After the phone on sleep for sometime, when launch the camera from locked screen or shutter button, auto focus and touch focus functionality is not working. Therefore, the phone capture blurry image.
And yes launching the camera sometimes laggy and display only black background.
Not installed any third party apps which kill background apps.
I am looking for a way to disable the startup sound when launching the camera using the dedicated camera button. I have checked the settings and have only found an option to disable the shutter sound while taking a picture but not the startup sound.

I have downloaded a few themes and berryweather and I don't know if its my imagination but when going into to view photographs in the media section I think it takes longer than it should - I will need to check this against my brothers 9700 which hasn't been altered at all.I also have capture it, does this run in the back ground and maybe is the cause, meaning QL would be worth it as it replaces the need for capture it?
Is there a way to program the flashlight to launch instead of Quick Memo with the volume Up button from a locked screen? I found an app that will do that, but it disables the volume down button, which I use regularly for photos (brilliant job, LG!)

Regardless of whether you launch Ovi from the quick launch type thing on the homescreen or on the menu, it doesn't work.
If you attempt to click on the icon on the homescreen, nothing happens.
If you click on it on the menu screen, the clock in the top right corner flickers and nothing happens.
I can't bear another hard reset, but i guess if i have to i will, any ideas?
I tried opening Device manager (not desktop manager) to fix the gps problem on my phone per a thread i found right here on crackberry. I downloaded all the necessary software to do the fix, but when i open up Device Manager, i only get an icon on the quicklaunch bar on the bottom right side of the screen, once i open it, all it shows me is "Properties" and it doesnt open the actual Device Manager.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Mobile Data quick launch icon disappeared into oblivion on the 11th June 2015 in Macau. I am Malaysian. Since this could be a global problem looking at the postings here, I guess Samsung has to do something before important icons disappear again.
This problem of icons disappearing could be prevalent in 5.0.2. or maybe specific to Samsung Galaxy S6 only.
OK my quick launch weather is not working i tried everything, It installed successful it says but after it says that this popped up Uncaught exception: Module with handle [5068] and index [0] has no application entry point. I uninstalled then reinstalled it,, battery pulled nothing is working. Im on 4.5.0.186 metro pcs 8330m curve

My camera seems to have corrupted autofocus functionality "it seems to be locked on infinity and I cannot focus on any object. I know that autofocusing should normally be triggered by long-tapping camera button in the default application, but it never happens". I always get red focusing mark and a blurry photo.
This behavior is observed on both 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 with default application, Camera ZOOM Ex, Camera 360 and lgCamera. I tried every focusing setting (auto, infinity, macro), but no luck. I also tried to clear application data for Camera app, but it didn't give any results either.
I opened service menu > service tests > camera, and after tapping on screen I got a message: 'Autofocus failed, taking picture anyway'.
Here's an example of my photo: As you can see, it is of quite poor quality. It was taken from approximately 25-30 cm above surface, with 'Macro' focus settings and other settings in default state.
I really love the Motion Launch gestures except the volume button that wakes the phone and launches the camera app.
Launching the camera app by mistake is annoying and it happens from time to time.
I tried Settings > Display & gestures > Motion Launch gestures but it looks like I'll have to disabled the whole thing.
Why is there no autofocus option in the Nokia camera app, or even the Microsoft Camera app, when Blink, by Microsoft, has it enabled by default?
View 11 Replies View RelatedSo i've had my blackberry 8900 for a year now & it's very convenient for me to just press the clicking letters of a contact name and have it narrow down my contacts to the person i want. That way, i don't have to click on the contacts icon and start finding a name.I just took out the battery of my phone & put it in a couple minutes later because of some other issues, & now i can no longer do that anymore! I press buttons when i'm on the home screen and nothing happens; there isn't the convenient shortcut to finding/narrowing down a contact anymore.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have am using an X10 mini pro and when attempting to launch the messaging app, it crashes and i have to force close. I have the latest software (2.1.1.A.0.6) and 2.1 firmware.
It started when simply viewing a message, I had not installed anything recently.
When using the camera button to take a photo I must half press the button to trigger the autofocus. If I just full press the button the camera will just take the photo, but 9 out of 10 will be out of focus because autofocus has not been triggered. If I touch the screen, the phone first focus and then shots. Is there some setting to force the autofocus even when I press fully the camera button? I want the camera button click to behave just like the screen touch. Is this possible?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy nokia 5800 takes many time to autofocus i.e. changing of bracket from yellow to green. Firstly I can see zooming of lens in and out during autofocus, but now I can't. As a result the pic it shoots is blurred. When i compare the picture quality of 5800 with 5233 (2 mp), I found quality of 5233's pic is far better than 3.2 mp carl zeiss lens.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm currently happy with my Gingerbread but I really want that option to just slide the lcok screen to the left and it will launch the camera app. Right now, in it's place is the Sound option which will let me silence and unsilence the phone by swiping to the left. I hardly use this feature and would be happy to replace it with one for image capturing just like on ICS.
View 5 Replies View RelatedThe drag down quick settings menu has disappeared from my Z3. Dragging down from the top with 2 fingers does not bring the menu down. Neither can I use the notifications at the top right to access the menu. However, I get to the sounds setting panel by using the volume button.
Tried this:Settings > personalization > Quick settings
but I do not see Quick Settings option.
I have discovered that post lollipop software update (not to android 5 but the update to it) the start up chime is now linked to the media volume and not the system volume.
This means that if I'm listening to music or watching a movie and leave the media volume up, the chime will play - incredibly annoying considering the system is on silent.

