I've got a Sony Ericson Xperia E15i, Firmware-Version: 2.1-update 1, Baseband-Version M76xx-TSNCJOLYM-53404015, Kernel-Version 2.6.29, Build-Number: 2.1.1.C.0.0 and sometimes it just switches itself off.
It just switches off, after a second it restarts and asks for my pincode...
Before entering my pincode it is useless... alarm clock doesn't work and there is no network service so nobody can call me... Due to this software-fail, auto-update-fcuk-up, whatever I've missed several important calls because I didn't notice that my phone had actually swtched itself off.
Is there anything I can do to deactivate this random restart feature?
My ray keeps switching off by itself, I notice that it will "die" after the screen display dim. It seems like it cannot sleep, instead automatically switch off. I repair the software by using PC suite a few times already.
I have a Xperia Neo L. I have used it for about half a year and there never has been any problems. However, since yesterday, after I switched off my phone. I was not able to turn it back on again. When I held down the power button, there was a vibration, which was normal, but there is nothing on the screen. The screen is just totally black. When I tries to charge my phone to see what happens, there is still the orange light on top, but my phone still does not switch on. I tried calling myself, but it claims that my phone is switched off. When I link my phoner to the computer, my phone will still have the orange light on top, signifying that it is being charged, but when I check my computer, I cannot find my phone(the file-removable disc(:/F))
My Z2 keeps switching itself off when there is a notification. This doesn't happen every time, but when it does happen, I will need to plug it to the charger to turn the device on again.  Also, I don't seem to have the problem when the phone is in silent mode.
Is there a way or app that could allow me to switching between open apps? Like the ALT + TAB utility in any Windows, or the Windows + TAB in Windows 7. Because sometimes when you use Home button certain apps stop working.
Everytime I connect my phone to my PC via the USB cable, it launches PC companion, and then connects okay. But within a few seconds, the phone just switched itself off for no reason. Ive tried it on both my desktop and my laptop with the same results.
Since the recent update I have had three phone calls that I have tried to answer but as I slide the icon across the phone restarts. I don't get many calls and since the update have only had one call that I have answered properly.
My mobile gone switched off due to low charge at midnight in the morning I tried to charge the mobile with original charger. Red indication light is getting but neither charging nor switching on and not even getting any notifications what to do. I have done all steps to reset, reboot, update, holding upper volume key with switch on button, red button reset, etc.but no change what to do
I recently got a gift of an xperia Z2, which i've so much been looking forward to.  after updating the phone to kitkat 4.4.4  the very next day, the phone goes off. i left it to charge overnight, of which it only showed a little lightening bolt, with an empty battery which blinks about the same time as red light that shows when the phone is plugged to the charger up till the next morning when i woke up  And all attempts at switching on as failed. as i have tried holding down the power button at the same time as the volume down button and also tried the little red button next to the Sim slot. the phone doesn't vibrate or switch on
I am a new user of the x10 mini pro and would like to update it. I have been following the update instruction from this site, installed companion but during the update the phone switches itself off and the update fails. I have tried one work around involving checking the 'charge battery' but this didn't work and the phone still shuts itself off.
I have Sony Expedia Z2, since yesterday any time when making a phone call the screen is switching off and there is no way to switch it back on until call is over which may be an issue when connect to answering machine and want to disconnect. Even a power button seems to be not responsive. So when calling I have absolutely no control over my phone. How to fix it and is it another bug in Lolipop the biggest catastrophy since Windows?
Have just updated to Lollipop and all seems good except when when I sleep the phone, if i touch the top left hand corner of the screen the phone awakes, gets a bit annoying as when i hold my phone it keeps switching on, want to disable?
My X10 Mini Pro freezes out at the lock screen when I switch it on as it is still charging!I switched off my phone the night before and plugged it in to charge. The next morning I switched it on and it took a while to boot up but when it eventually did it would not let me past the lock screen.I then went out and when I came back, a hour later, it had died.
After upgrading my Xperia X10 Mini Pro from Android 1.6 to Android 2.1 the phone keeps on switching off and restarting itself automatically on any given moment during the day (at least 2 or 3 times a day).It happens even/especially when I am not using any apps. So there does not seem to be any reason for restarting.
I keep having to manually turn it off (by unchecking 'Data enabled'), which is annoying. What might be triggering it back on all the time? I want to use wifi when available and only (expensive) 3G data when no wifi is available. what I should check? I've read that 'apndroid' can assist, however I don't want to use this if it's not necessary.
