my z3 is stuck in flight mode but in settings it says it isnt, i cant make any calls cause of this and i have tried resseting, repairing with companion, rebooting and also restarting
I've had the phone for less than a month. Every time I turn my phone on the Airplane Mode ON is showing on the startup screen, but when I go into settings it is unticked, so meant to be off.
Also, I've noticed that the NFC has sometimes been automatically ticked in the settings when I turn it on.
I did a factory reset, but that never changed anything.
I then contacted Sony Support and took their advice to go into PC Companion and click Software Updates, then Repair, which it did, but it is still coming on in Airplane Mode, even when unticked in settings.
My mobile network has been disconnected because of it and is telling me I can't make calls until Flight Mode is switched off, even when I switch it off on the startup screen too.
My Xperia z3 is currently saying "turn your phone off flight mode" before making a call, I don't have a network signal. The wifi is still working (that's how I'm writing this) so the phone isn't actually on flight mode. I've tried rebooting and resetting, turning flight mode on and off loads of times, and nothing.
This has started happening when the phone is switched off, last week it died during the night and this happened, and it just randomly came back on the next night. I switched it off this morning and I've not been able to get it on since.
After turning my phone on after leaving it off for the day I am unable to connect to my Network Provider (Displays "No Service). When I look at my options it displays "Flight Mode On" under the power button options. I turn this off but it still shows Flight Mode selected under my Network Settings?
I've got a problem with my X10. It keeps on going into flight mode when it is in my pocketI think it is due to the fact my leg pushes the button on the upper left corner of my phone.I can't seem to lock the button.
I had flight mode on for the past hour but google emails were still coming through.I wont be using that function in hospitals and planes! I will be bored.
Bit of a problem with my X10. A few days after I updated my X10 it is stuck in Flight mode which I cannot get out of
But the strange things is that I can connect wifi while i am stucked in flight mode
I pull out the battery didnt work I tried to repair the phone by linking the photo to the computer. It said it has an error and repair cannot proceed I am running out of options...

I have had a Vivaz mobile phone since April this year. Can some help me? Why does it keep freezing, can't receive or send text messages, keeps going into flight mode and saying insert SIM card and the only way too stop it is by removing the battery it happens at least once a day it is driving me mad. I have taken it back to my vodaphone and they have updated it all and it is still the same. On speaking to several other people with this phone they are having the same problem, People I have spoken too have actually had their mobile phone sent for repair and it still comes back the same.
I just got my Xperia z3 about 2 weeks ago and it was running good until now. The problem is I don't receive any strong signal like before, right now I don't received any signal at all and when I make a call a pop up message comes on it says 'to make a call you have to turn off the flight mode' but the flight mode is off. I rest and restarted my phone but nothing changed.
When I switch between users, from main user to another user on my phone the flight mode icon is lost from expanding notification bar(or quick settings bar; beside WiFi and Bluetooth icon). I need to restart the device to get it back.
My device: Xperia Z3 Dual, Android Lollipop 5.1.1 .
I am using Nokia Lumia 1020. It has been having a trouble auto connecting Flight Mode. I can not use my mobile as a result of that. It connecting automatically WIFI connection as well. I can not off both Flight Mode and WIFI manually as they connecting automatically.
When I put my iPhone in flight-mode the GPS activates (small airplan next to battery symbole). If I turn off 'Setting Time Zone' under Location Services, System Services, GPS turns off..
My l520 is error when i try to turn off the flight mode. so i can not use my sim card. someone said, i have to downgrade. my os is lcyan. and when error, i checking the extras-info and its ldenim. so, i downgrade my os. and now,
After 5 months cool job my phone 2.3.3 GT-I9100 SGS2 running India distribution unlocked. Not rooted start showing constantly an icon of a plain as it was in flight mode and if you go to settings it shows that the flight mode is off. Also it is not recognising any SIM. Currently I am in UK.
I've been testing the E72 for a client but we've now been through three of them because of poor battery life; battery life on limited usage (2 or 3 calls, 15 minutes of web browsing and business hours Exchange active sync) results in all examples struggling to make 8 hours before the battery dies - just 1.6% of the quoted ~500 hours standby figure - surely that's not right? There are no active wifi connections, which reminds me: on the E72, how do you enable 'flight mode' and separately, disable just the wifi?Current device software version is 021.024.207.01; it can't find any updates to it.
when I tested this at home it worked. I'm now in cyprus connected to a wireless connection from which I'm sending this yet when I try and send an iMessage from iMessage in flight mode to be sure 100% that I am not getting charged it fails. If I turn all network connections back ok etc it just sends as a text!! I tested it in the uk before I left and it worked but now nothing?
Wirelessly posted (duncanmacleod: BlackBerry8330/5.0.0.438 Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/389) I started the camera on my Curve 8330 by touching the right side key and took a picture. When I tried to exit by hitting the back key, it remained stuck in camera mode, forcing me to battery pull. My OS is 5.0.0.438. What can cause this?
So my problem started yesterday when my phone got wet, not fell on water but water fell on it. I opened it up and dried it up, but when i connected it it wouldnt turn back on. So this morning i tried turning it on and it did.So my problem is that the phone is stuck in recovery mode, before that it just got stuck in the apple logo till i tried restoring it.
Itunes gives me error 6 and sometimes 13.i dont care what i have to do i just want my phone to work, i have att so i dont care about the baseband.
While attempting to update to 2.1 through SEUS, the installation failed, telling me that my battery was too low. The phone is now stuck in flash mode, the SE logo flashes for a brief moment, then I am met by a screen with a phone and an Exclamation Point in a triangle for awhile, then the phone restarts and does it again.
I have obviously tried removing the battery and trying again. SEUS has the same result every time I attempt this. I have also installed PC Companion, and one of two things happen 1) PC Companion completely hangs my Win7 (32bit) machine, or 2) Prepares to repair the phone, and while 'preparing', an error pops up and directs me to the webpage.
I have a problem with Xperia z 3.. It did not cam out from airplane mode (I was on off mode untill now) and I don't have now available Sim work (It showed me no signal when I am calling)...
My phone seems to have reverted to Airplane Mode without me touching this and i am unable to get this off. Whenever i select the Airplane Mode to OFF, it does state it is OFF, however, the actual phone still remains in this mode, therefore, i cannot make calls/send messages/emails etc.
My lumia 1520 started skipping around from screen to screen uncontrollably, then when I received phone calls no one could hear me. I could hear them. I tried to remove some apps like Cortana hoping it would work, and seen a button that said narrator, now I am unable to use my phone.
