Since I updated my Z2 to Lollipop i keep finding my phone set to Priority Mode. i do not know why this happens but i am sure i do not set it accidentally. i also confirmed that i do not have priority mode scheduled for specific day/time. it also occures at random time of the day so schedule is not a possibility.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm using an N5 with stock 5.01, rooted with twrp. During the night I used to use a tasker profile for when sleeping that did pretty much what priority Mode does by allowing my started contacts calls and messages to get through and alert me. With priority Mode now available, I use tasker to just trigger that instead.
But I'm having an issue with my messages. I use Handcent as my default messaging app and when I get an sms from a starred contact when in priority Mode it does not sound. I installed google messenger to check and when it's set to default messaging app I get the notification since no issues. Switch back to Handcent and no luck again.
I use Handcent because I like the pop up alert in it, but more so because I can schedule sms messages for a particular time, which is a feature I do use a bit. So if rather not change from it. Why the alert doesn't sound in Handcent during priority Mode.
So I have Priority Mode set at night so I won't get bothered by notifications, but I also have Ambient Mode on and even on Priority Mode it still lights up. Is there any way to set it so that my screen doesn't light up when Priority Mode is set? My room is pretty dark and I keep seeing my screen light up at night when I'm trying to go to sleep.

And sometimes it simply tells the caller that I am engaged. I don't understand it, but would prefer incoming calls to override the podcast playback.

now i have another screen and for some reason the brightness is stuck on the lowest setting no matter what it says in the settings (i can have it on the highest in the settings and still nothing!).
normally if my phone was om extended Standby Mode and I wasn't using my phone, I wouldn't receive notifications from F.e. Facebook, Whatsapp etc. I haven't selected apps that should be active in extended mode. And now all of a sudden I'm getting notifications in extended Standby Mode even when I'm not using the phone and no apps are allowed to be active.

After 3 weeks of horrible service, I bought the phone out, and moved over to Virgin Mobile, (which does have LTE), I had My Z3 unlocked, put in the proper APN, and the phone will not switch to LTE, in fact there is not even an option to switch to it. View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had the phone for less than a month. Every time I turn my phone on the Airplane Mode ON is showing on the startup screen, but when I go into settings it is unticked, so meant to be off.
Also, I've noticed that the NFC has sometimes been automatically ticked in the settings when I turn it on.
I did a factory reset, but that never changed anything.
I then contacted Sony Support and took their advice to go into PC Companion and click Software Updates, then Repair, which it did, but it is still coming on in Airplane Mode, even when unticked in settings.
My mobile network has been disconnected because of it and is telling me I can't make calls until Flight Mode is switched off, even when I switch it off on the startup screen too.
I had issues with the power button on my phone and had to hard reset it. It rebooted in safe mode and so I reset the phone and then deleted all of my apps.
I tried to reboot again to take it out of safe mode but it just stays in safe mode. I can't download any of my apps anymore.
I have problems with Stamina Mode. It doesn't work for majority of the apps. Meaning, even if I don't whitelist an app in the stamina mode, their notifications shows up and they send/receive data: Pushbullet, Gmail, Twitter are only few examples. So basically the connection is not shut down when in stamina mode.

This is a nuisance as I keep missing calls. The only way that I can get the phone to ring is to restart the phone, however it will then randomly set itself back into silent mode at some later point in time. When I go into sounds and notifications it will not allow me to increase the ringer volume.

I got as far as unlocking the bootloader but now that I need to put it into recovery mode I found out I can't. I have tried multiple methods, the power off then power on while pressing the volume bottons and other variations of that. I also tried usind android-sdk the "adb reboot recovery", and it took awhile to figure that out and once i got it to work all it did was reboot the device. It did not go into reovery mode, I don't get an LED light when i power the phone on like most of the guides say I should be getting. I'm getting really frustrated, I've searched far and wide on the internet for a similar problem and all of the instances i have found have been on rooted phones so the fix is easy, this phone has never been rooted, only the bootloader has been unlocked.

I have Nokia N8 from last 8 months. One thing I have noticed that is written below with fact.
1) at out city both 2G and 3G coverage are available by BSNL
2) when I keep my mobile in Dual mode then its catches 3G coverage
3) but when we go somewhere out from city where 3G coverage is not available then my mobile catches 2G coverage......and here problem starts when mobile have coverage and if I calls or do SMS or I got any call or SMS the mobile loses coverage each time for 10 seconds( at this time of 10 seconds if some call me then I will be out of coverage area even if I am front of the mobile tower this is the biggest problem I have ever faced in Nokia's phone ever) and again catches 2G signals This same thing happens every time when I am in 2G signals Nokia should solve this problem soon.
My Xperia z3 is currently saying "turn your phone off flight mode" before making a call, I don't have a network signal. The wifi is still working (that's how I'm writing this) so the phone isn't actually on flight mode. I've tried rebooting and resetting, turning flight mode on and off loads of times, and nothing.
This has started happening when the phone is switched off, last week it died during the night and this happened, and it just randomly came back on the next night. I switched it off this morning and I've not been able to get it on since.
