so my questions is how to check if the mentioned devices are genuine? e.g. by serial code, by certain features? (there are some products that provide a site where you enter your product serial and they will check for genuine)
Can you send me want to check to verify if a ca75u cable is genuine or not? i.e the stamp is white? does nokia manufactures cable at thailand or china or just finland? Is there any place I can check the serial number?

I have an E71 on Orange and wish to update to the latest Firmware. When I go to Ovi it tells me that new software is available and I go through the process of backing up data and readying the phone to load the update, then it tells me that there is a non genuine software/product which is incompatible and then stops.I have no idea what the problem is and I have been able to do updates before.
When trying to download any app I am asked for my apple id password and then its asking me for 3 questions with the answers. Is this genuine from apple?
Having trouble finding four new original soft-rubber bluey-green cases - I can never remember what color they started as before they faded - for 5210. They're the weather-resist bouncy ones as opposed to the generic non-Nokia replacements which seem to all be hard plastic.
I want to unroot my LG G3 but when I go to use flashtool I run through the process using the .dll file and .tot file. when i go through the process it says failed check phone or dll. even though my version is the correct version the D851.
I just got 2 used Samsung phones (i760 and i770), and wanted to know if there's a way to check how long the phones have been used? Is there a internal usage counter that can be revealed by punching in some code?
Please excuse if I am asking a silly question. Actually I got my BB Torch from an acquaintance who acquired it from US. For some reasons I am confused if I got a new handset. Is there a way I can find out if I was given a raw deal or it is actually a new phone.
We have recently had to downgrade our cell phone service for financial reasons, and sprint does not allow you to downgrade from a everything data plan to a talk and text plan only if you have a smartphone. As a result I had no choice but to turn off the phone service on my torch and use a much older non smart phone. I only recently purchased the torch 9850 and still use it daily in wifi areas. I would like to know how it may be possible to still check my email on it. I know I have other devices ( kindle) that are able to access my email accounts without having to use phone service. I would also like to know if any of the instant messaging capabilities would still work, although that I understand not working more so than the email.
I have a small question regarding a nexus 5. Is there a way to know if my Nexus 5 has ever been rooted? In my office, we are having a connectivity problem with a nexus 5 and after talking with google they request us to send them the phone. They asked if the phone is or has been rooted which, I guess, voids the warranty. We use the phones for developing software and research proejcts, and I know that some of them some times are rooted, some times use not official-roms, etc.
So despite it looks that the broken nexus 5 is a stock one, I'd like to check it and to make sure that it has never been rooted. Is there a way to do so?
Apparently the Nexus 5 is not rooted: play store apps say so, and the bootloader is locked. Still, I cannot be completely sure that the phone has never been unrooted. Is there a way to check that?
I just want to ask if there's a way to find out if my bootloader is unlocked? My TrackID stopped working when my friend borrowed my phone and upon searching here the only possible root cause it by having the bootloader to be unlocked but when I checked if I can update my phone via PC Companion it works fine loading and updating my FW/SW and now I really don't know what happened to this phone. I'm afraid that my friend did something to it and maybe he really unlocked my bootloader.
check internet usage? I'm with Orange on a monthly contract, think my allowance is 500GB a month? Is there a way to check usage as going along, dont fancy getting a bill at the end of the month which is huge! Say I use the internet (google, Facebook etc etc) one hour a day, is that a reasonable amount to be within the 500GB limit?Any information/advice on checking or assessing usage would be great?? So that I dont get a huge surprise when the monthly bill comes through.
I've just bought a Xperia Z3 but the LTE Frequency does not seem to work.I registered the phone on Sonymobile.com, but the software versión changes everytime I enter the site. For example, yesterday the version of software asociated to my phone was 23.2.A.1.62, today, earlier was 23.1.A.0.726, now the version I see is 23.0.A.2.93.
A friend told me that knowing the version of software asociated to my IMEI I can check if the model is the D6603 or the D6653.I bought the model D6603 because that is supposed to be the model that works with LTE frecuencies on my country. The D6653 does not work with LTE on my country.
I just would like to know: How can I possibly know if I have the latest software on my phone? Also, can anyone teach me how to read this on the phone (this is for the software version):
1225-2477 R1HA035 091210 SonyEricsson Would you be advising me to get an update?
Since upgrading to Windows Phone 8.1 I can't seem to check someones phone number without ringing it.
- I go into the Phone App - Bring up my address book, find persons name and select it - If I have two numbers for that person it brings up a screen showing both numbers and I can select one if I want to ring it. - But if I only have one number for a person, as soon as I select their name from the address book it starts ringing them - Which is annoying if I'm just trying to find out what their number is so I can write it down...or dial it from a different phone.