This is a huge pain when you are taking a photo and have to go through several steps to turn on a light that should have been an automatic flash to begin with or at least have a quick toggle button on the same camera screen. This is nuts not to have this at an instant when it is so important to have to take some pictures. the new 2.1 (I cannot tell since I live in the USA and we are getting the shaft on the new update--everyone else is getting it before us and no one will say when we are getting it)
View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased the Z3+ yesterday and when starting a first charge (30mins as advised in the setup guide) the battery began at 32% charge, i left it for 30 mins and it only got to 38%. It took a good 1hour + for a full 100% charge.
I've now recharged again today and its taken 3hours for a full 100% charge from 0%, is this correct?? I have read it can take 45mins for a full charge.
Current android version is 5.0.2. My active quick settings doesn't seem to be working from the 2nd row onward be it if it s airplane mode or auto-rotate quick shortcut. However when it is on the top row it works.
Same with notification message/mail. I can only swipe them if they are at the top half.
I am experiencing the following behavior in my Xperia:
It is important to notice that I didn't removed such icons, because IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. When you remove/insert icons on this panel, they auto arrange in this screen. So it is not possible to leave the screen with these "holes".
This happens when I switch users in the phone. The guest user does not have the same icons than the proprietary, so when I switch back, my icons are not restored. To workaround I have to edit this menu and move any icon, or restart the phone.
I seem to have lost my sound controle from the quick menu after updating to lollipop.. How do I mute my phone?

View 3 Replies View RelatedA friend is having troubles with his Z3 : He used to take pictures with the quick camera launch button, but since a recent camera or system update, when he use this button, the camera is set to automatic mode instead of manual, with poor resolution and quality settings. If he launches the camera with the standard button from the phone menu, everything is fine and perfectly set up.
When the camera is used from the quick button and set back to the correct quality settings and manual mode, after closing it, it goes back to auto mode with bad settings. Same thing when he slides the camera icon from the locked screen. The only way to get the proper settings when launching the camera is to use the icon from the phone's menu.
He tried a lot of things, from uninstalling the camera updates to searching everywhere on the internet, there is no information or messages about this problem.
I have an IBM thinkpad T41 with WIndows XP Pro, Service Pak 2.I had Nokia's PC suite 7.1.51 running just fine for quite some time- Weeks.Then all of a sudden it wont open or launch. Icon is still on the desktop, but nothing happens when I try to launch it. I've tried removing it and re-installing, I've tried copying it from another computer that has the same configs, I've tried all the disscussion group solutions and I've tried pulling my hair out while kicking and screaming Nothing is working! What is going wrong and why wont it open? I'm using Norton 360 also, but it was in place when the original was working. I've got a E71 with a CA-101 cable.
