Feb 27, 2015I've been having a strange problem with my z2... I've been using remote play on my vita for quite some time and I can say that I barely noticed any delay in control, however I just got my z2 and after I tried connecting via remote play I had troubles connecting (internet speed of this device may be slow error) but after I connect and try dualshock4 it actually has quite some delay and it's hard to play, same without dualshock, but the delay is not THAT bad, so to make this clear:
Remote play with vita: no delay, fine experience
Remote play with z2 & touch control: little delay, kinda harder to play
Remote play with z2 & DS4: delay, hard to play
I'm not quite sure if and how should I measure the delay and if there really is some delay difference between DS4 and touch controls, but how to at least reduce the delay with DS4
I'm connecting to remote play via internet, the ps4 is not "nearby" .... I have 2.4GHz router only

The main reason I brought my z3 (over an Iphone/samsung s6) was due to remote play.

Jun 6, 2012I have been unable to find anyone with a similar problem. My model is R800at and its running Android 2.3.3. My wifi and internet works fine. I am able to browse via wifi or 3g. I want to use my phone as a wi-fi hot spot but whenever I try and turn it on it says "turning on ... " forever without actually coming on.

Oct 13, 2015When I start a phone call with the speakerphone active the mic works fine but if I turn off the speaker phone on the same call the microphone goes to mute, therefore I have to turn on the speaker phone again to make the microphone work again. Dec 1, 2011I turned on my phone (Xperia X10/mini pro running Android 2.1-update 1) yesterday and found a message saying, "SD card being checked for errors". Turned off the phone and removed the card, checked the contacts, put the card back in. Turned the phone back on. Then got a range of errors. "SD card removed" "Insert SD card" "SD card being checked for errors". At the same time, the phone started turning itself off, a blank screen would appear and disappear, etc.
During the day, it would display an error saying that the SIM card couldn't be found. After removing the card, the battery and the SIM card several times, the phone started behaving normally but it now it can't see the SD card. I replaced the old SD card - which has been working fine for months - with a new one. Both are 2GB Sandisk cards. The phone displayed two messages: "Blank SD Card Found" and then "SD Card Removed" and now displays "SD Card Removed. Insert a new one."

Jan 25, 2012I phone recently developed a problem with touch screen becomming completely unresponsive. I googled and found its a common fault with Sony Handsets. Now let me explain the list of tasks i did in order to get it back to work but invane 1- Tested a new touchpad 2- Software update 3- Software downgrade 4- Deassembling and reassembling
i think i didn't miss anything but still its not responsive. It does sometimes response but if i do restart battery pull, open back case its unresponsive again. According to my knowledge its not a hardware issue as if its hardware and need new one i already tried that its software issue and it seems that entire screen is selected when i try to neviggate through the gaming keys. I am still unable to belive that sony ericsson has still not provided any fix for the issue. If anyone has any idea or any third party software for screen please advise.

Xperia PLAY :: Supported External Speaker For Play?
May 27, 2011I am looking to buy an external speaker to connect to my xperia play, preferably a sony branded one, but definately one that is portable enough to fit in my pocket.I thought I had found the one that fit the bill perfectly when I checked the sony site and found the MS 430 which is supposed to be fully compatible with the Xperia Play (it even doubles up as a phone stand, which is pretty neat).Now the problem is my jack is on the horizontal side of my phone (opposite side to the left flipper) and not on the top end as shown in the picture to connect a phone to this speaker.So therefore the speaker is not compatible with this phone, unless of course I have a unique phone with the jack in the wrong place or the phone is connected in the upright position, which wouldnt be very good when watching video playback.
