I was using another sony phone like a modem to have internet in my computer with Sony ericsson pc suite. The problem is that now in Companion 2.0 I have not the possibility to connect my computer to internet with my phone.

I heard I just needed to install iTunes on the Windows computer, but the latest version is to refined. I found iTunes 8 on the Apple support pages, but the download button wasn't linked anywhere. If iTunes 8 for Windows would be all I need - where do I get it?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have problem for connecting N79 to PC I use OVI Suite version 2.2.0.245. when i connect PC to internet via OVI suite for first time , there isnt any problem and connects to internet and all webpages completely are loaded , but after a few minutes my browser doesnt work and doesnt load any page and shows " server not found". but the connection between the PC and mobile still exists. after that i disconnect the connection and reconnect but this time the connection doesnt establish and shows an error with the content of "PPP link". after that i go to "device manager" and disable the Nokia GSM Modem and then enable that. then i connect PC to internet via OVI Suite with no problem AGAIN!. there isnt any problem for loading page But AGAIN after some minutes the browser doesnt work ! recently I reinstalled windows XP, but still nothing changes!. even i use latest Nokia Connectivity cable driver version 7.1.31.0. my cellphone has RM-348

If I delete the WLAN access point, I can access the internet and email no problem but I need to select the WLAN and enter the key first.Seems like a problem with my WLAN access point settings.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just updated my Xperia 8 to 2.1 (eventually, because I use a Mac ) and can now no longer get the phone to connect to my home internet which it was happily doing untl that point. (Backed everything up & successfully restored all my other info / settings)I have reset the modem to factory settings, rebooted all the various equipment which all reconnected with the code. I type in the same code into the phone & it tells me that the code is incorrect & then that WiFi is 'disconnected'. So far, I have not been able to get to any access points for other free WiFi, so dont know if this is a general fault.
