter the password beneath Wi-Fi it says "disconnected".What's even weirder is that I managed to connect the phone to the internet the first time I booted it up for five minutes, but since then I haven't been able to recreate that success . What should I do?
I have a brand new SK17i and it seem great ... everything is workig as it should! I have a problem with data usage of a process named "network location" and I have GPS, and location via WiFi turned off from day one.Is there any way to turn this process off since it's using around 15% of my rather small data package?
I have the following problem: network reception has disappeared completely on my SE Xperia X 10 mini. So I can't call or receove calls. I tried other sim cards, it doesn't receive too. The problem is in phone. I didn't drop the phone, network reception has just disappeared during the night. I can't even find where its antenna is located.
What will I do,I cannot access internet thru my mobile network since my phone was already manual configured in mobile network? In wifi it works but in my mobile network doesnt..
I just updated my phone software to new build number 4.0.2.A.0.62 After the update, access to 3G network was loss.Browsing the web and even the Android market becomes impossible.