I am Using Sony Xperia Ray mobile. In that while taking photo flash light is not getting switch on automatically. It's required to switch ON manually. Is there any option to enable this?
It happen almost everytime im done using my earphone, i pulled it out the text appear and it wont go away, restart my phone close my song app. It still there in the middle of my screen, what do I do?
I bought my Xperia SK17a a few months back in Vancouver, I then moved to Mexico, I unlocked it here in Mexico and it has always worked fine except for one thing: when I plug in my headphones I can hear my media just fine, but then if I unplug them the phone won't detect that it no longer has the headphones and so the sound and media will keep playing as if it the headphones were still plugged, obviously I can't hear nothing coming out from the built-in speaker because it keeps sending the sound to the 3.5 mm jack. Sometimes I can make it work, this will only happend if I shut down my phone or if I slightly plug in my headphones on the jack but not enought to get the music , after I do that I can hear a constant "tap-tap-tap-tap" as if someone was knocking the door, however I can't always do that or it dosn't always works. I can also hear that "taptaptap..." sound when I record or make a call and have the built-in speaker working, such speaker stop working the second I plug in and out my headphones and if I record a video with the headphones plugged or the speakers not working I can no longer hear such tapping on the video. Also, if i plug in the headphones I can no longer hear anything during a call, but they can indeed hear me, If i want to hear the other person I'd have to plug in my headphones or pray for a miracle to happen.
I've found problem with xperia keyboard. While switching among words keyboard use to hide and show in a fraction of second despite of I still write text in the same text-box. It used to stay shown while I'm in the samw text-box. Also noticed it happens only I set cursor at the beginning or end of word. If cursor is set into word keyboard is still shown.
Here's video Xperia Keyboard issue: While writing this I noticed that if I push enter button on keybord for new line keyboard uses to hide and not shows up.
Since updating to lollipop i have had no mobile signal and the nfc icon keeps switching on and off. I have tried to hard reset my phone as will as factory reset and even reinstalled the firmware but to no avail. Tried putting another sim card in and still not working. everything was working fine on kitkat.
my x10 mini is stuck in a cycle of switching its self on and off again before it reaches the home screen, been like it for 2 days, was fully charged when it started and drained the battery eventually doing this, put it on charge and it started the cycle again, and i can't connect it to a P.C via usb because it's not on long enough to recognize the device.
Suddenly my style cover have stopped switching to The small window screen when i close it. Tried to install another theme made for it but it still wont work.
I bought my new xperia Neo L on october 2012, but now its has created problem for me.it automatically sitched off and now its not turning on.I have called cutomer care and they told me to update the software,i did it still its not working.I have charged my battery till green light glows.once i click on switchon button i can feel some vibrate, then i can see nothing on the screen.
My problem is that when I'm texting it will all of a sudden 'crash' I have tried removing the battery, giving it a few minutes and replacing the battery and again it 'crashes' It has happened a few times now and have found if I leave it for an hour or two without the battery in then replace it and try again it is fine. Last night the same thing occured but now when I turn it on it switches off again. I can't get past the date and time screen I don't know if it's due to a memory storage issue or software issue. I haven't the foggiest on how to update my software.....told you I am an amateur! Have removed memory card to no avail too.
Is it possible to switch off the 3G network to the 2G network on the C5-00.2?
Been told to go to settings then phone then network, all I see there is Network Mode, Operator Selection, and Cell Info Display, so is it the first option to change dual mode to GSM that switches it to the 2G network?
I've seen this question asked quite a few times from searching the threads, but I've not found a definite answer. I currently have a 3gs. I'm planning on buying an iphone 4 on pay as you go (UK), then just keeping my current contract sim. I'm not on an 'official' iphone contract. Does this mean I'm going to have to cut my cim card up to fit it in the micro sim tray?
I'm assuming there's no way o2 will give me a micro sim card whilst keeping my on my current contract, as they'll just tell me to get a proper iphone contract (which is £15 more per month than I'm currently paying with less mins etc)
Does anyone switch the sims between their iPhone 4 and 3G/3Gs? I finally found a new phone yesterday and I want to get a sim adapter so that I can use my 3GS when I'm training or in a place where I don't want to get the ip4 all dirty and sweaty. The guy at the store said that this is a no no and that AT&T would charge me the full price of the ip4 if I do this while I'm still under contract. This sounds like a complete load of bs but I just want to make sure.
